Good for the price. There doesn’t seem to be weather sealing around the door so noise light gets in, the street next to it can be loud.

Very courteous check in clerk. Easy parking. Mini refrigerator. Freshly remodeled. Upstairs unit available.

Parking was easy and room was super clean! The area was peaceful and quiet and lost of cool spots near by.

Quickest check in I’ve ever had, like 45 seconds. Room was compact and comfortable, all I needed as a single business traveler. It was relatively quiet, except a little street noise which stopped mid evening. Wi-Fi worked great for all my needs: zoom, movie streaming and other online work. I do wish they had microwaves in the rooms. Room was 8/10 cleanliness and was cutely appointed.

Clean. Quiet. Easy Parking. Water wasn’t hot enough, just warm enough for a quick shower. They can turn up the boiler a bit. Otherwise, overall the property is quite new; this is being written 2024-Dec-18

Second time staying here when having an early flight from the airport. Rooms are cute, modern, clean. Great location and easy parking.

Very good service. People are nice there. Room looks just like the pictures. You can tell they updated the rooms, but this is still a basic motel. The no fault part is 1. Location on a noisy street. 2. Others using this hotel: people passing through town, construction workers, groups who need to leave early in the morning and talk in the parking lot. This is not the fault of the hotel, just what a motel is used for.

Room definitely needs some TLC. Also the bed is probably the worst i’ve ever slept on. Extremely noisy. Worse than a pullout sofa bed. They are extremely strict about 3pm check in. Parking lot was well lit and lots of food nearby. OK for one night I suppose.

Nice layout but walls were a bit thin for my liking. My a/c didn’t work, drawers looked broken, had to fix the desk to open the closet, shower door didn’t close fully, and microwave is in lobby with access from 9am to 10pm. Staff was pleasant and cleaning staff was hospitable.

There just has no microwave and hair dryer.

The room I was placed in was disgusting. I doubt it had been truly deep cleaned in a long time. There was dust and crumbs on the night stand, splatter marks on the bed frame, splashes on the walls, mold in the bathroom and BUGS in the room. It also smelled like musty cigarettes when the AC was running. I will never be returning and will be telling everyone to stay away from this place. I wasn’t even in the room a full two hours and they refused to refund that first night, even though I checked out and showed proof of mold and cockroaches. They claimed that due to me being in there, they now had to clean before being able to book out the room. Meaning they were not and probably still are not planning to deep clean the mold or treat for the bugs. How horrible!!!!

Potential to be a cute place but the floor and baseboards were filthy! Clearly they were not vacuumed or mopped. Asked to have them cleaned and they still didn’t do it. Had to wait for them to “clean” the room when we came to check in at 4:30. Will never stay there again, even after they offered to discount our next stay and give us the best room. No thanks.

Staff was not friendly, the room had a smell and the shower floor was dirty that we did not feel comfortable showering. Probably not coming back but you get what you pay for.

Room smelled like urine

Room was very clean upon arrival, but in a 5-day stay, room was never serviced. Air conditioning didn’t work properly; the unit would keep shutting down, and not work, even when reset was attempted.

Room reeked of body odor. I asked to switch rooms and they said they were all booked but I don't understand how I couldn't have switched rooms if other people haven't checked in yet.. I tried opening the windows all night while having the AC on and NOTHING worked.. 2nd time having a bad experience here.

I booked this motel through hotels.com. I would never stay here again! The floors were clean-ish but looked dirty! We checked in and I wiped the floor and it the paper towel was dirty! Sheets had stains. Showers were only hot for a few minutes. Towels are cheap and never dried. Our smoke detector went off and wouldn’t turn off! The ironing board had a tear in the cover. Broken drawers. Dirty walls! Just got what others on hotels.com rated it. It’s a decent location, coffee shop across the street and places to eat in walking distance!

The parking was convenient and close to major attractions. Down side was that room service was only done once out of the 4 days I spent there.

I can not believe how highly rated this motel is on Travelocity. The room was extremely small. No closet but had metal knobs on the wall where you hung up clothes. In my room the small refridgerator was noisy when the motor kicked on & the air conditioner was also quite noisy. The people staying over mroom were walking back & forth which i heard every step. The walls were thin enough were you could hear them talkung. Also, not a great neighborhood where you would feel safe walking after dark. I would not repeat staying there again.

Extremely loud, unfortunately. The room itself is nice and so are the grounds, but the doors do not fully seal and so let in a lot of noise from the street. People slam doors all night long and the walls are so thin you can hear someone's phone buzz through said wall. There was a clicking in the ceiling (I was on the highest floor, the 2nd) as if someone was above, but I think it was just coming from the HVAC?

The room was clean and everything worked. The room is quite small and the appointments reminded me of a college dorm.

Great location, pretty quiet, clean room. Very bright lights outside of the room on the walkway with shutters instead of room darkening curtains. If you want/need a dark room, this isn’t the place. Beds and pillows are HARD AS ROCKS! Beware, unless you like sleeping on the equivalent of a camping pad on the bare hard ground, avoid it.

I liked the fact that everything was really close by (Costco, a great coffee shop across the street), and the room was immaculate. The A/C really helped keep the room cool and the internet worked as expected. The only downside was that the room was small compared to other rooms I have been in.

Very efficient little motel in a decent part of town. Only complaint is that the rooms can't be made dark enough

Honestly, I don’t care about the room size which was extremely small, but the bed is literally the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. I would not book a room here ever again.

Policy of not allowing check-in early, under any circumstances and when the parking lot is empty and rooms were plentiful, unless an extra fee of $10 was paid.

In addition to the room rate, a $200 hold is placed on your credit card when you check in. Guests do not know about this fee until they arrive at the property. Other hotels and motels on Expedia disclose this additional fee in advance, which allows guests to make a decision in advance, as to whether or not they want to book with the property. The $200 hold takes forever to be placed back unto your credit card. I'm still waiting 5 days later.

The front desk staff were truly the highlight of my stay—super sweet and accommodating, especially when I needed to extend my visit. Unfortunately, that's about where the good vibes ended. The photos of the queen room online must’ve been taken during the hotel’s glory days… or maybe they were just from a different hotel altogether. My room was run down, and none of the shown room amenities seemed to exist. The A/C had a dramatic streak—any time I set it to 70, it would shut off and trip the plug. One night, it even tripped the breaker for just the A/C, so it stopped working completely. No one was at the front desk at 6am when I left for work, so my husband called—and they sent someone into my room without even verifying his identity. Definitely a safety red flag. They got it running again, but I still couldn’t set it lower than 71 without risking another shutoff. Housekeeping was MIA for all 5 nights—no clean towels, no trash pickup. I asked for fresh towels and was handed just one. Also, there was a big gap under the door, so bugs had a free pass into the room. I ended up stuffing a towel there to keep them out. The location? Fantastic. The experience? Not so much. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it.

Service was excellent and they let us check in an hour early. Room was clean and very modern, up to date. We slept well comfortably. The Grocery store and places to eat close by. The place is easy access to the main major freeway and major shopping centers and restaurants close as well. Overall I was pleased with the value I paid and would stay here again.

Simple, straightforward and convenient location.

This hotel was nice and quiet. Food was walkable and a grocery store a short drive.

Not a great hotel, but relatively cheap. Stayed here on a Saturday for a quick day trip and it was fine. Rooms have a very modern look, but if you pay close attention there are some obvious issues. Here's a short list of what I noticed: bathroom door handle was falling off, shower door did not fully close, bathroom sink had some chips in it, clear dirt and dust in corners of room, door does not seal fully when closed, etc. Amenties are on the light side, but is located relatively close to a bunch of food/cafes and it's fairly easy to get to most of the main tourist places nearby (Japantown, Santana Row, Airport, Downtown and convention center). If you can get this place cheap and aren't staying long go for it, but I would not recommend this for families or for stays longer than 2-3 days.

Great place to stay. Close to everything In San Jose

Was surprised since it looks stuck in the 60's, BUT it was a totally intentional vibe with all updated stuff. Plus walking distance to University of Santa Clara.

All in all this little place is a great value for the money. The service is very friendly, the rooms were fairly clean, and everything is pretty much as advertised. This was the perfect place for my family. We weren’t planning to be staying around a hotel very much but out and about in the surrounding areas. We rented two rooms and had no issues. For some guest, who said that area was dicey I don’t know what the heck they were talking about. The area is just a normal business neighborhood, very safe and convenience to everything. There’s a really great little café across the street. I recommend this signature in and will stay again next time if I’m in the area and need a place to rest my head for the night.

Great food options nearby

Not much to say. One night stay for a legal meeting the next morning a few blocks down the street. Taciturn, perfunctory desk clerk. Minimalist room that was recently renovated and very clean. Bare bones but it’s got everything you need. Good place for a quick visit. One block from Santa Clara University. Lots of student food offerings across the street. The ramen dive is worth a visit on a cold night.

For a short term stay, this place is very convenient and nice. Everything was within fair walking distance, and if you needed other transportation such as bus or uber, it was easily accessible. Staff is good, the room itself was very modern and good enough for a quick trip. Overall a very satisfactory place to stay!

An older property that has been remolded. Good location- plenty of food options nearby. It is close to Santa Clara University Good value for price.

The room was fine,their no mircowave,breakfast and no extra.Basic room for staying over night.I had trouble with the tv and had to have remote changed,it seem i put the person out to fix issue otherwise room was ok.

Front desk during morning time was surprising. Very rude. I also went downstairs to order oatmael and it was beyond difficult to do that cuz no one spoke a word of English to a point that I had to try and use google translate. Correct me if I’m wrong but English is the primary language in this country right? After finally placing my order I asked for brown sugar for my oatmeal that was oats in hot water then placed in microwave for 12.00 and after 13 min of trying to find a way to translate what brown sugar is they finally decided to tell me WE DONT HAVE. which is crazy when you sold me steal cut brown sugar oatmeal. Then the don’t desk lady had the audacity to tell me if I don’t like it I don’t have to get it with an attitude is this acceptable from a four-star hotel you tell me?

Cute 70s themed and basic hotel stay. Clean and friendly staff. I barely got any hot water in the shower (it was in the hottest setting). Pretty thin walls as I could hear my neighbors upstairs in the pm and am. You need to ask front desk for hair dryer. No closet space. Staff were nice enough to accommodate a late checkout for me since I got there last midnight. Heads up- you’ll need to give a $200 deposit in cc which will be reimbursed 3-5 days after checkout. On the expensive side for basic stay.
