The Delaney Hotel

This hotel is awesome! The bar downstairs has a great vibe, delicious food, and an excellent happy hour. As EV drivers, we really appreciated being able to fully charge our car before heading home. The hotel is dog friendly, and our room was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our stay. The staff and bartenders were incredibly kind and welcoming. Highly recommend staying here!

I’ve stayed here many times and it’s always very clean and the front desk staff is super nice and friendly. The food at Delaneys tavern is great and it’s always fun when they have a movie or game showing on the big screen outside.

Excellent service and wonderful hotel restaurant with a fantastic bar. Beautiful updated room with great in-room amenities. Microwave and gym on property. Refrigerator in room and nice coffee machine. Free coffee in lobby everyday. Will return when in Orlando!

Pros: Good location-close to highway/food/shoppimg. Nice rooms. Electric car charging station. Parking garage conveniently located behind hotel (free with my hotel stay -they may charge otherwise) Cleanliness- modern bathrooms Temperature-air quality very good Cons: Location-on a one way street surrounded by construction lobby doors weee open 24 hrs -Also a room key was not to access the elevator so that didn’t feel very safe - so anyone can walk on a come up to the rooms You can hear everything in the hallway - housekeepers were very loud and talkative during cleaning/AM hours also our room was located next to the exit door so we could hear it slam closed every time someone entered or exited Beds were okay

I didn't like the intial parking situation, once I figured that out, the the rest of the stay was without question one of the most pleasant experiences.

Nice place. Suite was huge; l’d probably have been happy in a regular room! The living room area needed better lighting. Comfortable bed and pillows. I’m surprised by how much I enjoyed the in-mirror clock—no, really! Convenient parking. Could use better signage to point out the hotel entrance among all the medical offices. Nice staff. Great in-room coffee. Only thing missing was a pool. Recommended!

The only restaurant closes at 9pm so does the bar I’ve never seen a bar close so early. I had a late flight by the time I got to the hotel everything was closed very inconvenient. Question are you open for customers or for your employees convenience just wondering.

2-story hotel on top of a Delaney Tavern on a main road surrounded by healthcare buildings. The parking is structure behind hotel and convulted to get to and out. Beds were too soft. Otherwise all ok.

This property is very nice and well decorated. Had a sour smell in the lobby area. Thankfully the rooms didnt smell like that. But its very nice and quiet. Loved it here.

Our stay was a short overnight stay. The hotel is well maintained, the rooms are very clean and the bed perfectly fine. Good value for money.

I think the hotel stay was good. It was the holiday weekend so I did not hear any construction. The room was fine. The bathroom and shower was modern. I personally don’t like to see mildew in my bathroom shower, b frfďbh and when I did it was a turnoff. Other than that it was great.

The room was very clean. We loved the size and modern quality of the bathroom and amenities.

Everyone is nice and accommodating. The hotel is exceptionally clean.

This hotel bed have ‘bad bug’ . My legs and whole body right now all little red rash. And very inch. I don’t know how the get so many good reviews. Don’t trust this hotel . The old lady at front desk try to charge me $20 for parking per day . The machine shows only $6 if you pay parking by self .after I show her my book includes parking . She stop talking .

Our room #19 was next to the gym. You could hear the machines and people talking when it was in use. Additionally, there were no towel rods installed in the bathroom. The room itself was fine.

Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for the hospital I had an appointment at, walking distance. The attached restaurant was an absolute bonus and a great place to eat. Room was very clean and spacious. The only negative I would say is the hall/mirror area of the room didn’t have lights so it was very dim if that is important to anyone. I will definitely come back to this hotel.

The hotel was a nice boutique establishment. It was very clean. It had modern upgrades. The bed was super comfortable. The service was great. I read some of the other views about the walls being very thin and you are able to hear the ambiance all night. I will agree that the walls are thin. We could clearly hear the people next to us conversation clearly. They were not loud. You can hear the ambulance sounds and city sounds. Honestly, I live in Miami so I’m accustomed to the sounds of the city. You can absolutely hear your neighbor’s conversation. Again not a deal breaker for me. The hotel has a restaurant. The food was mid. If you don’t want to leave the hotel it’s not a bad option but the food is just okay. There is a Scratch Kitchen that is in the same compound of the building that the hotel is in (not affiliated with the hotel), the food there is amazing! Also the hotel is right downtown. So food options are readily accessible. The hotel has a parking garage and parking was free. You can access in and out with your hotel key. I really enjoyed my stay. Definitely a 8.6-9 out of 10. Took off points for the thin walls. I will definitely stay there again!

The bed was very comfortable. The shower was large with a rain head fixture that was the best I've ever had. There was an espresso maker in the room that was delicious. The parking was easy and safe. I'll definitely stay at the Delaney again!

Presently the roads just outside the hotel are being worked on which made it a bit difficult to get to the parking garage. Not the Hotels fault just thought it was worth mentioning. The hotel it's self is very nice. The rooms were exceptionally clean and very modern looking. My family and I all agreed though the sliding Barn Door for the bathroom was not ideal since you could see into the bathroom from the hallway as well as see out. We had planned on eating at the restaurant inside the hotel but the prices were on the high end of the scale so unfortunately we did not get to try out what looked to be five star meals. Overall though I was happy with my stay and would recommend it to anyone who wants the 5 star experience.

Beautifully appointed rooms, very spacious and with the usual amenities. The hand soap dispenser in the bathroom was particularly appreciated. No more wasted little bars! My only quibbles were that the shower ledge leaked a ton of water into the bathroom, and the room entryways aren’t sound proofed. When a neighbor entered their room, it sounded like they were coming into ours.

Not a fan. The AC was on full blast no matter what I did with the thermostat resulting in a freezing cold room. The hot water in the shower was shockingly hot and you cannot make it cooler. The place has potential but I won’t be coming back

Electricity went out and Bryant was very rude, I understand it’s a whole property problem, but the way he said it’s you and everyone else, didn’t offer anything for the inconvenience. Also they are fixing street in front, overall for the price we should have stayed closer to the center. The room and shower seems updated. Housekeeping didn’t service room and when I asked for extra towels that’s what they said, weren’t you serviced… only lady overnight was nice and girl who checked us in, that was it.

Everything was excellent! Very clean and front staff very welcoming. Rooms were very spacious. The restaurant though the staff needs to work better on “teamwork” and covering each other. Brunch took foreverrrdr to be served and it wasn’t even full.

The woman who checked us in was extremely friendly and helpful. Smiling the entire time and went out of her way to make the check in fast and easy. The best hotel experience I have ever had.

As a frequent traveler, I have encountered my fair share of hotel experiences. However, my recent stay at The Delaney has been, by far, the worst. We only chose this hotel because it was a short drive to the arena as we were in town to attend a concert. Parking was adequate, as was the room. The real issue starts when we checked out. I unfortunately left behind 2 black bags with clothes and belongings in the room. We didn't realize this until that night. Once we realized this, we immediately called the hotel. We explained the situation and the staff seemed disinterested and dismissive, informing me that they would 'look into it.' After waiting for hours with no update, I contacted them again. They kept brushing me off and informed me they would contact the 'cleaning manager' to investigate. They finally reached back out to me to let me know that the staff did in fact see the bags but said the bags were trash. In no way, shape or form would those bags be confused with trash. After telling me this, they said the bags were nowhere to be found. The hotel management, of course, reluctant to admit fault, won't admit that their cleaning staff stole my bags. Now I have to file a police report and try to pursue compensation. The lack of security and blatant disregard for guest privacy at The Delaney is appalling. I strongly advise travelers to avoid this establishment at all costs. The staff is dishonest and untrustworthy, and your belongings are not safe in their hands. If you hav

I decided on The Delaney for several reasons and nothing n no small part the good reviews. I guess I was unlucky, the day I arrived I unfortunately had to interact with the front desk which was an utter disappointment. I have a lot of experience in hospitality and customer service and the young girl in charge of the front desk should not be there. Who knows, maybe she was having a bad day but she definitely made my first interaction with the hotel a bad one. Other than that everything else was as expected and in many cases reviews were accurate. When it was there me to check out luckily another person was in the front desk and she definitely was what one would expect in a hotel front desk.

I will never stay here again. The gentleman who was at the desk was rude and had no business working in hospitality. I actually felt unsafe and threatened. If I had not paid I would have left immediately to another property. I always eat at the restaurant, but I needed to leave the hotel. It was very weird. And I was scared.

The property was very clean and we felt safe. Easy to find and parking was convenient. Staff was very friendly upon arrival and during checkout. The outside street was a little noisy in the night on the 3rd floor facing the hospital.

The hotel is centrally located but in a weird neighborhood - opposite a large hospital, hood adjacent, but near some posh areas of downtown. Hotel is overpriced considering.

the restaurant and hotel were awesome. unfortunately it across the street from a hospital and you hear sirens and life flight at all hours.

We stay at this hotel to attend a show at the Phipps theatre downtown. It was a very short Uber ride to the show. Room was clean and staff was very friendly.

Great location and easy access to the main roads. The Tavern was comfortable and the food was excellent. Only downside was loud noise from upstairs neighbors at early hours and road noise during late night/early morning hours. We would stay here again.

Great location. Not many options within walk in distance, but with uber or rented car you can reach the nearby areas.

I was very excited about this boutique hotel, upon arrival and the dirty parking garage then entering the lobby I got a sinking feeling. Nothing seemed as pictured. The lobby and halls going into the rooms is old and somewhat unkept. Once entering the hotel room the room was beautiful and spotless. Highend bathroom and comfortable bed. We ate in the restaurant/ bar, the service was fantastic and the food was was good, again bar area a bit dated but the best bourbon selection we have ever seen for a hotel bar. Over all nice stay and very easy but the first impression sticks with you.

The Delaney is very nice. It’s in a medical district away from the theme parks, etc.

Love the hotel and restaurant, not so happy with there not being enough oversized vehicle parking spaces.

We got there around 2pm, 1hr early for check in, but the front desk looked up and he gave us the room that already ready. He also explained how the parking garage works with pictures. The room was spotless, complimentary bottles water plus fancy coffee machine with real coffee cups and saucer. We were so impressed! The restaurant bar on 1st floor was also great. Food was delicious, we spent a couple hours there. The restaurant manager, front desk, and housekeeping people, everyone greeted us. I have zero complaints, I'd love to stay there whenever I visit the area.

Travel constantly for work and this is by far my favorite place to stay in Orlando ...quiet , clean, out of the congestion, away from the Disney crowds , great restaurant and bar ... anand

Room was clean and adequate. Limited view, surroundings. The highlight was the Delaney Tavern on site; wonderful food and service. Location is far from our daily excursions. Overall, we enjoyed our time together there.

The Delaney was wonderful! Easy and close proximity to the Kia Center. The staff, room and property were amazing. The Delaney Tavern’s food and staff were exceptional! Definitely will return for another stay.

This is probably the 8th time staying in this hotel. It’s wonderful. Always a great choice. The restaurant in the hotel is great too. Food is consistently good as is the service. Amir who works in the restaurant was so eager to please. Friendly, professional and a good server.
