This property was absolutely gorgeous and perfect!! Our only complaint (my cousin and myself) was our shower was horrible. It was very hard turning the knob to turn the shower on. Once we found the right tempature of water it would get scalding hot or very cold. We just couldn't seem to get it right .

When we got to our room we were immediately captivated by how nice, unique and cozy it was. Hot tub in the room's private patio, big and comfy bed, spacious room, great bathroom, amazing little pool and jacuzzi, nice breakfast served to your door, and convenient location if you're looking to be near downtown. When we went to Key West there was terrible sargassum. We tried going to the beach and there was nobody out there because the smell was unbearable. Luckily the hotel's pool was so nice that we didn't even feel the need to go to the beach. I would definitely come back.

My husband and I stayed at the Tropical Inn for 5 nights for his birthday. It's an adult only bed and breakfast on Duval St. in Key West. What a hidden gem! The location is perfect for walking to almost anything you want to do in Key West, and the staff was very helpful and nice. We actually stayed in 2 rooms, and our favorite was room #11, the Gecko Suite. It was large with a king bed and private hot tub. The other room we had was #10 which was smaller but still very cute with its own picket fence patio area next to the pool. This room had a queen bed. Beds in both rooms were very comfortable. This is not a Hilton or Marriott, this is a Victorian, Key West house with lots of character and personality. The pool was excellent, just the right temperature to be refreshing but not freezing at all so I believe it was heated. The best part ...... even though you are on Duval, the noise level is very low once you enter the Tropical Inn. It is like a secret garden when you are by the pool. A couple of our favorite restaurants, Ramshead and Blue Heaven are only a block away when you go out the back gate. Cute, romantic, great pool, wonderful location....we loved it.
