We had a fantastic overall experience at the hotel. I just need to mention that the nearest paid parking lot is 3 blocks away, it may be an inconvenience if you have a car. As soon as we arrived the receptionists was expecting us, by name. The hotel felt more like a House than a hotel. The saff was very nice and helpful at all times. Breakfast was very good. The hotel was conveniently located and transmitted a sense of originality. Beds were comfortable, rooms were great. The view from the terrace was very good. The staff keeps the exterior door lock at night but you can always "ring the bell," staff is very watchful and attentive.

Lovely place , we stayed there for a week ... I traveled with my husband and our 2 teenagers and we had a great time ... we did a lot of hiking so it was nice to get back to a clean and peaceful place to rest and re charge for the next adventure ... The staff was extremely nice and accommodating .. we definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel was in a great location , close to everything. Staff was friendly and it felt super safe. I had hot water and AC and they helped with transportation from the Airport. It is a beautiful little hotel , very well taken care of. My only issue is one night I came back in and I found what looked like termites on bed (not bed bugs I definitely checked), I asked for a new blanket and replaced it since it seemed to have fallen from the wooden roof and were just laying there , the next day I found saw dust which confirmed it was termites. I didn’t have a huge issue with it since it was otherwise a great stay but just want to mention it incase it’s an issue for someone, in all fairness my friend stayed in the same hotel in a different room during the same time and had none so it could just have been that particular room. Besides that I would absolutely book again if back in Antigua.

Great location!!! The hotel is located is just off the Centrale Plaza and easy to walk to everywhere within Antigua. The rooms were comfortable and clean at a good rate. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was delicious and set a great start to each day.

The rooms are small but the quality of the bedding is very good. The best part of this place is the fact that is at an excellent location. The bathroom is very small and the staff is not very accommodating around the Holy Week as they have the place full and no extra sheets are given. There is no A/C but there is a fan, I wasn't happy about it. The place is nicely kept, the breakfast menu is very limited.

Beautiful, historic hotel but won’t book it next time. Nightly rate (double of other places) didn’t seem to make sense. Lots of street noise, no a/c (plug in fan we requested from front desk did help some), furniture in room was mini sized and not comfortable. It is very close to the main plaza but everything in Antigua is walkable, so next time I’ll book further away from the main square.

Very nice small hotel. We were visiting for a wedding. There is no heat, so the evenings were a bit cool, but we slept very well. The hot water was immediate. They only have about 12 rooms in the hotel which kept it more quiet. You can hear the louder parties in the street but the vent fan turned on helped drown out the noise.

The property is small with only 9 rooms so it is very intimate and private. The service is excellent and the rooms are clean, big enough. The only concern is no AC so if the weather is hot, this might be an issue. It was warm when we were there but we were fine. There is a recessed fan but ceiling fans would be great (and an easy addition!)

The staff is 5-star, especially the manager. Property looks like an elegant home converted into a hotel. Room was so small I couldn't wheel a carry-on around the bed. Internet and hot water spotty. Lovely grounds. Generous breakfast. Great location. Would stay there again, in a larger room.

We had a wonderful stay, visiting from the US. The room was comfortable, the bed slept well, the breakfast was delightful, and the staff was pleasant, friendly, and very helpful. The location was convenient for visiting sites around Antigua. The provided transport from the airport was extremely helpful. And the staff was able to coordinate a volcano tour for us, which was great.

This place is in a fantastic location, very central and walking distance to many things in Antigua. The staff was extremely helpful, polite, and was willing to go above and beyond. They packed us a bag breakfast in days we couldn’t attend breakfast due to some early AM tours. Very secure place. Will def be staying here again.

Beautiful property, nice fan in room, wonderful breakfast. Great location and walking distance. I did have to reach out more than once to confirm coordination for airport pickup, and ultimately had to communicate with the driver myself for flight information etc, which was frustrating, but it all worked out fine.

All of the staff were friendly and helpful, and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The rooms were beautifully decorated with Spanish colonial style furniture, and there was a lovely courtyard in the center of the hotel. Although the hotel was right on a busy street, we very seldom heard any noise from outside. The hotel was also located close to the park, shops, and beautiful churches. Highly recommend!

We are so happy that we found this hotel through hotels.com. They arranged a shuttle from and to the international airport in Guatemala City, which worked really well. The staff are lovely and go out of their way to help guests. (A special shout-out to Monica who mans the front desk during the day). The hotel is right in the center of old Antigua, so it's very easy to walk to many of the sights.

A fantastic location, just steps from the central plaza and the Cathedral. The staff is excellent -- friendly and very helpful. They helped arrange transportation to and from the airport, and provided a to-go breakfast for a super-early departure. A fantastic location, just steps from the central plaza and the Cathedral. The staff is excellent -- friendly and very helpful. They helped arrange transportation to and from the airport, and provided a to-go breakfast for a super-early departure. This place is in a fantastic location, very central and walking distance to many things in Antigua. The staff was extremely helpful, polite, and was willing to go above and beyond. They packed us a bag breakfast in days we couldn’t attend breakfast due to some early AM tours. Very secure place. Will def be staying here again.

All of the staff were friendly and helpful, and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The rooms were beautifully decorated with Spanish colonial style furniture, and there was a lovely courtyard in the center of the hotel. Although the hotel was right on a busy street, we very seldom heard any noise from outside. The hotel was also located close to the park, shops, and beautiful churches. Highly recommend!

Beautiful hotel, excellent location and close to restaurants and town center. We walked everywhere during our stay. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was delicious. Room was really pretty and had cold a/c! Would love to return in the future.

Fantastic complimentary breakfast! So fresh so delicious! The staff were very nice and helpful. They all spoke English too which made me feel less embarrassed about my broken Spanish.

The rooms are small but the quality of the bedding is very good. The best part of this place is the fact that is at an excellent location. The bathroom is very small and the staff is not very accommodating around the Holy Week as they have the place full and no extra sheets are given. There is no A/C but there is a fan, I wasn't happy about it. The place is nicely kept, the breakfast menu is very limited.

Lovely location. Amazing views. A bit cramped and the breakfast options are limited for vegetarians. It would be great if the management would review what's offered in Costa Rican hotels of similar class and offer the same. Beans and rice instead of eggs. Corn tortillas instead of bread. Grilled tomatoes. These would be simple changes that can help the product.

We were enchanted by the antique ambiance of the location, which felt incredibly quiet and serene. This venue resembles a cozy bed and breakfast; although they have a bar, it wasn't operational during our visit. The breakfast was delightful, offering a variety of options. My only concern was that it took a while for our order to be taken. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and felt very secure.

My husband I stayed for 5 nights. Originally, I was going by myself so safety was key for Us. This gated property is ideal for a single female traveler, and centrally located with the convenience of a Pharmacia right next door. Not being fluent at all in Spanish we appreciated Guillermo at the Front Desk being bilingual. He also arranged transportation to El Finca Nature Preserve and luggage storage. We also enjoyed Edgar, our waiter in the restaurant going above and beyond helping us to learn Spanish. We loved this property!
