The property to easy to get to and check in was easy. We called in early to verify the pool and hot tub were working and were extremely disappointed to learn that although the hot tub had water in it, it was in fact not working. Our room had what appeared to be mold in the bathroom and lots of poorly repaired water damage.

The rooms were clean and we loved having a keurig, a microwave, and a small fridge. The fitness center, pool, and hot tub was nice. Breakfast was very good, we had biscuits and gravy and eggs and potatoes which were very good. The only complaint we have is the noise: barking dogs, kids running up and down the hall at midnight and in the room above us, and the neighbors tv blasting at 5am.

The staff was great but the rooms and facilities were showing wear and tear. The breakfast was great. The meat was rotated daily so I only got bacon once and different types of sausages the other days. A couple different options for eggs and pancakes options but overall one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. The pool/hot tub was a little rough (rough or cracked bottom, etc) but was clean and well maintained with plenty of clean towels. The weekend seams to be pretty busy (had a full baseball team I think plus more) while the weekdays only had a few work crews parked in the parking lot/at breakfast. Cleaning staff was accommodating but not all spoke English and had to use translating programs on phones for request but if you were not in a hurry they were great.

What is unique about this stay? Never been in a room where mold and used Qtips left in the bathroom were deemed acceptable. Stained sheets and oh, The bed bug bites come free of charge. And the nasty chemical smell comes “from the basement” according to the front desk staff…. They don’t have a basement.

There was mold around the caulking on the upper part of the bathtub. Also seemed to be some mold around portions of the bathroom floor. There were strips of tape on the room ceiling. The bottom of the toilet lid was yellow with stain.

Front desk was very nice, welcoming. The room was ok. It wasn't as clean as I felt it should be. Some things in my room could use replacing ir repairing or cleaning really well. While the soap and lotion were in pump dispensers, I didn't feel they were clean and so i cleaned them before pumping the soap. The corner sofa is completely stained, and should be replaced or at least hygienically cleaned.

Overall this was a decent hotel. It is on a good area with lots of restaurants down the road. The staff was nice. The beds were comfy. We got a 2 queen suite and it was very spacious. Breakfast was good.... had eggs or omelets, some meat (bacon or sausage), biscuits & gravy, cinnamon rolls, cereal, muffins, pancakes, yogurt.... one day had breakfast potatoes as well. Juice, milk, & coffee. Our only complaints are that the pool didn't seem to have a filter on. Lots of hair and particles floating in it. Didn't seem to bother my kids but it's adults didn't stay in. Second complaint would be we had ants in our room and the breakfast area had ants. We were on the 3rd floor. My son had a bag of candy that ended up with maybe 30-40 ants in it when he woke up. Killed a few on the bed as well. We wouldn't be opposed to staying there again.

This location had many interior (room) and exterior areas of the building in disrepair. There is obvious and wide spread neglect in maintenance and upkeep, the worst being the sagging mattresses with springs about to poke through. Cleanliness was acceptable. We will not stay again.

The only reason i give them an average rating is the bed was extremely uncomfortable, pillows way too flat and the curtains wouldnt close out the space light at night. Other than that, the place was great...clean, quiet and in a great area for shopping, restaurants, etc.

Stayed 1night with my sister . Location was great for where we needed to be .check in was friendly and helpful . We checked in late afternoon. And don’t know if it was the check in time or that I booked through Hotels.com but the room was a bit compromised . It was right by the elevator and the ice machine. This made it difficult for a restful sleep . The ventilation of the AC went on an off throughout the night making it hard to find comfort in sleep for it got warm then cool, warm then cool . The place was clean and the lighting was nice and comfortable . The shower faucet leaks a bit but everything else worked well . Beds were comfy, breakfast was good , employees were nice .

The thermostat in our room was set to 98. Our room was so hot it was uncomfortable to sleep in. One of the mattresses had a sunken in spot that one member of our family had to make other arrangements to sleep someplace else.

This hotel has gone downhill. It used to be my go to hotel when I traveled to Wichita to visit my parents. My experience was horrible this time around. I started out in room 205. The beds were warm out. I felt like I was laying in a hole the size of a bathtub. Holiday Inn is supposed to be known for their pillow options which I used to like but this time I woke up with a kink in my neck. My second night, I had to call downstairs to have me moved to a different room because there was a man upstairs who was coughing and walking around all night. The next morning, the hotel cleaning crew walked into my room at 7am and then again at 8am while I was in the shower. If you want sleep, dont stay here.

Hotel staff was the same person the entire time and she was extremely rude and short with us. The house keepers were nice but the rooms are in need for major repairs and the bathroom is disgustingly dirty. Not what I expect from Holiday Inn. Choose a different location. We will not stay here again

It was fine, but housekeeping would not stop knocking on our door starting at 8:30am and would come back in 15-30 minute intervals. It was super frustrating and made it to where we felt rushed and couldn’t relax.

This has been the worst in 20 years. Check in took 1 hr at the desk, they kept charging my card for incidentals and even thou it said approved on the cc terminal and my bank sent texts saying it was approved, the clerk said it wasn’t. I used 3 cards all approved but he kept saying it wasn’t. I got a room with 2 queens and a sofa for 3 of us traveling, clerk gave me a 1 king room and then said that I told him it was ok. Why don’t he look at the reservation and give me what I prepaid for. I was driving through moving from Iowa to Texas, wanted to check in at 2:30 AM as Wichita is half way point, he told me I was late because check in was 3.00 PM. I prepaid as requested by Hotels.com and finally walked to my room at 3:45 AM after 2 different rooms issued that were not what I paid for. Left at 8:00 AM This is the worst experience ever! I want my money back, I feel they robbed me

Having never been to this location before, I was pleasantly surprised by the area. I didn't want to stay in downtown Wichita, so I opted for this hotel hoping for a quieter experience and I was not disappointed. The hotel is very close to amenities, so things like gas stations and restaurants were easy to find and quick to drive to. And although it's close to restaurants and shopping outlets, the hotel is set back from the main road, which makes it very peaceful. My room was clean and quiet. Water in the shower got hot quickly and the thermostat worked great. Bed was very comfortable. Did not eat the breakfast so I can't leave a review on that. If I'm ever traveling through Wichita again, I would absolutely book another stay here. Thank you for a smooth and relaxing experience!

Great location. Nice pool, I wish there was outdoor seating, so we could keep an eye on oir kids without being in the heat of the pool. Rooms were nice. A/C was very loud and made weird noises, but work pretty good. Faucet in the shower didnt worm correctly, but we figured it out.

Comfortable king size bed. Shower on third floor had very low water pressure. Hot tub next to pool takes a few tries to get the jets going but wow there was way too chlorine in it making our eyes water and uncomfortable to keep our eyes open. Breakfast was tasty however they need to watch use by dates for the milk cartons. 11 days past the date so yes I had a sip of sour milk and hadn’t noticed the date til after the sip. Yuck! Not sure the kitchen staff understood when I was trying to explain about the milk. Would stay here again. Friendly front desk staff and everything was clean. Reasonable price for a king suite.

Very easy to use card door lock system. Dove soap in the bathroom. Nice room. When using the shower recommend putting lever at 9 o’clock position to get hot water. If lever is rotated all the way the water is lukewarm to cold. Unless we got to the breakfast soon after it started breakfast items that should have been hot were cool. Also juice machine not working. Bottled juices in fridge 2 out of the 3 days. No juice at all third morning.
