No repetiría. Se supone que es el hotel perfecto para descansar más y estar cerca del aeropuerto. A mí no me mereció la pena, hubiese preferido elegir un hotel más lejos pero descansar bien. Las instalaciones están bien pero las paredes de cartón y se oye todo. La gente tiene muy poco respeto para el descanso y he pasado las tres horas que tenía para dormir escuchando los portazos y las voces de las personas que se iban y venían, las duchas, mil y una veces la puerta del recepcionista que estaba al lado de nuestra habitación. Salí sin pegar ojo, más cansada que llegué al hotel después del viaje. No lo recomiendo para alguien que no puede dormir con ruido. Las duchas y los aseos compartidos limpios, toallas de alquiler por 3€. Si vas en coche, está bien, hay parking privado pero si no, está a 20 minutos andando del aeropuerto, quizás a las 4 de la mañana no es lo más cómodo.

Für 1 Nacht gebucht, da wir spät mit Flieger ankamen. Taxi 8 Eur bis Hotel ok. Leider klappte Check-in nicht, Code nicht akzeptiert, 3xüber Sprechanlage vor Eingang probiert, jedes Mal andere Person dran, wurde immer rausgeworfen. Ein Gast öffnete und mittlerweile 0.30 Uhr die Türe. dort hatte es ein rotes Telefon,haben angerufen u eine Angestellte kam u gab uns den richtigen Code, war nicht gerade freundlich. Zimmer m Dusche gebucht,sehr klein,aber sauber u schön. für 1 Nacht ok.Frühstück nicht genommen, aber Kaffee f Eur 1.50 erhalten, tiptop.anschliessend ca 15 minütiger gut signalisierter Fussweg zurück zum Flughafen. Zur Info:kein Lift,kein Fön,keine Klimaanlage

The property is good for a night stay. You have to leave the car outside so you can go and check in to get the gate code, if you arrive a bit late the are looks a bit abandoned. Not sure if it’s part of the service but we had no towels in the room.

Parking is good, decor is nice, the shared bathe room were ok, could be better but for 50 euro it was worth it! Nice comfy front hotel area accessible all night. Could not sleep so was able to hangout with some other guests out front. Overall it was a pleasant surprise!

No towels in either the room for the sink (without soap or anything similar) or the seperate bathroom/the shower room. The bathroom floor was extremely sticky and didn’t seem to be cleaned for a long time. The blanket was torn and not what you’d expect in a hotel. The walls are not soundproof at all, I heated everything that was going on on the floor, and not just right outside my door.

Wow, das war echt schlecht. Es ist günstig und natürlich muss man das in Relation setzen, aber hier war nicht viel wirklich in Ordnung. Die kleinen Zimmer sind von der Sauberkeit in Ordnung, gemeinsame Dusche und WC unfassbar eklig. Die meisten bleiben ja nur eine Nacht, mehr ist auch echt nicht machbar. Bei den Zimmer zur Autobahn und Flughafen ist es unfassbar laut das Fenster zu öffnen, schlafen unmöglich. Kommt dann noch Hitze dazu hat man verloren. Weiterhin ist es sehr hellhörig, man hört praktisch alles, auch wenn es mehrere Meter entfernt und durch Türen hindurch ist. Zu Fuß zum Flughafen ist auch eine Zumutung. Auch wenn es echt günstig war nicht wieder

The staff were not friendly. The front desk did not want to answer simple questions about the area and transportation. The toilets and showers were dirty. Bring your own toilet paper. We stayed one night and that was enough. I won't stay there again. It is 1.5 kilometers from the airport. It's ok if you arrive late to the town and are in transit to a better hotel

A basic hotel within walking distance of airport. Staff very friendly and helpful. However it is very hot during summer and the building has no insulation from the heat. Poor shower areas with no ventilation or space only adds to the hotbox feel. This hotel does its job for a quick stopover for a flight at a low cost.

Arrived at the hotel at 1am and Had trouble with the check in process (self check in) and after about 15minutes of repeat tries I had to call someone. The room was a 2 single bed(because we were 2 people) upon opening the door 1 of the 2 beds was undone. Unfortunately no one had cleaned the room prior. I should also inform you that the rooms don’t have individual showers and toilets which I didn’t seem to notice when booking this hotel. We informed the lady and she gave us a different room which was 1 bed 1 1/2 which unfortunately made things difficult for us as we were not looking to share a bed! This room has a private shower and a toilet but they are tiny! I wouldn’t recommend this property!

Pros: muy cerca del aeropuerto, zona tranquila, aparcamiento propio gratuito, paredes gruesas (no oyes otras habitaciones). Contras: habitaciones minúsculas sin ventilación interior (tienen ventana), baño privado (si escoges) increíblemente pequeño, sin armarios, pocos enchufes, una única toalla por persona en toda la habitación. No apto para claustrofóbicos. IMPORTANTE: desde mayo de 2025, el agua del grifo no es potable por alta concentración de químicos del aeropuerto. Se recomienda llevar agua embotellada para evitar los precios de la máquina expendedora de recepción.

Need somewhere to stay near the Basel Airport for an early night flight. This hotel was cheap and fit my needs. I would reccomend it for 1 night but I would look for something else if you plan to stay mutiple nights. There is no soundproofing in this hotel and you can hear talking, doors, and other noises very easily, bring ear plugs!

Unfortunately very hot (heat wave), no fan or screens on windows meant we got mosquito bites and was difficult to sleep. Enjoyed the bats hunting just outside the window- they might have helped with the mosquitoes. Shared toilet light didn’t stay on when the door closed - needed to use phone light.

The room was ok. Clean bed and pillows. Shower has hot and cold water. Tissues, towels, and soap were provided. It was quite hot in the room though. No aircon. 1 window that opens wide but there's lots of bugs flying outside as it was summer time. The checking-in wasn't bad. A machine is at the left side of the entrance kind of like an ATM machine. Just had to follow the instructions (putting in your confirmation number and press verifying /validate). Make sure to take a picture in case the machine does not print. The problem was walking from the airport to the hotel. It's about 10 - 5minutes and google maps doesn't really help much specially at night time (we arrived at midnight). The pathway was a bit dodgy specially the tunnel bit. There's no light on the road unless a car passes by. For those that needed to walk and go there from Basel airport: go out on the France side. And turn left towards a parking area called F4. Keep walking all the way to the end of the parking / building then at the end, head to the left corner of the open area where you need to go up a stairs covered by leaves / grass so it's hard to see. You'll see a wooden bridge which then goes to the tunnel. Go in the tunnel, cross the street and follow the signs that says St Louise. After you reach and crossed overpass (Highway below), turn right. The street is quite dark at night but it's there.

I didn't get a code to get into the building when I arrived late at night . so I had to wait outside in the cold until someone came to open it :((

There was no receptionist at this hotel and the automated machine wouldnt accept our reservation number. The call box at the side of the machine called someone who didnt know what hotel we were at and was no help. The booking process didnt indicate an unmanned hotel and I'm sure this hotel will tey to charge me even though i couldnt get in. Avoid this place at all costs

Selbst Check-in Automat hat nicht funktioniert. Fernsprecher auch nicht, oder die Person am anderen Ende konnte kein Englisch, da sie so tat als ob sie mich nicht höhre. Also Französische Gäste kurz später auftauchten funktionierte der Fernsprecher wieder. Musstenbdann warten bis jemand kam und uns manuell einchecken konnte. Toilettensit war vollgepinkelt. Ich werde bei einem frühen Flug das nächste Mal im Auto schlafen.

Für 1 Nacht gebucht, da wir spät mit Flieger ankamen. Taxi 8 Eur bis Hotel ok. Leider klappte Check-in nicht, Code nicht akzeptiert, 3xüber Sprechanlage vor Eingang probiert, jedes Mal andere Person dran, wurde immer rausgeworfen. Ein Gast öffnete und mittlerweile 0.30 Uhr die Türe. dort hatte es ein rotes Telefon,haben angerufen u eine Angestellte kam u gab uns den richtigen Code, war nicht gerade freundlich. It may not be 5* luxury but Hotel F1 is fun, clean, comfy and convenient. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had a great time and would recommend. Walking directions from airport: turn immediately left, and follow covered walkway next to the open car park, walk alongside F4 multi-story; under tunnel at end, follow pedestrian footpath to the road, take a left then turn right, over motorway bridge and first right.

This place is perfectly fine to sleep when you have a 6:00 AM flight, although breakfast isn't served early enough for that on weekdays. More importantly, it borders on dangerous to walk here to from the train station/airport because there are no sidewalks. Google Maps literally sent me on a highway underpass with a curve. It was 10 PM so I took out my cellphone & turned the light on, praying that cars would see me. I mentioned this to the front desk and she wasy like "Yeah, I know." Final point, the card in the room says you can request extra pillows, but the front desk was like "No, sorry, we don't have any."

Lots of bad reviews for this hotel but for us it was exactly as advertised. It’s basically really close to Basel-Mulhouse airport and is an inexpensive, no frills place to stay the night before your flight. The St Louis la Chaussee train station is a 5 minute walk away were you can get a cheap return ticket to Basel. It is right next to the A35 motorway but the noise didn’t bother us. You can walk to and from the terminal from the hotel but give yourself some extra time as the signage at the airport is diabolical! Our booking wasn’t on their system (the only time that’s happened on hotels.com) but the staff were helpful and found a solution promptly so no complaints.

This is your only walkable option to the BSL/MLH airport for that early flight. Rooms are tiny, but clean, with a nice interior and very inexpensive. Make sure you have your confirmation number ready, not just your Orbitz itinerary number as you'll likely have to check in at a machine to get the building and room code. A great option if you understand what you are booking.

The room was ok. Clean bed and pillows. Shower has hot and cold water. Tissues, towels, and soap were provided. It was quite hot in the room though. No aircon. 1 window that opens wide but there's lots of bugs flying outside as it was summer time. The checking-in wasn't bad. A machine is at the left side of the entrance kind of like an ATM machine. Just had to follow the instructions (putting in your confirmation number and press verifying /validate). Make sure to take a picture in case the machine does not print. The problem was walking from the airport to the hotel. It's about 10 - 5minutes and google maps doesn't really help much specially at night time (we arrived at midnight). The pathway was a bit dodgy specially the tunnel bit. There's no light on the road unless a car passes by. For those that needed to walk and go there from Basel airport: go out on the France side. And turn left towards a parking area called F4. Keep walking all the way to the end of the parking / building then at the end, head to the left corner of the open area where you need to go up a stairs covered by leaves / grass so it's hard to see. You'll see a wooden bridge which then goes to the tunnel. Go in the tunnel, cross the street and follow the signs that says St Louise. After you reach and crossed overpass (Highway below), turn right. The street is quite dark at night but it's there.

Overall good for the money. Property needed a little maintenance. Doors were tempermental and in need of attention. Breakfast options were very limited. Staff was very helpful and pleasent. I would stay here again and recommend it for a budget minded traveller.

Das Zimmer und die Flure waren stickig, Toilette und WC wurden geteilt - ein Schock. Ich musste an der Rezeption nach einem Handtuch fragen, weil es keines im Zimmer gab. Kein Restaurant - ein weiterer Schock, ich habe gefrühstückt, weil ich keine andere Wahl hatte. Ich werde nie wieder dort übernachten.

Excelente!! Elegimos el hotel porque llegábamos tarde, si bien para ir andando es cerca, el camino tiene partes oscuras. Con el servicio quedamos muy conformes. El chico de la recepción muy agradable. La habitación perfecta para lo que necesitábamos. Los baños y ducha fuera de la habitación pero limpios y cómodos. Agregamos el desayuno que se puede tomar bien temprano. Nos gustó la decoración!
