Midtown West Hotel

Right in the middle of everything, staff was friendly. Felt safe knowing the main door got locked at night.

Perhaps the worst hotel experience to date. I arrived to a drunk man watching the door and a handwritten sign that said, "Front desk will be back shortly pls call…for urgent help." Nobody showed up despite the drunk man yelling, "Hellllo Customer Service you have a customer," and other confusing issues. At no point was I ever met by a staffer. I took video and photos and left. I contacted Hotels.com who could not tell me if the hotel would charge me or cancel because they also were unable to reach the front desk. I am 6'3" tall and felt genuinely unsafe at this hotel.

There was no hot water for showers in the morning.

El hotel es decente para dormir, pero si te toca habitación hacia la calle como en mi caso se escucha un ruidero toda la noche que no deja dormir. La ventana como que no sella bien y se mete el aire y es helado. En conclusión es bueno literal para dormir pero si buscas comodidad y descanso definitivamente aquí no es

Rooms are very small. Halls are very loud. There is NO ELEVATOR. We were on the 4th floor with a friend that has severe asthma. Who knew we needed to ask if there was an elevator in a four floor hotel. Location was great though - right across from msg/penn station. Pizza place on the same block was really good. Staff was very nice. Would stay there again just not with the asthmatic friend.
