Key cards did not work at all, Dirty, stained hallway carpets and stained furniture fabrics in the room, light bulbs out on the table lamp. Room layout, no 2nd nightstand on the opposite side of the bed. Flimsy security lock on the adjoining room door, could have been defeated very easily by an unscruplus actor. Bed too close to the AC/Heat unit vent with no access to manuver between the bed and the wall without having to either disturbing your spouse's sleep or contorting by sliding down the bed towards foot board. Security doors leading to outside had no working locks and finally no dog disposable bags in an empty dispenser. N:B - Good points, ample lighting, marble foors and counter tops, updated bathrooms, laminated floors, working AC, clean room enviornment. Seems like the property is under some renovation, keep updating furniture and security to take it to the next level. Thank You & Good Luck!

There were cigarette butts all around the entrance and it smelled of smoke. The lobby was dirty. All the landscaping was overgrown with weeds and the parking lot had garbage all over. The hallway by our room smelled of pot and some kind of cleaner. We sat in the room for about 30 minutes while I looked for another place to stay. We booked somewhere else and immediately checked out. You couldn’t pay me to stay there.

It was absolutly disgusting from the minute we drove in the parking lot where there were several abandoned cars. The outside doors were proped open and the secuity lock brocken. The was a bad odor throught the place, the floors were sticky in the room, there was an extremely beat up disgusting couch in the room, the bathroom door was stuck in a half open position and it had dingy lighting (one lamp didn't even work). Then they charged us double what we signed up for becuase a Harley Davidson convention came in to stay and they raised the prices for that. Overall an extremely bad experience. Never, never, never stay there!

We (Seniors) were given a room on the 2nd floor. The elevator was broken. The tv did not work. We were told to reset the remote. Tried but could not. Called the front desk, no answer. We were leaving the next morning so we just let it go. At “breakfast” no juices and cheap little pastries. I will say the people were nice and the room was clean.

Bathroom sink basin filled immediately but had no stopper. Grimy bed linens; desk staff kindly gave me replacements then discovered unpleasant stains all over mattress cover. Non-working telephone; moved table & found an empty bottle & jack unusable. Unsafe unlocked exterior doors. Trash & debris around property & parking lot. And all this is such a shame, since the location on the river could be maximized with minor improvements.

Booked two nights but we were so disgusted with this property that we left after one night. The pictures show a riverfront setting, but since the bar was not operational, nobody could enjoy the view. It should be called the "Parking Lot View Hotel". The security doors were propped open all night - we did not feel safe. The room was barely adequate, but due to a supply shortage there was no Kleenex. Stay away - stay far away.

The first room we were given was uninhabitable. The smell was horrendous, there was debris on the floor (easily caught with a vacuum), the beds were dirty and had torn sheets, and the chair had what appeared to be many bodily fluid stains. The front desk employee was very understanding and gave us “the cleanest room.” Because this was the handicap accessible room, she claimed it wasn’t used as much and was in much better shape. The room was cleaner and did not smell as bad but had a very bad humidity issue. We opted to stay in the room for the night as it was getting late. After waking up in the morning and inspecting more, the bathroom vent fan had been removed at some point, not allowing proper ventilation and adding to the bad humidity problem. After looking around in the daylight, we discovered mold growing on the shower curtain (the mold smell was horrible after opening the curtain) and mold growing on the carpet. I’ve stayed in not nice hotels before but this was a health hazard. DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL!

It was close to where my my uncle's house is was the only thing good. Stained sheets, stained towel, only 1 towel in room for 3 people. The fridge froze my food even with changing the temp. One bed has to be fixed in order for my son to sleep on it. The frame was messed up. Every time we sat on the toilet seat, there was a loud bang sound. In the shower was left the prior person that stayed soap and wrapper on the shower shelf.

The property was a dump. The hallway carpet was dirty. In the room there was no place to hang a shirt or coat, no rack no closet. The table lamp on the desk had no lampshade. The door had no security latch. There was no toilet paper holder in the bathroom and the over the mirror light fixture was loose and hanging crooked. The flooring was all vinyl plank and had not been cleaned. I could see wet footprints and wet smudges on the floor. The coffee table had a wet smudge across it and the refrigerator was dented up and sitting on top of the dresser even though it was a floor model. Wyndam should revoke the franchise license for this place, it was disgusting.

Filthy carpeting everywhere there was carpet. Older run down building. Light in room flickered. Toilet seat screws loose and needed tightened by over an inch. Room had slight tobacco smoke smell at first and high air humidity. Lobby smelled of marijuana smoke when I arrived to check in. Dog inside a nearby room barking a lot. Now the bad...bathroom lacked a ceiling fan and had several flying gnats in it aa well as a centipede running around in bathtub. Room furniture appeared dirty and was dated. The bed sheets were however nice and clean. Room air conditioner was old and seemed to hesitate at times while operating. Outdoor construction everywhere near building. Unsightly river about 50 feet from back of building. Exterior door constantly open for guests to go outside and smoke. Overall the place was unsightly and dirty. I highly recommend the hotel for my enemies.

Waited an extra two hours for our room because the cleaning staff was running behind. Once we got into our room it was still dirty, there was dried blood on the sheets, the ac leaked so bad there was a puddle under it, there were dirty towels in the bathtub, the couch was dirty and had old food inside of it, the halls smelt so strongly of weed. Would not recommend this hotel.

Online pics are deceiving. Outside doors were wide open, full trash cans at each door, hallways dirty, room floor dirty, no chairs for table that had a chunk missing out of the corner, missing microwave, wobbly toilet, tv remote filthy with batteries taped into it. Not to mention the woman across the hall screaming at and spanking her kids. Only plus was the bartender. He was AWESOME!

Property was super dirty and had bad odor. Although the they say no smoking people we’re smoking marijuana and making lots of noise that we we’re not able to get any rest. The price for this hotel is a lot for what they have to offer. The rug was stained and it had bad odor too.

This property should be condemned. There were bed bugs, stains, dented lamp shades. Something out of B rated horror film. Expedia description said bar, not. Rooms smelt terrible. Probably the worst hotel I have ever checked into. Wyndham....sooo dissapointing.

When I walked in it had smelt like stale cigarettes. Once I had walked into the hotel room it was dirty and had small piles of dirt I mistakenly thought was bed bugs. Black mold on the ceiling light, and drips of what looked like a week old barbecue sauce. I asked the front desk if I could have my room cleaned and I was told that room service would be there to clean in the morning for me although I was staying one night. For 150$ you’re better off camping, going to a motel or just sleeping in your car. I had also accidentally put in the wrong dates and never showed up for one of the nights and the staff hadn’t given me a refund or helped at all wasting another 100$

I did like the river behind the hotel that was very nice to look at but paid extra for a deluxe with a jetted tub and a river view. There was no river view only what looked like was maybe a pool or jacuzzi that was either being dug up or put in. Didn't even open the blinds it was disappointing. Then the jetted tub half worked, the hot water was luke warm and the handle about fell off when trying to turn it on. Buttons to control it didn't work at all, receptionist was no help. Definitely false advertisement and wish i hadn't spent that extra money I'd just gotten a regular room. I should get reimbursed since i didn't get what i paid for but that's highly unlikely they're will just be an automated message saying I'm sorry blah blah blah after my review and that'll be it. No accountability held they don't care they already got their money and that's all that matters. So word of advice DO NOT get the deluxe you'll waste your money!!!! Just get a regular room.

Total failure - everything in a room was either broken or gross, and the hallway stank, and the creekside view was a joke, and the housekeeping staff skipped my room. You should consider removing this property from your offerings.

The entry and corridor experience was … sketchy. But the room has good AC, is as clean as to be expected for this price point, and the bed is super comfy. Bathroom fixtures could stand re-caulking, and the sofa is a bit dingy. But hey, it’ll be fine for one night.

The hotel misrepresents itself as having a waterfall feature and no rooms even face it. You have to walk around the building down a beaten dirt path to see it. There are clearly people living here and they were loud outside and inside the hotel. There were people popping fireworks 20 feet from our window. The facility is run down but appears like someone is trying. Our room was ok but the sheets felt damp and gross so we had to go and get new ones. The carpet was worn and there was a large strip just exposing the bare floor. It felt gross to our feet so we wore shoes the whole time. There was a party going on in the conference room that we could hear from our room on the other side of the property. We felt unsafe because strange people were just hanging out around the hotel and looked suspicious. I would not stay here again. The only reason we did is cause it was late and we were exhausting.

Property is not maintained at all. We were given a room that was not cleaned. Second room had stains on carpet, drapes and lamp. Found water bugs in bathroom. Hotel employees seem to not understand the computer system and our room was also given to another guest. If we had not bolted the door they would have walked in on us sleeping which is not safe. Hotel was sold out because of some festivals in Milwaukee so there was not any other options. I do not recommend this property.

We were in town for a family reunion and wanted to stay overnight so we didn’t have to drive back to Chicago too late. Upon check in I was informed that there was $100 incidental fee and was to be paid in cash only. I never carry cash and their atm machine was broken so I had to go across the street to draw out cash. I only checked in at 3pm but left to head back to the reunion which was 15 mins away. I ended up dropping my adult daughter back off at the room because she wasn’t feeling well and she said the linen on the bed had stains on them and the bed had spots on them. The bathroom had a used rubber band with hair attached on the bathroom sink and the hotel itself smells. The entry lock to the room was wobbly as if someone kicked it in before. I went back to pick her up and went to check out. The guy did offer another room but no because now in my mind, the whole hotel is nasty. Tried to get my deposit back and the front counter guy stated I had to wait until the morning which was an inconvenience because I stay 2 1/2 hours away. So I ended up driving home and having a relative pick up my deposit. When I spoke to the manager Twana the next day, she didn’t seemed bothered by why I couldn’t stay when I mentioned the room was dirty.

It started by standing in line at the desk for check in and listening to the housekeeper leaning on the counter complaining about other staffers. More chatting with each other not the guests. Then when we got back to the hotel that night we discovered the phone didnt work to call front desk, and tv didnt work. We had to call the 800# to call the front desk to ask if their was a trick to the tv. She had no clue and asked if we wanted to switch rooms, to which we said no since we were unpacked and in our pajamas. She said i dont know what you expect me to do about it, I suggested she offer a reduction in my room fee. She was very rude, told me she only worked there nights to pay her bills. Not great customer service at all. Definitely will not recommended or return.

The front desk girl was excessively RUDE. I called 1 hour ahead, we were arriving an hour ahead of schedule. I was told "im NOT checking anyone in before 3 o clock." Then we get there check in, theres a broken piece to the sofa bed, and hairs on the bathroom sink. My DISABLED husband walked to the desk, asked SAME lady where the ice was... she says "2nd floor and NO we dont have an elevator" he walks with arm crutches... the rudeness was appalling. She sat down while checking me in, never stood no direction to my room nothing. Definitely rethink before booking again.. if it wasnt paid already we would have stayed somewhere else.

I booked and paid for 2 rooms. When we got there they said they only had 1 room left. We needed a room so we said ok. The room they tried to put us in already had people in it. The person at the counter was not helpful at all. All I could do was cancel my booking and wait 15 days for my refund.

She cancelled the room before we even checked in so I had to pay for another room and for no refund for her canceling the room. Just because I didn’t check in at a certain time doesn’t mean you cancel it. She could have called me before canceling it but now instead I’m out $75

The room was clean, smelled liked disinfectant, A/C was set to read in Celsius which was confusing. The staff were helpful but were not professionally dressed and lounged back in their chairs like they were taking a nap. The outside grounds were not well maintained and had a general rundown feel to the place. I made the mistake thinking the name "Water's Edge" meant Lake Michigan not a small stream behind the hotel. It was convenient to eating places.

This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed at. When we got to the room, it was evident that the staff did not properly clean it. The comforter was stained with what LOOKED like blood, and the were dirty towels hanging. Our room was stocked with nothing but a half used roll of toilet paper, and I had to listed to the staff argue with another guest for 30 minutes before finally giving us another roll. I’m INCREDIBLY dissatisfied and disappointed with my stay. They also had no breakfast options, and had very loud parties goin on both nights.
