Minor concerns: lightbulb missing in the storage off the bathroom, a few carpet stains, the hot water tap needs to be locked in place as it turns when you turn it on.

Overall the property was nice. The lady at the front did not speak English so she had to call someone to translate. Not a big deal. They were very nice. The beds were a bit worn and there was no shower curtain on the shower. There also was no fan in the bathroom so it could get very steamy.

Comfortable room (ambience 'slightly dated/well used'), containing kitchenette and all the gadgets we wanted. The wooden upstairs walkway to our room seemed slightly shaky but in reality wasn't a problem. The location is excellent, at the heart of the town and close to the ferry pier.

Great location to beach front and dining and gift shop shopping. our room was good for 2 people. stayed 3 nights. walked to treaty grounds - bush walk close by also. would recommend, although not beach front, close enough to walk within minutes. good value for money. friendly, helpful staff.

There were many maintenance items that needed attending to that were not done. Because we had secured our reservation by credit card, when we checked in the manager billed the entire stay of five days on the credit card. On the third day we were advised of an impending cyclone so we advised the manager that we would only be staying four days. The manager refused to credit us back the last day that they had billed us on our credit card.!!! Not good!!

The property is nicely located with restaurants and a supermarket close at hand. The Beach is just a few minutes away. The motel is fairly basic. No regular toilet paper, just tissues. I ate at Jimmy's Rib Shack a few times. The ribs are very good.

The room is a bit small for one adult and two teens, but we didn't mind at all. It's only for a short stay, and we are happy with what we paid. The staff is nice and friendly. The room was very clean, and it had everything we needed, including a small fridge, cups, dishes, and cutlery, a pot, a pan, and cleaning equipment. The property is nicely located with restaurants and a supermarket close at hand. The Beach is just a few minutes away. The motel is fairly basic. No regular toilet paper, just tissues. I ate at Jimmy's Rib Shack a few times. The ribs are very good.

Comfortable room (ambience 'slightly dated/well used'), containing kitchenette and all the gadgets we wanted. The wooden upstairs walkway to our room seemed slightly shaky but in reality wasn't a problem. The location is excellent, at the heart of the town and close to the ferry pier.

There were many maintenance items that needed attending to that were not done. Because we had secured our reservation by credit card, when we checked in the manager billed the entire stay of five days on the credit card. On the third day we were advised of an impending cyclone so we advised the manager that we would only be staying four days. The manager refused to credit us back the last day that they had billed us on our credit card.!!! Not good!!
