Faulty Towers! Not very clean, torn pillow cases, rubber fried eggs and plastic bread for breakfast. Shower very weak and hot and cold, TV precariously hanging on by a thread on the wall. Very nice and helpful staff.

Lovely OLD hotel but found staff and amenities scarce Breakfast was tasty but basic they could improve on bread options (brown bread was awful) and even though there is a lovely restaurant and cafe on the ground a simple tea and scone were not available Check out was 11 and we left our bags in a safe Locker but when we needed to collect them there wasn’t any staff on reception to open the room It took another staff member to make a phone call to get someone to help We just made our bus

Location is beautiful, check in was great. Our room had a lovely view but needed a proper deep clean and the furniture was stained and scuffed. Dinner was the worst we’ve ever had. Beef bourguignon was like soup with a few pieces of tough steak pieces floating in it. The portion of potatoes would not have been enough for a baby. The seafood chowder was watery, tasteless and the fish looked like it had been frozen for a long time. Breakfast was even worse. No fruit, there was one toaster(four slice) for everyone. The bacon was dried up and sitting on bread, the eggs were like rubber, the tomatoes were cold tomatoes sliced in half and the sausages and hash browns were deep fried. The only positive was the coffee. For such a beautiful location the hotel was a disappointment

Hotel really good. Staff good. Breakfast really poor. Ran out of everything. Tea and coffee station way too slow. Plates cold. Not the fault of the front line staff. Poor operations at a management level.
