Clapham Guest House

Spacious room with massive comfy bed and a decent table and chairs to work at... and a fridge! Decent-sized mugs to make a cuppa in was were appreciated too. I used the microwave and crockery downstairs to heat a ready meal after eating out the first night - a nice addition. Location is superb - 10 minute walk from Clapham Common and many gorgeous eateries in the area. Bus stop 1 minute walk away took me directly up to St Thomas's Hospital in 30 minutes and it's well-connected to other places. My room (number 4 ) was at the front so there was some road noise but none once I put in my earplugs. No human reception but check in was secure and easy and there is a phone to call through if needed. Would stay again for sure.

As advertised, there was no A/C, and it is definitely hot, but honestly I’d still book. Great location, easy access and perfect for what we needed!

Size was very small however cleanliness was good. They should keep at least 2 bottles of water for guests in the room.

Such a lovely property, not far walk from the underground. Such a lovely surrounding area with lots of shops, restaurants and a great community all round I felt safe (as a for travelling on my own) and the rooms were clean. Beds very comfortable. Even having a seperate private bathroom downstairs was fine. Hot shower, clean towels. My room was 6 and this was main road facing so it does get a bit loud in the morning with buses/cars etc but still a good nights sleep. Didn’t use the shared kitchen but this was also clean and a great amenity. Perfect for a quick couple of nights stay in London!
