We made a reservation. I have a 9 year old autistic son who loves to swim. We traveled two hours only to be told the pool was closed. Ok fine we will deal with it. Later the AC thermostat wasn’t correct. 70 degrees felt like Siberia so throughout the night it needed to be manually turned off. Also the when it was running the motor sounded like it was on its last legs.

It was fine. No real complaints. Breakfast was fairly nice. Suggested improvements: - don't have the TV on when I enter the room for the first time - lobby smelled weird. No clear suggestion there. - heater in my room didn't work great. It was warmer in my room when I had the heater off. It was also a loud heater. - extra blanket in the room would be nice. - more outlets in the room... I had a hard time finding any and there weren't any near where the coffee maker was

Staff was nice and breakfast was decent. The facilities need a major upgrade. Our air unit was SO noisey all night. Our room smelled when we entered. Wallpaper was peeling off. The bathroom had NO fan, products were empty. It didnt seem all that clean.

We loved the hot water and pressure in the shower. When we walked in to the property we said Hi twice before it was said back. Housekeeping lady blocked the elevator then when the door closed she moved and said you should of ran for it. The Woman who did breakfast was nice. Breakfast wasn’t much though. Our room; hair in bed, damp sheets and rug. Got out of the shower and was walking around in the bathroom and had to clean the bottom of my feet. Wiped bathroom counter and rag was dirty. Also wallpaper in bathroom was peeling. Shower curtain had mold on it. We paid for a King suite that had a sofa and was given regular king room that was cheaper but paid for the other. Pool did not look clean.

Room sizes are nice and the beds are very comfortable. They have a small pool and a patio outside and a small gym next to the pool. The breakfast was pretty good too. It is about 25 minutes away from the Raystown Lake and Marina and the 1000 Steps Hike.

Stayed here as point for outdoor recreation nearby (state forests, state parks, raystown lake). Convenient spot right near gas station and shopping center, but yet separate enough away from them with some views of nearby mountains. Room was very clean, pleasant christmas decor in the lobby, nice staff and super quiet. Will definitely stay here again when returning to the area. I just wish Fairfield Inn & Suites offered rooms with full kitchen similar to Town Place Suites.

While the lobby and staff were nice, the room floors smelled like smoke, as did the room we checked into (3rd floor, odd number). It was overwhelming. We checked in later in the evening so we were too tired to do anything about it. Had to keep air fan running as if we didn’t it felt like the smoke smell would get stronger every time the AC came back on. There were “this property is smoke free” in the room and elevators….. clearly not very well enforced.

We were given a first floor room and guests were in the lobby until 2:30 am. Talking and carrying on so loudly- worst night sleep ever. The accommodations were fine but you think the desk would've done something about the noise. The guests carrying on in the lobby acted as if they were the only ones there

We were there for a college graduation and had to leave early on Saturday morning to get to the ceremony. Although breakfast hours were advertised to start at 7:00 on Saturday, everything was open and ready by 6:45, which was a welcome surprise!

The shower was WAY to hot, got charged twice for the same stay, electrical outlets didnt work. The expectations I had for the price I paid was very discouraging. The price is 5 star price but the hotel itself is 2.5. It felt like i would have been better off paying the same price for the motel down the road because it gave the same vibes, was just not up to my expectations whatsoever.

My son has recently begun attending juniata, and as we live about four hours away, I tend to stay in a hotel. I’ve stayed here twice and had good experiences both times. It’s clean, comfortable, quiet and in a central location (Walmart across the road, etc). Would happily stay here again.

It was a pretty good stay, my only concern is that the breakfast was exactly the same all days and I stood a week, so after several days you get tried of the same thing egg and pork sausage. But overall, very clean, staff very polite and friendly
