The hotel is conveniently located close to the main area of town and if you’re up for a bit of a walk uphill it’s not too far from the ferry terminal. The room was comfortable with excellent pillows and the most absorbent towels I’ve ever seen in a hotel. The spa services were great and the pool and hot tub made for a relaxing end to the day.

It was a true delight to stay here. The staff were very friendly, and the rooms immaculate with very comfortable beds. There was a lovely little outside coffee bar to get different morning beverages and light breakfast breads. But the crown jewel was the indoor pool with hot tub and sauna. It was incredible! Sparkling clean and just the right ambiance that matches the serene surroundings of the entire place. I will be back.

Pet friendly. Good climate control. Although a shower head was installed, there was no valve to divert water above the tub basin faucet. Thus, no shower. The bathroom sink faucet baseplate moved across the sink area. Dooming disaster. Needs caulking. Faceplates surrounding light switches and electrical outs need to be cleaned with disinfectant Good landscaping maintenance. Beautiful gardens spread throughout the super large property

It was incredible! Everything was so amazing and we will definitely be staying again!!! The only criticism I would have is the floors were a little bit dirty, they did make the bottoms of our feet turn dark, however, this to us is a very minor thing, just something to note! Our stay though was absolutely amazing and we would definitely come back!

For $300/night, this property is overpriced. It’s a great bed, towels, and robes in a converted motel that had an inconsistent remodel plan. The bar top and counter top were banded in aluminum that looked very DIY. When showering, I could tell when other rooms started their showers because my pressure and hot water would drop. The tub stall was spinach green. The location to town is great, but just understand that you will not be wowed by the room, except for the bed, towels, and robes. You never interact with staff as check-in is digital, but I did get great help over the phone when I had to make changes to my reservation. Overall it was fine- a designer and some funds for creating a cohesive remodel plan (and some pressure balanced shower valves) to up the ambience would make this place 4-5 stars for me.

We stayed at the EarthBox Inn for three nights while we biked the San Juans! Lovely spot to come back to each night! Beds and pillows were great and shower was nice. The location is excellent! We never moved our car once we parked it because everything is within walking distance. Had some lovely meals at the brewery which is just blocks away. Highly recommend the EarthBox!!

It was a case of bad news, better news. Our first room was oppressively small. We had to walk upstairs with our luggage. The blinds did not work. The neighbors window AC kept going on and off and the view was a junky parking lot. The better news was the staff was very cooperative and moved us into another room. Unfortunately we were locked out of the new room 3 times and the curtains didn’t cover the windows to keep the light out for sleeping. The location is good for walking. The price was good for the area. However, we probably would not go back.

The location is perfect as it’s right in the middle of Friday Harbor. But it’s very pricey for what it’s worth. It’s also extremely noisy as it’s a motel set up so people are constantly walking by.

Comfortable bed and pillows, very absorbent towels, everything was very clean. Bathroom was tiny, but with a full sized tub. Service was lovely and friendly. Pool was clean and hot tub was working. Only downside was the neighbor upstairs who decided to thump around at 4 a.m. on our second night and then take a shower and maybe pack? Lots of noise for an hour, then they seemed to have left. Except it started all over again at 8.

booking & check in stream lined and easy, and when the team texted and offered concierge services they weren't kidding! they got back to me promptly about a dinner question that turned out to be the highlight of our entire 2 week vacation. and were also very responsive and helpful when we needed to seek medical help on the island. apart from these services, having the pool there for my kids was awesome post-national parks, and rooms were clean and comfortable for a peaceful night's sleep for my family.

Rooms and property were very clean. Staff very helpful. When one person in my party became sick and needed a few more hours to recuperate I was given a late check out without any questions asked. The only negative I have is that my room did not have a place to hang dress clothes. I rented 5 rooms and only 1 had this problem. I would definitely stay here again.

Check in time is 4pm. They usually let you in by 3pm. We had been traveling and were unusually tired. We saw that our room was ready and the staff knew we were waiting for the room but they made us wait outside for over an hour before they let us in. I won’t stay at this hotel again.

What a great getaway space! Stayed for one night for a golf tournament with friends from work. We loved how walkable this place was. The morning coffee shop was cute and easy to access. The night before, we watched the game a bit at Haley’s sports bar, walked to dinner at the Downrigger then stopped to bowl across the street from the hotel before going to bed. Next time I might stay another night to go kayaking, enjoy the spa or go whale watching. We will definitely stay here again!

Great location and pretty property. Convenient to walking anywhere and love that there is a little coffee shop on property. Also nice little places to sit down and just relax. Feels like a cozy place among the busy little town. Clean rooms. Two small issues w the place - one was that the cleaning staff was loud and yelling outside of our windows (albeit they were nice) and the second is that it seems like a bit expensive for a fairly basic room. However overall would still recommend the property as they did a nice job with what they inherited!

Excellent location near all of Friday Harbor dining/shopping/excursions. It’s about 4 blocks from the ferry terminal (up a gradual hill). The separate toilet/shower area of the bathroom is really small, so not great if you are a large person. Otherwise, very clean, fridge and microwave, and nice locally made soaps! On-site coffee bar/light breakfast space is nice.
