Great location right in Kinvara main st. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. Parking is plenty however may not be available right in front of the hotel always. Overall fantastic place - don’t forget to take a walk on the Kinvara streets after your Guinness - magical and only steps away from the hotel.

Unassuming entrance reveals a very high quality B&B. Close walk to multiple pubs with food. Sits over a grocery store. We used the free laundry room. One of our nicest stays in Ireland!

The Kinvara Guesthouse is a jewel. It's big-city lodging in a small, cozy Irish town. It's the kind of town one sees in Irish travel books and brochures. Parking is available in front of the guesthouse, on the street, essentially. They have an elevator (lift) which was a big help for my wife (and me with our luggage). We had a huge room on the second floor with a view of the "plaza" in front of the guesthouse. The bathroom was more than adequate. Our only complaint is that there were no wash cloths (but none of the Irish hotels we used had wash cloths - must be an Ireland thing). The included breakfast buffet was delicious. No white or black pudding or sausage or fried egg, but had more than enough other choices to be satisfying. We liked the location very much. The nearly lake and Dunguaire Castle is very picturesque. Pier Head restaurant has delicious fare. Galway is a short 25-minute drive on the motorway. Even the drive to Rosaveel Harbout, to catch the ferry ot Innishmore, was quite easy from Kinvara. While there are other pubs in town, we thought Tully's Bar, just around the corner from Kinvara Guesthouse, was a joy. They had live music two nights in a row - bluegrass one night, traditional Irish the next - by musicians who just showed up to "play for fun." In any case, Kinvara Guesthouse made for a very relaxing, pleasurable, and comfortable three-night stay.

We had a wonderful stay here! It was a very cute hotel in a good location and very quiet. Several restaurants nearby. We had been traveling for a few weeks and they were so kind to let us use the laundry room to do a few loads of laundry! The Continental breakfast was really good as well. This hotel is right above a grocery store which was very convenient as well!

Das Guesthouse ist mitten im Zentrum des Ortes, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants, Pubs, etc. fußnah, trotzdem ruhig und ein hübscher Ort mit kleinem Hafen. Parkplätze vor dem Haus waren belegt, aber man kann ums Eck auf dem Parkplatz von Eurospar über Nacht kostenfrei parken. Das Haus ist nicht neu, aber gut eingerichtet, genauso wie die Zimmer komfortabel. Die Zimmer bzw. der Flur ist etwas hellhörig. Das Bad ist sehr modern & sauber. Frühstück war international, reichhaltig mit viel Auswahl und sehr empfehlenswert. Das Personal war sehr liebenswürdig, sofort zur Stelle und hilfsbereit. Wir würden dort wieder übernachten.

This property was very clean and quiet. It had a common area with a television and comfortable sofas to relax or visit with others outside of your room. The breakfast was exceptional. There was a nice variety of food and was well above what I expected for a continental breakfast. An added bonus was a laundry room with free self serve washer and dryer. There were several pubs and restaurants within a very easy walking distance. It’s a small town so not a lot of other activities, but a great stop to get away from big cities and close to many attractions like the Cliff’s of Moher. Also a large grocery store right up the street.

El hotel está bien. El staff es amable. Pero indica que es un hotel de 4* y no es cierto para nada, de ahí la decepción. Todo está perfecto si indican la realidad: es un hotel de 3*. Entiendo que la limpieza estaba bien, pero no había mucha luz en la habitación y ambos días llegamos de noche y nos fuimos muy temprano, pero había una araña enorme en el baño. En vez de 4 tazas para café (hablamos de habitación cuádruple) sólo había 2 (no tan importante porque los niños no toman café), el papel higiénico muuuuy sencillo, de una sola capa, que al final utilizas el triple, los complementos de ducha no los repusieron al segundo día, las camas estaban penosamente hechas (no pido cambio de sábanas diario, pero tampoco se trata de sólo estirar las sábanas) y el desayuno más que justito... unas lonchas de jamón y queso, tres diferentes tipos de pan, fruta (rica, eso sí), poca variedad de cereales y huevos cocidos... Insisto: perfecto para un hotel de 3* y no de 4* como se vende. Precisamente por esto no voy a poner la puntuación que se merece, porque los Hoteles de 4* lo son por algo, y este no llega. Y no, no tiene que ver con que sea Irlanda, porque hemos estado en otros 3 hoteles diferentes estos días: dos de ellos cumplían las expectativas de 4 que prometían, y el tercero las cumplía con creces aún indicando que era de 3.

Bonjour, Tout était parfait! Nous avons eu un beau séjour dans cet endroit. La chambre, la salle de bain, la literie et les serviettes étaient hyper propres. Les chambres semblaient avoir été rénovées récemment et le personnel était très accueillant et accommodant. Le fait de pouvoir utiliser la salle à manger et le salon à notre guise est un avantage qui permet de socialiser, si bon vous semble!

They have the cleanest hallway carpet I have ever seen. Maybe it was new, but it was amazing for a hotel. The view from the room was nice, we could open the windows for a cool breeze. Also, being directly above a supermarket meant easy access to necessities and a quick bite for breakfast.

We stayed in late July so summer weather is to be expected but the windows only opened a crack and it was very warm even with the 2 provided table fans that were available in the room. The bathroom was newly remodeled and very clean but the sleeping area was a bit outdated (looked like an older college dorm).

Parking was available right in front of the hotel. We were greeted and checked in quickly and efficiently. The rooms are large and appear to be newly remodeled, so everything was in excellent conditions. There are at least a couple dining options nearby. Overall an excellent stay.

We enjoyed our stay and dinner in pub the first night. We enjoyed the breakfast. The staff was helpful. The only thing I would improve is a place to get water or soda in a machine. We were parched when we got there and there was no bottled water in the room. Pillows were very flat and well worn. Room was nice. Glad we picked this hotel. Close to park to rent bikes.

I was not able to sleep well because the room was very warm. We were not able to open a window near the bed because the handle was broken off. When we inquired about not being able to cool off the room we were told they did not no when the lock would be fixed. We were NOT offered another room despite our complaint of it being unpleasantly warm and not conducive to sleeping well.Also the fan in the room was broken. The host was polite and kind. She willingly brought another fan and some ice to our room. Breakfast was only continental style with limited options.

This place is really nice. It looks quite small from the front until you realize that the entire upper level is the hotel. The town itself is quite small, but the Spar round the corner is very nice for picking up items needed. The restaurants close pretty early, but that’s fairly normal in Ireland. I cannot speak anymore highly of the staff because they were all too-notch! Would def recommend!
This place is really nice. It looks quite small from the front until you realize that the entire upper level is the hotel. The town itself is quite small, but the Spar round the corner is very nice for picking up items needed. The restaurants close pretty early, but that’s fairly normal in Ireland. I cannot speak anymore highly of the staff because they were all too-notch! Would def recommend!

My family's short stay at the Kinvara Guesthouse was decent after a rocky start. Our initial room absolutely reeked of heavy perfume and the smell of smoking--although it's designated strictly for non-smoking--with the window wide open, chilling the room with cold air. It was clear they had been trying to disguise the smell, and it made my wife nauseous. Upon notification of the issue, the annoyed (owner? manager?) sent us back to the front desk, where the on-duty employee gave a lot of attitude to make the room change...in a mostly-empty property. The stay was mostly fine otherwise, except for the same employee at breakfast the next morning, removing items early and then again making a dramatic big deal of bringing milk back out (it was still minutes before designated end of mealtime). We were nice, polite and considerate all along, so I have no idea what caused such frustration for this man, but customer service apparently isn't his strong suit. If the face of the property handled things differently, I'd give this guesthouse a 4-star review.

We showed up after 9 pm and Keyla stayed late to get us checked in. Extremely nice and helpful. Fresh towels and beds made each day. Breakfast (included) was good and staff were very nice and accommodating. 3 or 4 pubs to choose from within 150 meters. We used this as a jump off point for Galway about 30 km away.

Great location right in Kinvara main st. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. Parking is plenty however may not be available right in front of the hotel always. Overall fantastic place - don’t forget to take a walk on the Kinvara streets after your Guinness - magical and only steps away from the hotel.

This is a great place to stay. We loved it. It’s in a wonderful location with free parking. The breakfast was really good, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice too. We would stay again. This was our favorite hotel that we stayed in Ireland.

The Kinvara Guesthouse is a jewel. It's big-city lodging in a small, cozy Irish town. It's the kind of town one sees in Irish travel books and brochures. Parking is available in front of the guesthouse, on the street, essentially. They have an elevator (lift) which was a big help for my wife (and me with our luggage). We had a huge room on the second floor with a view of the "plaza" in front of the guesthouse. The bathroom was more than adequate. Our only complaint is that there were no wash cloths (but none of the Irish hotels we used had wash cloths - must be an Ireland thing). The included breakfast buffet was delicious. No white or black pudding or sausage or fried egg, but had more than enough other choices to be satisfying. We liked the location very much. The nearly lake and Dunguaire Castle is very picturesque. Pier Head restaurant has delicious fare. Galway is a short 25-minute drive on the motorway. Even the drive to Rosaveel Harbout, to catch the ferry ot Innishmore, was quite easy from Kinvara. While there are other pubs in town, we thought Tully's Bar, just around the corner from Kinvara Guesthouse, was a joy. They had live music two nights in a row - bluegrass one night, traditional Irish the next - by musicians who just showed up to "play for fun." Rooms were excellent and super clean. But We were suppose to have breakfast in the morning. But conveniently he doesn't start serving until 8:30. He knows people want to catch ferry early. He should at least put something out. Fruit, yogurt pastries coffees. I little something would have been nice.

The property description was misleading. When it says parking, it means in a public, in street carpark. Staff on arrival was not very helpful. Lots of questions needed to be asked. At check out, noone was available so needed to leave them on the unattended front desk. It also is vague about the breakfast. It is a cold buffet only. No hot food. The room was clean, modern and comfortable.

What a wonderful place to stay! It is within walking distance of the Pier Head restaurant and Dungaire Castle. We had room 10 (end of the hall, very quiet, very comfortable bed, and blackout curtains). And breakfast is lovely--French press coffee, fresh pastries, cereals or hot porridge, cheese, fruit, and juice. It was the best "continental" breakfast of our trip!

This property was very clean and quiet. It had a common area with a television and comfortable sofas to relax or visit with others outside of your room. The breakfast was exceptional. There was a nice variety of food and was well above what I expected for a continental breakfast. An added bonus was a laundry room with free self serve washer and dryer. There were several pubs and restaurants within a very easy walking distance. It’s a small town so not a lot of other activities, but a great stop to get away from big cities and close to many attractions like the Cliff’s of Moher. A modern spotless property located in the middle of Kinvara. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A short walk to restaurants, pubs with a good supermarket adjacent. Kinvara is a pretty village in the middle of a very picturesque region. We were there during a heatwave, it was a glorious break. The room was equipped with a fan so we had a very comfortable stay.
