Good location, had a great view of the castle, friendly staff, able to park right outside, nice interior, nice rooms. Felt a little too fancy for our simple selfs but every one was great. Highly recommend. Bar a little expensive though.

I booked this hotel because a friend of mine recommended it based on its proximity to Kumamoto Castle. Boy was I surprised by how awesome this place was. Nice decor, large rooms (not Japanese roooms, regular sized rooms) with plenty of space and a comfortable bathroom. The property didn’t feel dated at all and the staff were all terrific. When we drove up one employee received us with a bow and quickly helped us with our luggage, quite the reception to be honest. The front desk staff all spoke English which was a pleasant surprise compared to the other hotels we stayed at on this 2 week trip. Highly recommend and I’m sad I didn’t spring for the breakfast, I think that’s a missed opportunity on my part.

Good location. Central to most attractions being close to the castle. We only spent a night in kumamoto but felt that this hotel was good value. Parking in front of the hotel was a bit tight depending on the spots available. They do have another parking area though. Hotel was clean and as described in the listing. Overall, a good stay.

We stayed for 2 nights in Kumamoto. The hotel is located conveniently within a short distance to the castle and near to shops and eateries. Parking is available on site and you have to leave your car keys with the hotel and exchange with a parking slip whenever you need to retrieve the car. It seems more of a businesss hotel and there was also a wedding reception on one of the days we were there. We had a great experience in Kumamoto and honestly there was nothing we could fault with the hotel.

部屋から熊本城が見えるお部屋が目的でその部屋を選択して予約しました。到着が遅語ったからなのか、元々、エクスペディアだとそうなのかわかりませんが、案内されたお部屋は３Fで楽しみにしていた熊本城も天守閣が見てる程度で、すっごい良かったです！という感じではなかったです。高層フロアだと宣材写真のようにもっとお城が見えるのだと感じました。また３Fなので道を歩いている人と部屋の窓からお城をみていると目が合いました。女性一人で宿泊しているので、微妙な気持ちになりました。お城はみたいけどカーテンをあけていると通行人と目があう＝部屋が丸見えだったと思います。またベッドサイドのコンセントは通電していませんでした。TV台横のドレッサーのコンセントは微弱で全然充電されませんでした。気休めに程度につないでるほうがまだまし。というにも乏しいほど充電が微弱でした。到着時に1時間レイトチェックアウトするにはどうしたいいのか？と。その仕組みを確認すると、無償対応してくれました。この点はとても嬉しく、また素晴らしいホテルだと思いました。

As a couple, we stayed at the Kumamoto Hotel Castle for two days and took 12 self-driving trips around the most southern parts of Japan. Our experience with the hotel began with parking the vehicle. We were quickly assisted with our luggage at the front of the hotel and then ushered to the car park. The nature of the services was warm, efficient, and friendly. This trend continued throughout the stay. Our primary interaction was with the front counter staff - checking in, returning the keys and seeking information. On all occasions, they were excellent. The room was comfortable, clean, and tidy. As it was a two-day stay, we did not require cleaners, and while they were concerned, we were equally insistent. While the service was excellent at the breakfast, we would prefer not to have a choice between Japanese or Western cuisine. We found both underwhelming. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Love the music (smooth jazz) that you can have in the guest room and dining area. Highly recommend to experience class hotel with long history where the emperors stayed in the past.

For a 5 night stay like mine, it would be nice to have more than just two breakfast options which gets a little boring if you can have only the exactly same two. 훌룡합니다. 넓은객실과 좋은 위치. 창밖으로 보이는 캐슬까지, 단점은 조식을 별도로 신청하지 않아 별도로 신청할때 1인 4000엔라는 금액은 좀 비싼금액이라 생각. 담은 다시 간다고 하면 여기에 다시 올 생각임
