This location is a solid basic hotel. Very close to the airport, which is a plus. Do note, that there is horrendous traffic at rush hours from the airport into Cape Town, so this might not be where you want to be if you plan to join tours in town starting in the morning. It felt safe here, and the food options in house were better and less expensive than expected. Noise travels through the doors here easily so it was pretty loud at night.

I chose this hotel because it was close to the airport and the website said it had a shuttle to the airport. However, they do not have a shuttle. The front desk gave me the name of a company that would charge $150 USD, for a 5 minute ride to the airport. I chose Uber instead. The rooms were small, but clean and adequate. There was no elevator, even though there were 3 floors!

Smidigt med boende så nära flygplatsen när du kommer sent eller ska flyga tidigt. Hotellet erbjuder ett enkelt men funktionellt boende. Det finns egentligen inga faciliteter mer än att de erbjuder frukost och mat till extra avgift. Det finns inga toalettartiklar på rummen, mer än en liten ”shower bar” som är en tvål som ska användas som kombinerad duschkräm och schampo. Hotellet är fräscht men saknar hiss och det är väldigt lyhört. Via hotellet går det att boka transfer från flygplatsen.

The hotel is opposite the airport and therefore very practical if you arrive late or have a super early flight. Though the rooms are very small, they are clean and enough for a one night stay. The staff were so friendly to hand us a baby cot for our little one even though it could not be added as option on the Expedia website.

I've stayed here once before and always appreciated how easy and affordable this place is. However, my pillowcases had mysterious orange-ish stains on them, which was gross. It left me wondering how old the stain was, and why a stainless sheet was not provided. It was quite pronounced, so it's not hard to miss. Besides that, however, it was lovely again. Thank you!

Aircon sounded like a truck parked in the room. Room was hot, could not use the aircon as it was so loud I could not sleep. When I checked out and let the reception know he just said that's the way it is nothing he can do. I travel quarterly and will not be staying again.

Fomos informados que o horário do café da manhã era até as 10:30, descemos às 9:40 e já tinham removido tudo. Não tem elevador, se ficar no 2. andar, terá que ir de escadas. Estacionamento gratuito. Older hotel that needs to be updated. Rooms are very small for 2 people with luggage. Bed is comfy (and small for 2). Shower has good pressure and lots of hot water (but very small). Staff are very helpful and friendly. No refrigerator in room but lots of ice available at the reception/breakfast area. Did not eat here so can’t comment. Within walking distance of the airport (via a subway shortcut). Shuttle is an extra charge (read the fine print).

This place is good because of it's close location to the airport, but I don't recommend it! It was very noisy and we were unable to get more than a few hours of sleep. We could hear people walking past our doors all hours of the night and luggage being moved also. It was incredibly loud and noisy.

Mr Mdu, front reception is a very professional n friendly person. We had ab existing booking from December 31st to January 2nd. Due to some plan changes had to add another day to this booking. Tried calling, spoke to the GM of hotel but no one was willing to help. Ended up making a separate reservation for night of December 30th. Mdu when checking in made sure that both reservations are tied together n we had the same room for our duration.

It was extremely noisy, screaming, sounded like a fight. Loud talking till the early hours of the morning. Staff did nothing about it. Pretty sure you could hear the racket throughout the hotel. This is not the first time we have experienced this. My suggestion - do not allow patrons to bring in bags of alcohol, recipe for disaster.

Reception was not busy, but we were made to wait and treated like an inconvenience, no eye contact, given a 2nd floor room when we had previously requested a ground floor, waited for key to room whilst receptionist chatted on phone. Fortunately room was clean and adequate. Left at 0500 in the morning no probs getting thru Lodge Gate.

The room was clean and comfortable. The lady at reception was very slow, and sometimes looked as if she did not know what was going on. That was very frustrating. I had submitted all my information online when I had made the booking, yet everything had to be re-entered, which took very long.

Five stars for price, location and cleanliness - one of the best airport hotels I have stayed in. Not a destination but perfekt when arriving aftet a flight or staying close for a next day departure. Good brakfast. No elevator is a minus for some.

Convenient but advertised shuttle from airport which was a big factor to stay here was not provided. I had to pay my own way after I called the hotel and was told to use a certain transporter. That was better than being subjected to aggressive solicitation which occurred on my way to the Tourism desk

Hotel très pratique pour passer une nuit avant de prendre un avion le matin. Il n’y a pas de navette entre l’aéroport et l’hôtel mais il est possible de le gagner à pied en 10 minutes en passant par la zone des loueurs de voiture.

A perfectly acceptable near airport hotel. I would have given it 5 had there been a reasonable way to walk to the airport. We ended up getting a ride from a car service for R150 for the 4 minute drive.

Mnet Channel was blank . No visual , only sound . The rest of channels was sport wich I dont watch and languages I don’t understand. Upon arrival I had to wait for my room because none were ready nor available. I have reason to believe that the hotel was not fully booked . The food was horrible. I ordered a Rodeo Burger , the beef pattie was more soya that beef . For dinner my wife had the spinach and feta pizza and I had the ribs . The spinach on the pizza tasted as if it was frozen , then defrosted and drizzled over the pizza , no taste , no salt . It was awful. My Ribs was tough . I only ate one piece at the table . The rest I took for a take away and left in room number 6 . My Wife also left het pizza in the room . At the reception there is an advertisement for pap , chakalaka & Blade steak for R145 . Inside the menu the same advertisement appeared. We wanted to order that meal and we were told it is out of stock. Why advertise something if you dont have it ? I did not receive any finger bowl for my hands to wash with my rib & chip order . You guys should consider giving the staff s course on how to run a hotel . The hotel was very clean and quiet. It was a very convenient location to the airport (walking distance). Rooms should provide more bathroom toiletries- shampoo, conditioner, body wash. I had to ask at the front desk for a hair dryer. Reminder- breakfast ends at 9:00 (not 9:30 as we were told). When we showed up at 9:04, we were refused. But as an overnight stay after a very long day of travel, the hotel did the job just fine.

Great hotel next to the airport. Very convenient if you have an early departure or late arrival into the airport. Lovely breakfast and inexpensive. Great and friendly staff. Highly recommend!
