Spacious older property. Very quiet. Love the sun bathing area on the water. The room served its purpose while passing through. The water pressure needs improvement. Also there is NO elevator so plan accordingly.

A nice quiet property. Plenty of parking.

Cute oceanfront retreat. Beach isn’t great for swimming or wadding but is great if you bring a boat or paddle board. Pool is beautiful and makes up for the lack of ocean access. Highly recommend staying here

Family cabin was ok, a bit run down and lots of bugs. Property was beautiful, great location and pool. Very strict about visitors and lots of rules. Restaurant and bar on premises are closed.

Our room was spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. Resort as a whole was well-maintained and offered tiki bar, beach, pool, ping pong, weight room, etc. Staff was friendly and helpful. Left before breakfast so can't comment on that other than it doesn't open until 9:00.

Great, large property location. It has potential. Docks are broken, cannot dock a boat. Pool is amazing! Room was dirty, old and stinky. Room rate was over $300. Not worth it.

Great place to stay! It’s quiet and on the ocean. Every thing is clean and the service from staff was great. Not much going on while we were there at the resort but lots to do around Islormada. If you’re looking for a quiet place along the ocean and a pool this is it (no beach access). We stayed two nights and enjoyed the time with Coconut Cove.

The staff was very friendly, the pool area was beautiful, and the property grounds were nice. But the rooms and cottages, although very clean, were run down and in serious need of updating. Beds and plumbing were terrible. There is NO BEACH (like the pictures show), no bar, no marina, and their breakfast is poptarts and granola bars!

The rooms are a bit dated, but everything was clean and secure. The grounds were immaculately maintained and we spent a fair amount of time at the pool and lounging on the beach. Great central location, quick drive to many bars and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Room was littered with mouse droppings upon arrival. Manager refused a refund. I can’t believe Expedia still allows this business to list on their site.

Property is old and room didn’t seem very clean. There was a musty smell in the room. No hangers in closet. Furniture very old.

The manager that checked us in is really nice, the pool & the beach are nice junk on property, the room conditions were horrible. Entry to the rooms smalls of cat urine from the stray cats everywhere, beware, they will try to get in your room. They pissed on one lady’s pillow.We had sand on our floor when entering had no place to put our stuff. Couch sleeper looked like it was from Walmart had stains on it that were so disgustingly gross that we couldn’t put our bags on it, the bathroom has no counter space except for a cheap little cupboard over the toilet which is not good your toiletries can fall into the toilet, my husband was trying to get his flip-flops that slipped under the bed, that was a bad mistake. It is so disgusting under the bed with the liner of the boxspring hanging down and underneath that was so filthy, dark black dirt it has not been cleaned in so long we had a bed that only had one sheet and it was not a fitted sheet. I got bit every night from either fleas from the cats or bedbugs Our air conditioner did not work , if you know Florida you need it it also had a sign on the thermostat saying you cannot, turn it below 70° or the air conditioner, will freeze up, we stayed in room 14. It is so close to a kids area with stinky couches and a ping pong table with 12/13 year olds banging around late at night. the walls are paper thin you can hear everything, you can tell it used to be a charming place it needs a lot of work I would not recommend.

We checked in at 6:00 pm after traveling by motorcycle all day. Had to wait 15 min for someone to show up in the checkin area. Our room was horrible. Bathroom ceiling and vents had black mold. Ants crawling around the tub and shower. The sliding door had lost its glass seal so you couldn’t see through it. The curtain for the door was missing holders so it just dropped down. Tv remote didn’t work. Overall very disappointing stay. Expedia should not be recommending this facility.

Family Suite bathroom was extremely small. Entire property felt dated and not what i expected for the price. Friendly check in.

We paid wayyyy too much for our nightly stay. We were told no pets allowed and were forced to spend extra for our pet overnight boarding only to see couple of folks walking around with their dogs we saw 4 cats on the property. We paid over $250 for the night and despite us confirming two twin beds during booking we had one full bed and a VERY uncomfortable futon to contend with that gave me a very bad back the next day. Horrible!!!! I want my money back!!!!

The room was clean and staff was friendly. The room needs updated. The bed was full size not queen. The fridge leaked and no one came to look at it. Be prepared to climb a lot of steps if on the third floor. Pool is nice and sunrise view is a must see.

It's a charming property but needs updating and maintenance. The photos are a bit misleading. No ocean swimming. Wooden boardwalks, dirty. Futon couch in the room was old and so uncomfortable. Could be fantastic ! Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I had issues with the TV viewing that weren't fixed until halfway through my stay and my coffee machine in the room didn't work, which was an issue as their breakfast doesn't start until 9am. Pretty views and property but for the price, things should have worked better.

Location was great... Wild cats running around and even darted in our room. No food/bar snacks etc... Local kids running around the place day and night. Purchased through Orbitz on-line and got charged much more the my friends staying the same time booking direct.. MGR would not adjust. MGR very rude.

We had a nice experience at this hotel.the staff were friendly , always ready to help us with anything we needed we would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant and stress-free stay.

The place was nice and we had a good stay until the cleaning lady insisted on kicking us out. I asked to stay late at front desk and was told 2pm then the lady came at 1:15 saying i need you out now and even walked unto my room saying why i still have my stuff there as I was picking up my stuff. Not easy with 2 children. Was very rude

Great location and perfect for our stay in the keys. We had a view of both the Atlantic and the Gulf, and the kitties were adorable. Can't wait to return!

Excellent. Highly recommend and Definitely worth going. They have the kindest people and very helpful. Everything is close by, all the shops, restaurants and attractions. We definitely will stay there again.

Beautiful property location. You can relax on the beach and watch the pelicans fly right overhead. Was peaceful for the most part. If you are a light sleeper walls are not soundproof and we had one night with a rowdy party at the gazebo until midnight. But otherwise quiet. Walking distance to a few restaurants. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast very basic but convenient.

No internet in room was a big no no, place is run down, pool was cold. Breakfast was no better. Just seemed like they were covering bare minimums.

Would we use Coconut Cove again - yes we probably would. We think that quite a bit could be done for guests though, to encourage them to stay and not just use it for an overnight stop. It is a very attractive site with a good waterside and super pool. The rooms are OK but a little in need of uplift. The breakfast is adequate. Its Florida - no orange juice or for that matter water. Once the muffins had gone they didn't reappear. We provided our own juice and some jam to spread on the bread. The single toaster was a low quality domestic one not suitable for a hotel breakfast area.. Beware the wi-fi. If you read carefull it is only available near to reception. This is not difficult to provide at room level these days. We had to use our UK base mobile broadband. Next it says Paul's Grill and Tikki bar. To be fair we knew there was no food available, but to have a Tikki bar and not serve any drinks is ridiculous. There were occassions during our seven night stay when we would have eaten and drank in if possible, But we had to do all of this ourselves. Basically we don't think the owners really want people to enjoy what is a very attractive location.

no elevator had to use concrete stairs to second floor rooms. No wi-fi available in guest rooms. small screen tv with limited menu. Breakfast was a joke.

Hi I am not a review person but this time wanted to share. The place its ok. What I did not like is the noise that comes out from the 2 room next to me. At one point couldnt sleep. Also O my god, breakfast? why did they say they have breakfast included. They should be embarresed and ashamed. Its just coffee ( Bad coffee) and a few things. Iteam in bags and cheap. No bread nothing like a breakfast. This made me real mad. Its better to have good coffee and bread, or bagel then have a few cheap food that is not breakfast. I hope they really fix that. They also dont have bikes, no kayak like the other hotels. I book here by mistake and was disappointed. No beach. You can not get on the water like the other hotels. I went to explore and the other hotels are way betterrrr.

The property is clean but seemed very old. The gyms weights were old and rusty. The continental breakfast was terrible, I have never seen in my 52 yrs of life that a resort offers a honeybun wrapped in plastic, pop tarts, a bottle of apple juice on ice, yogurt and banana as breakfast. I would have never reserved a room if I knew this was their breakfast. I do have to say that the pool is very nice and that they keep the property very clean and the staff was nice. But the breakfast and gym was terrible.
