Vee Quiva Hotel & Casino

My family was in Arizona and we decided to stay at VeeQuiva where you can play and stay. You do you, yes. The children enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed the hot tubs and workout area along with gaming.

Very nice stay. Super friendly desk staff. Didnt use housekeeping but they seemed friendly as well. Hotel was quiet, even the casino was a little more quiet. The updated pool area was nice but didnt feel updated and new. There was stuff in the hot tub that could get fixed up. didnt use the pool, felt cold. The hours to the pool wasnt great...9am - 10 pm I believe. They also shut the fire pit off before 10.

The rooms are very clean and good size. Bathroom was roomy and really clean. Property is organized and updated. The pool and spa is nice and hardly anyone was using it so we were outside a few night's to play corn hole and have some drinks. Even the public restrooms in the casino and pool area where so clean.

Good location, reasonable rates, but property grounds were underdeveoped for resort status.Meal prices are higher than expected for the quality. Pool area is shaded in late afternoon with a warning sign at the pool for bees. That said, pool area is quite nice, large, clean. Bars may be closed seasonally. Supposedly a nonsmoking facility, but vending machines full of cigarettes.Extra charges, nickle-and-diming culture, few amenities give little incentive to leave casino - which probably leads to risking more money. The large, obvious, and sheer number of cameras everywhere will leave you feeling under constant surveillance.

I was disappointed in the pool bar being closed. Also it took a very long time to get a cocktail waitress while playing the slots. Not a great place to stay or the experience I was looking for.

Staff are super friendly — covered parking was far away from lobby, but otherwise a great experience!

Covered parking and the casino was well laid out, light and airy.

The beds were very comfortable. We stayed for four days. The first day we didn't need our room cleaned, but The floor was sticky in front of the dresser, and there was dirt on the floor in the bathroom. The toilet also needed cleaned, so we put the sign on the door for housekeeping. They only made the bed and emptied the trash. The floors still needed cleaned and nothing was wiped down, including the toilet, which I ended up cleaning. The next day the room was cleaned the same as the day before. I liked the room, casino and restaurants, but was very disappointed in housekeeping.

Every employee was super friendly and accommodating.The room was spotless. The linens and towels smelled like they just got out of the dryer, super clean. Loved everything about this hotel.

Other than a sock that was left in the room from a previous guest, it was a remarkable stay. The room was beautiful, the staff was helpful and friendly, the restaurants were great, and the casino was always hopping. Couldn't ask for much more.

Check in was quick and easy. Staff was friendly and attentive. Whenever we encountered an employee, they greeted us with a smile. For health reasons, we use sanitizing wipes when we check in and there was no dirt! Very good cleaning practices.

It was fine until we had no water in morning. They said it would b on by 7 am but it wasnt. Couldnt eat breakfast or get coffee. When water came back on it was brown. Couldnt take shower for my dr appt. I usually enjoy my stay. Not this time.

This is the cleanest hotel i have ever stayed at. From the front lobby to the rooms and even inside the casino. Not much around the area to do, but if you are looking for a very clean place to stay and modern, this is it.

While I didn't request housekeeping during my 4 night stay ,I thought it was weird they never serviced the room . It was weird taking my trash out everyday as who wants trash to build up in a hotel room . And I did go ask for more towels . But again thought it was weird to have to ask

Great stay overall, but a small issue. The only glitch was that our room wasn’t cleaned. On our second evening, I had to call and request housekeeping. Considering how few guests were staying at the hotel, it’s surprising that a high-end resort would skip cleaning a room, especially given the prices they charge. Aside from that, the casino was clean and full of modern gaming options.

The front desk staff greeted us immediately, and the room was immaculate, very clean.

The hotel was very clean and looked new. Rooms were spacious and very, very clean. Great staff and friendly house keeping.

The water pressure in the shower was not good. From the location of the room, you could hear everything that was going on in the hallway. You could hear when the staff was cleaning the bathroom in the room next to us. The place needs better soundproofing.

It was excellent from start to finish... The staff was professional, friendly, courteous and helpful...The casino is right next door to a nice cozy hotel and the rooms are wonderful with soft beds and a nice T.V. setup... My stay was everything I hoped it would be...

Bed very uncomfortable

Very comfortable bed ! Nice shower. Friendly staff . Need to mention there is no safe in tge room which is very odd at a casino location. Nothing close for dining and food at location is very overpriced.

I didn't like that the walls are super thin and you could hear all the doors slamming from other guests, loud talking and laughing and even chairs being dragged around as we were trying to go to sleep

Room was great, bed was comfy, room was clean and spacious however TV’s need to be upgraded.

We had a great stay, right down to the bed and pillows being very comfy! All of the staff were so polite and very efficient. The pool and hot tub were amazing and all of the food eateries were wonderful! We would stay here again!!! I could recommend adding a microwave, even if 1-on each floor, for all of the leftovers, lol. The bathroom is roomy and the shower is a great size, maybe add a shelf or two along with a handle bar near the toilet and in the shower.

Staff was perfect

Staff is very welcoming, always with a smile and a friendly greeting. Hotel was clean and comfortable.

The front desk service was horrible. Rudest front desk people I’ve ever dealt with. There was very little amenities for the price we paid. Fridge wasn’t even cold. The only workers we encountered that were polite were the housekeepers. Will never stay there again, ever.

10/10 would stay again. Customer service was outstanding. We had a slight plumbing leak and they offered to move us or send someone to try and fix it. We didn't feel like moving, within minutes the repair men were at the door. With a quick part replacement no more leak! It all probably took less than 25 minutes. The beds were comfortable, I would just suggest having two choices for pillows. One firm, one soft. The pillows are nice but they were too thick for me personally. The whole complex was very neat and clean, including the outdoor appearance. There were a few dining options in the casino which was pretty convenient. Big plus was the whole place was non smoking. They did have designated outdoor spaces for that, I believe.

The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Seriously. Whoever is managing them needs to get a Gold Star. Thank you guys!

We stayed one night for a birthday and we had a great time. The room we had booked sold out, so we were given a complimentary upgrade to a king suite that had a patio with access to the pool. The room was well decorated and spacious, it was very comfortable spending any time inside. We had plenty of dining options for dinner and late night snacks. It was a very busy Saturday night, but the entire staff remained professional, friendly, and polite. I would recommend to stay and would love to come back again

So the day i checked into my room had already started off bad. United Airlines had lost my checked bag. The room was great, however the last resident had left a few personal items. After informing the front desk, Cameron resolved my issues and went above and beyond what was expected. Making the rest of my stay more enjoyable. Thank you.

The staff was great from the time I came in till I checked out

Overall stay was great with exception of the last 20 minutes. As an executive of a large company I travel quite a bit both domestically and internationally and seen a lot. My stay was completely soured by the hotel front desk manager that got super aggressive with me when I did not leave my room at the 11am checkout time. I took a Microsoft Teams work meeting from my room that was suppose to end at 11am. I thought no big deal. The meeting went over 15 minutes and that’s when things went array. I got a loud door knock, loud voice yelling through the door before I could even open the door. When I answered the door their were 2 ladies standing their informing me check out was at 11. I told them I understood and I would grab my bags. This is when I was spoken to like child. Her comment was we’re going to stand right out your door until you leave. I felt terrible for staying the extra 15 minutes but knew I did not deserve this type treatment. It’s now 12 hours later and thinking that the normal clients must require this aggressive behavior to get results. I stayed here as I had meetings in the laveen area and there is not a lot of hotels to choose from. I travel to Phoenix 4 - 5 times a year and was tired of downtown scene and traffic. Probably won’t return to this hotel as I don’t like being treated in this manner. My hope is that this message will get to management and then discussed with the staff. Please just tone down the check process and don’t get personable

I paid for 2 nights with my service dog and was harassed until I left a night early. They wanted me to leave my service dog in the car at night. I couldn’t because that is when I need her the most.

The hotel was nice. The mountain view to the West from my room was excellent, with a beautiful sunset. The tables in the casino had a higher starting limit than I'm used to. The slot machines were very tight. Didn't win anything, so I'll be paying less to stay at a hotel without a casino next time.

My husband and I enjoyed staying at this property. It is small, quiet and friendly. The hotel is located right off the highway and it about 20-30 minutes drive to downtown Phoenix and about 15 min away from shopping areas. It is a great place to stay to be away from the hustle of the city. I wish they had more food options nearby; but we were sure to bring in what we needed, before we headed back in for the night. There is hardly anything in sight except for the beautiful mountains. The casino is nice and felt safe. The pool area is beautiful and has a fire-pit. We will definitely stay here again.

Vee Quiva was amazing, the staff is incredible and the location is stunning. It’s a little out of the way of Phoenix, but honestly that’s part of what makes it nice. Food options need work, as there is nothing else close by.

This Casino and Hotel were great for me. It's a little outside of town, but an easy drive to anywhere in the valley. I thought it was a very nice, new, clean facility and a beautiful view of the desert mountains.

All the staff from front desk to bar tenders were extremely friendly and I really felt they all love there jobs. If there was one thing that I would like to see improved is the drink service at the machines. The only way you could get a drink while playing would be to leave your machine and go to the bar to get it,

Casino on site was fun and the breakfast buffet was excellent!

Food choices could have been better, breakfast service starts at 8am, should be earlier. Prices were high for the quality of food served.

The hotel was extremely clean and modern. Would definitely stay here again. It would be nice if they had one more sit down restaurant.

Lacking in good food choices. Restaurant not open on Christmas Eve. Poor food court.

The hotel staff and room itself were a 5 star for sure. If you're going for the casino and food... DON'T!!! Food at the restaurants and food court were awful. The drinks at the bars were the worst!!!
