Very good for the price. They are renewing rooms so try to get one that’s been done. We did.. Parking is free if you can find it. Sometimes you wait for a space to open. Huge Israeli breakfast buffet included. Service is fast and friendly.

Disappointing experience. Rude, unhelpful staff. Furniture old and worn, A/C barely cool the room. Amenities had weird hours and closed early. Ripped carpets, dirty curtains and walls. At the bar, a guest was told to pay for a peppermint tea bag—or bring one from her room! Security wouldn’t let me take the luggage cart upstairs, claiming he’d have to retrieve it himself. Lifeguard cleared the pool at 4:45 though it closes at 5, rushing guests everybody out, including elderly people that I felt sad for them. Zero hospitality. Definitely not worth the positive reviews. I won’t be back.

Cute room with semi private pool. The private beach was nice. Food was good. Highlight was the sulfar pool. Did have an extra fee of 60nis though. 4 electric car chargers on premesis. Beautifully redone in the lobby.

This is a property which is tired and needs a face lift. There are no toilets at pool level and our friend who used a mobility scooter was unable to access the pool as there were no ramps. On the other hand the food was outstanding and the staff were lovely. We would go again

We booked the president suite Which is a lot more expensive than any other room or suite Big disappointment from the suite Air conditioning did not work when we arrived It was fiz after two hours And after fixed it was very very noisy The dead sea is extremely hot weather you expect the air condition to be perfect. They did not renew water or fruits as promised. The other part of hotel services were good spa food swimming pool.

The hotel is very nice, they have their own beach which is amazing. The property is clean. The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The only concern was a bit of a mess during breakfast. Some of the staff don't seem to speak neither English nor Hebrew and as the result gave unhelpful or incorrect answers. Other than that we've enjoyed our stay and would like to come back again. BTW, the Expedia's note that the price is including all the fees and taxes was incorrect.

The general condition of the hotel was poor, alot of rust in the bathroom and in the sa facility, the divice that helps the dissabled people to get into to solt pool was full of rust and it spilled into the pool, the hotel os very old and not mainteined properly, the paint is pilling of the doors and the walls, there is a smell of moll in the bathroom. It shold be a 2 star hotel. The brekfest was ok and the staff were very plesent!

Very bad hotel. Old, shabby rooms in need of refurbishment. Ham staff. Upon check-in, they issued a paper that says that the check-out before 14:00. Etc. Already at 12:00 they began to continuously ring and break on the door demanding to immediately vacate the room. Never stay at this hotel.

In November 2022, the desk receptionist was personable. Also, there was mud in each room and the room air conditioners worked all the time. Last week, it was on Day 2 that a technician explained that they automatically shut off when the door opens/closes. Surprise innovation? In extreme heat, our room was very hot upon our return from various activities. Also, we were required to purchase mud from a retailer on Level 1-, who tried to push products on us (guaranteed to make me look young again!!!) and became annoying each time we passed her store. However, I certainly would return to Herod's. It's first rate - and Adam, a receptionist, was outstanding. Art Fredman

The hotel and the staff are fantastic. The private beach, pool area and spa are really amazing. The staff at the reception were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. They even called the room soon after checkin to ask if everything was good. Very glad to have picked this hotel for a stay by the Dead Sea. I would highly recommend it.

Har besøkt Herods, og mange ganger før denne gang, når det var Moriah og Sheraton, og var meget fornøyd med beligenhet, service og maten. Hadde problem med systemet ved utsjekking som ville gjerne belaste meg med moms. Tok alt for lang tid å finne ut av problemet.

The hotel is very nice, they have their own beach which is amazing. The property is clean. The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The only concern was a bit of a mess during breakfast. Some of the staff don't seem to speak neither English nor Hebrew and as the result gave unhelpful or incorrect answers. The staff at Herods ( Dead Sea Israel) were the true stars of the show. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine warmth and professionalism. Receptionist was very thoughtful and helpful.housekeeping was attentive to request.They truly went above and beyond to make my stay feel personalized and special.

The best place to unwind after all the sightseeing in Jerusalem! And only a 30 minute drive to Masada, which is one on the most beautiful and historic places on earth. The buffet dinner here is the best I have ever had. Get a jacuzzi room and watch the sunset. The beach is a one minute walk from the hotel. Stay here for the experience of a lifetime!!

Our hotel stay was pleasant and peacefull. The food was amazing - a huge variety and very tasty. The Dead Sea beach is close by. The only downside is that the shopping center is far and also checkout on Saturdays should be later.
