Didn't like paying for parking! But I did like that it was very close to my daughters apartment for college.

They charge you 10 dollars to park in there lot.

Brand new hotel, nice fenced parking area, but it fenced for a reason. I felt a little uneasy in the neighborhood. Also my room smelled like cigarettes.

It was great the pool area was very crowded and the guest were very wild this was the only problem the hotel it self was exceptional. Will use this hotel again but not at spring break time

I booked two rooms for one night and nothing worked ie: room phones, cable/internet (wi-fi), ice machine. I complained to the front desk to no avail. The staff kept saying “we just reopened on Friday”. I feel the hotel should’ve remained closed until everything was in proper working order. I am a Choice Hotel club member and this was the absolute worst stay experience I’ve ever encountered. I can’t recommend this facility but I won’t spend my money here again.

This is a newly remodeled place is what they told us. That must be why they didn’t have ice on every floor. That was ok though because they had an actual refrigerator with a freezer and ice mold in your room. We made our own ice. The floors were filthy, they made our feet very dirty. The guest before us had spilled what looked like coffee all over the inside of the nightstand that I cleaned up. My family of 5 only had 2 towels, we asked for more. We had to ask for the sheets and blanket for the sofa bed. We stayed 2 nights, no one came and “refreshed” our room, so now we had zero towels. There was no hairdryer, no bag for laundry, no paperwork of any kind as to what was around the area, no sign to hang on your door, no pen or paper. This place just seemed to be not prepared. I dunno, maybe all the other hotels I’ve stayed at spoiled me. Pool was small and freezing, no hot tub. Breakfast was free, that was great. But the food was gross, especially the eggs. Don’t eat the eggs……even the boiled eggs made us raise an eyebrow wondering how they made “fake”and nasty tasting ones. You had to download an app to pay for the washer and dryer. But then you had to add money to it in increments of 5. It didn’t cost 5, so now we have a balance on this app that we will probably never use. Overall this place needs some work, but the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Hotel has been recently renovated, very clean, kitchenette with everything needed if you wanted to cook a little meal and a full-size fridge. Outside was a little sketchy, but very convenient to the hospitals downtown.

This was a nice and clean place to stay that was close to the college. Very, very nice and helpful staff, trying to do way too much with very little support. Continental breakfast was okay for the value (surprisingly good gravy and biscuits I must say!). The pool could have been a little cleaner (it really needs a going-over), but overall we were very happy with our stay.

would have been great but they need to do something about their elevators. Waited 5 minutes for an elevator to come back to the 1st floor.

No vending machines- all empty. Shampoo dispenser did not work. Room was freezing (62 degrees) upon entering. No plain coffee cream, all flavored.

The person working the front desk gave us an new room when we went to check out the new room someone was already in the room Now this room was not assigned to this person but the door was open so they just decided to claim the

Paid a very high rate (Taylor Swift Concert night) to basically just get ready for the concert for 20 minutes. Our room smelled like someone had been smoking in it for days, and there was a chewed up piece of gum on the floor in plain sight in our room. Disappointing because I knew the hotel and all hotels in the area were sold out, so I didn’t bother even trying to switch. We had already spent so much money on the hotel and concert and didn’t want to spend more, so my husband and I took turns sleeping and driving and we drove all the way back to Chattanooga, arriving home at 6am.

Our stay was pleasant. The property was well maintained and relatively clean. The staff was responsive, friendly and professional. I personally like that there was no carpet in our room. My only notable issue was regarding the collection of hair, lint and candy wrappers under the beds against the wall ( under the headboards) . My phone slid down to the floor under the headboard. When I retrieved it, I could see that the area had been ignored for quite some time. I checked the other bed and it too had the same issue. All things considered, we were very pleased with our stay.

Didn't seem like an area you would find a hotel in, it snuck up on us. Not a terrible area, but not great. Staff was awesome and friendly. Nice, large room, comfortable beds. Cleanliness was definitely lacking. We checked in at 3 am so I didn't say anything when we got there. I'm no clean freak but I went and got a package of Lysol wipes the next morning to wipe things down. Surfaces were dirty (obvious crumbs on nightstand and sticky spots) stains on mattress protector and bottom of the bed, and floors were dirty. If it were clean, I would give it a 9.

Cleanliness and proximity to downtown cinci

The room was very dirty,floors looked liked they were cleaned with dirty mop water and smelled the same.Hair in the bathroom sink and wiped on the walls next to bathroom sink and the kitchen counter had food on it by the stove,the road noise was loud all night from cars racing by.Besides the filthy room the rest of our stay was good they had a nice breakfast with a very nice gentleman who did great and the ladies at the front desk were also very nice and informative.The next the manager asked us at breakfast how our room was and I explained to her what was going on and she was not very impressed with her staff and was apologetic for the room and told me to stop by the front desk and she could give me a free night stay but it had to be for a different stay.

Filthy room, dirty washcloths hanging from the shower bar, wiry black hairs on the bath towels and counters, dirty sticky disgusting floors.

Room floor was filthy. Room and elevator smelled like pot. There was a black bug in my bed. Breakfast- eggs were out, gravy out, bacon out, apple juice out. This was at 8:45am. Only thing great was staff.

Nothing was unique, it was basic including breakfast. What I did not like was how thin the walls were, I heard too many people. Also the white comfortable on my bed looked like it was dirty on the underside like it had been stepped on and it was ground in dirt

Room on Reading Road quite noisy from road.

This hotel was great! It was very quiet, comfortable, and all the staff were very friendly. Plus the rooms were very spacious and clean.

The temperature in the room was 76 degrees the entire stay. The thermostat on the wall did nothing to adjust the temperature. I could not sleep because I was sweating all night; my hair was literally wet with sweat. I showered this morning and then continued to sweat and be miserably uncomfortable while getting ready. The temperature in the hallway was much cooler and I considered propping the door open just to cool down the room. When I went downstairs to ask about this, no one was at the desk. The breakfast was great this morning but there was no coffee. When I asked about coffee, the lady at the front desk said she was brewing more. I waited 20-30 min but eventually had to leave without coffee.

Property was properly and well maintained. The only hiccup was the TV in the room was not programmed and after 2 requests to help us with it a front desk employee finally showed us how to get the channels!!

This was the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel. Upon check-in, I had to pay $250 per room for incidentals which was not mentioned on any website. That $500 was more than I paid for the two rooms plus fees and taxes altogether otherwise. On check-in, we were handed a paper that said many of the rooms were having problems with the television and Internet problems and to let them know if that happened. Of course, our rooms were affected. One of the two rooms did not have a working television or telephone or stove. The other room did not have a working stove or microwave. All of the appliances have zip ties on their power cords so they could not be used including the coffee maker. There was trash, left in the bathroom and the bed sheets were dirty. None of the dishes were clean in the drawers. One of the rooms had been supplied with two open bars of soap, which is clearly unsanitary. Nut room also had two lightbulbs out on the outside walls of the room. Staff made the keys and active for both of my two rooms at 10 AM thankfully we found that out when one of our party went outside and couldn’t use their key. Check out is at 11 AM and when I told this staff, she just said they shouldn’t be. I assured her they were and she said that’s interesting. The ice machine was broken so they handed us a Ziploc sandwich size bag of ice they put in my hand without gloves. The breakfast consisted of fruit and empty containers for apparent warm food empty for 55 minutes. No restitution.

We loved our stay at Mainstay Suites!!! We were traveling with our 13 year old granddaughter and she LOVED the privacy of the kitchen and pull-out sofa bed being separate from our beds and bathroom. Everyone was super nice!!! The lady in the breakfast area, the guys at the desk and all the maids were extremely nice!!! There was one young black girl, must have been head of housekeeping, (I regret not getting her name.) she had such a welcoming spirit. Always smiling and giving an encouraging word. Even my granddaughters were impressed with this hotel. They asked if I could find another one like this at our next stop. Thanks for a GREAT stay!!!

Room was clean and spacious, staff were polite and everyone said hello 🤗

The stay was excellent the staff was warm friendly and welcoming anytime we came in we were greeted with a warm hello and asked if we needed anything when we left we were told have a great day have a good time staff was knowledgeable about the area and everything surrounding the hotel would definitely stay here again

There was no telephone in the room. You had to go down to the front desk with any issues. Most of the time, there was only one person or no one to help you. The neighborhood around the hotel was unsafe. I was charged an extra fee after checking out 2 weeks ago that I'm still getting the run around for concerning the reason for the charge.

50 minute wait to get our room because it was not ready at 8pm. Manager left the front desk to check on it and never returned and left a new employee to deal with the fall out of sad customers. Jaz was very kind and apologetic . Breakfast was meh . No fruit or yogurt. Hot food was not replenished for the busy breakfast rush. We wish there were chocolate chips for the waffles or hot chocolate to sip on.

Very nice staff, room very clean, updated. Great breakfast also! Highly recommend! Will be staying again when in Cincinnati.

the hotel okay the room was not ready when we went to check in 7:30 pm when the check in could have been done at 4:00 pm and it was not us was many people. also there was one only checking people in. we had to wait for 20 minutes and also had to wait for the room to be ready

I wish I caught the woman’s name at the desk, she was there at our check in on June 10 @ 4pm, and was very polite, when we had arrived back from an event we came across an issue in our room & she immediately had us taken care of! Very sweet and even though she was super busy every time we seen her, she Always had a smile on her face !

All of the front desk staff were friendly. The hotel was centrally located to all of the downtown activities we had planned so it was easy to come and go.

Property is in a challenging area. Several trucks were broken into while I was there. Hotel staff were excellent but my room had sticky floors...

Excellent front desk personnel. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was minimal but the area was clean. We didn't like that there is a $10 parking fee to park on the lot. The immediate area looks dismal with lots of foot action.

Check in was a breeze. The building is very up to date and was very inviting. The parking lot was great as well. I enjoyed my stay! It was a quick ride to and from the ballpark.

Overall a good stay. Had a few problems that the hotel took care of. Floors need mopped. Breakfast was a disaster.

Great location close to University of Cincinnati and the Zoo. Quiet and clean. Offers a very nice breakfast buffet too!

They stay was nice the rooms were spacious only thing I didn’t like was the power in our room wasn’t working but the manager on duty was so attentive and we gotta extra room free of charge and they free breakfast was pretty awesome I’m daughter loved it I will definitely be returning
