Inside the room was clean and the A/C worked great. The bed was comfortable but the sheets had a few strange stains on them. The hallway was 100 degrees and there isnt a elevator. The building and grounds showed major wear and tear. The area seamed a little scary but it was fine. For a overnight stop i would stay here again.

The shower had mold in the shower. Also, if you need an elevator they DO NOT have one. The carpet in the hall is very dirty. You would think they would have the carpet cleaned. Also, the towels were not clean.

I made it to my room about 4:30 am around 6 i went to my broken in car, where everything was stolen even the air conditioning system. I asked for the camera footage being they took my speakers and many other big heavy items they couldn’t just walk off with

Staff was super friendly. Room was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. The only issues were the luggage carts. Both of them need new wheels. Very hard to push and steer when loaded with luggage. The tub could use some new caulking and a plug if you want to take a bath instead of a shower. The properties around the property look run down, but the hotel is really nice and rooms are really comfortable. Looks like they recently remodeled possibly.

Walls are thin so you hear everything. My room smelled like cigarettes even though it’s non-smoking. When I arrived I was given a key, when I went to the assigned room it was occupied. There is no elevator only stairs.

My stay was fine. Not the best in looks, but it was decent. I was upset that the breakfast was only cereal. Frosted Flakes or Raisin Bran. I also thought it was interesting that there were two floors, but no elevator. Not a big deal to me, but just wanted to put that in there for the people that read the reviews. It was nice that hotel was in the same parking lot as Maxwell Street Grill. I’m from Texas and had my very first Chicago style hot and I loved it.

When I showed up at the hotel, it looked a little suspicious. When I walked into the hotel there was no AC on in the lobby. There is also no elevator if you have bags to go to the second floor. Once I check in and head to the room, I walk in and it look very dark and hot. I went to the restroom to check it out there was a used towel on the shower and the shower head had mold on it. I pulled back the covers and there was hair and brown stains on the sheets. I went to the front desk and ask the guy to come in and check the room. He said that he would remove the towel or get me another room. I asked for another room and it was also nasty. After I looked at that room I told the guy I wasn’t going to stay at the hotel and could he refund me the money I paid.

There were roaches everywhere! Coming out of the door hole( how the door locks) they were coming out of there the moment we enter the room. Then it was coming out the drain hole in the sink from behind the coffee maker. When we woke up they were all over the walls. We stayed because when we went downstairs to ask for a refund they kept saying we can’t guarantee it will be a refund issued if we leave. Me and my husband felt like we were force to stay in a nasty infested room with our babies!

The hallway has a strange smell but the room was ok. The bathroom needed to be cleaned before we showered. I took a steamy shower and when I opened up the bathroom door the fire detector went off for 5 minutes.

There was homeless woman laying in the hallway. Then my room was not fully clean the sheets were off white, burnt holes in the comforter, and bathroom was that clean. Also, it was lingering smell of cigarettes although this was a non smoking motel. I left booked another hotel but unable to get a refund.

Hotel was fairly clean. Unfortunately that is all the good I can say about it. The entire upstairs reeks of marijuana smoke, the shower surround has been broken and poorly patched, the water wasn’t hot and I had to take luke warm showers, the toilet just sort of drained instead of flushed, the coffee maker had to be moved over to the edge of the actual sink because there was a blank cover plate instead of a receptacle where it was supposed to be, the bed was quite uncomfortable and there are cigarette burns in the blankets despite the entire hotel supposedly being non smoking. I don’t have overly high expectations and know it is a fairly cheap hotel but I was still severely disappointed and would definitely not stay here again.

The Bed was very comfortable, and we were able to change the temperature of the thermostat. The shower was labeled incorrectly (the blue side that was labeled with a snowflake was the hot side and the red side labeled with a sun was the cold side) and the shampoo and soap made my hair and skin incredibly dry. The moisturizer wasn't much help. The breakfast only had cereal and bread (a toaster was available, butter and jelly were available also for the bread) and there were no knives. The forks and spoons were mixed together at a very low quantity for each. The orange/apple juice machine was out of order as well. No napkins or paper towels either.

Good thing about this property was the lady let us check in after 2 pm. The guests above us we argued most of the day cussing and screaming at each other! Then around 3:30/3:45 am they started yelling again and didn’t stop for quite some time! The noisy drunk people were yelling in the hallway and knocking on doors for 20 minutes around 5:00am. Breakfast was okay-juice and milk weren’t cold. Hardly anything to eat. Need to offer some Hot breakfast options. The room was at least clean and bed wasn’t too bad. Nice Employee at front desk was a plus!

We had to complain multiple times about the neighbours next door and above us. A lot of guests live here full time so it is difficult to stay here as a temporary guest. Their breakfast is bare minimum and is overly stated as breakfast included. If you need somewhere cheap to stay it’s fine but the noise was definitely an issue.

We showed up 90 minutes early and they charged me another 30 dollars to check in at 1:30 instead of 3. That is highway robbery. I am an old woman and never in my life have I had to pay to check in early. That is ridiculous and I will never ever ever ever use that hotel chain again before I die. This was the worst hotel in the history of hotel chains. If I was Expedia I would remove them from your system and explain to them that because of their atrocious service they are being removed. My opinion of course. Also the room smelled like cigarettes and we had to complain to mgmt that it smelled like smoke. All in all the worst experience ever.

The location was good. The cost was fair. The hotel room overall was ok. The service was terrible; they were never at the desk. The breakfast is ridiculous: warm milk and juice, stale cereal. Looks like they were trying to feed us someone's leftovers. Lastly, you're in South Holland, so homeless, addicts, arguments, and crime are all around you. A couple was arguing and fighting outside our window from 1 am to 4 am, and no one stopped them. Won't stay here again!

Great hotel to stay in. Clean and safe. Driver said his room was nice ad clean and fabulous breakfast. He also said that Hugo was super nice and very attentive to accommodating him. Hotel is Amazing and Hugo is wonderful! My driver said this hotel was absolutely wonderful. He said it was clean and customer service was so good. Hugo really took care of my employee and made sure that he had everything he needed. Hugo is an Asset to your team and should be commended on his excellent customer service skills. Driver said that breakfast was delicious as well. We recommend this hotel and will definitely use this hotel again when we are in the area. In fact we have already booked another night stay. The service host Sam was extremely helpful!! He made sure my check-in was smooth. Going in and out for the day, he greeted us with a smile and laughter as we joked with him. New Laminate floors in the room, Plumbing and Tub is outdated but overall it was very clean. 85 per night it is a great deal and honestly. you get what you pay, for but for the price it was an exceptional deal. The area looks kind of sketchy, but its an area were many motels are right off the hwy that people frequent that have driving jobs.

The check in and check out were quick and easy. It is right off the interstate and not far from many restaurants. Maybe not in the greatest of neighborhoods but we had zero issues. Beds were full size. Not a bad stay for just one night.

The area is terrible. Do not tracel to downtoawn by bus. You need to have ur own car to go anywhere. The stairs and hallway is so dirty but the room itself was good. Staff are good.

My Bedsheets and blanket were very dirty. Had to ask them to change at 11pm as we checked in late. And had to change them ourself. We selected this location because of breaskfast being included. There was nothing in breakfast except cereal and juice, very disappointed.

For some unknown reason I arrived at check in time . I had to sit and wait 20 minutes to check in . Total confusion. Finally checked in had 5 min to change for an appointment. As I walked down the stairs the fire alarms went off. I came back to weed stink . Toast and cereal is NOT a complementary breakfast .
