The property has had some wonderful updates. Rooms are updated with modern/midcentury furniture. Appear more spacious...lovely vibe. Courtyard has been changed with astroturf and adirondack chairs, grill, cornhole games. etc.

What a great stay. This property has lots to offer. The state park across the street is easy walking distance and beautiful. The pool and grounds are well kept and enjoyable. Our room had a small kitchen and cool AC. The building is older but definitely unique. We would love to return.

Cutest little lodge. Steps to the beach. The pool was so beautiful and inviting. Stayed there with my 7 year old, they had so many beach and pool toys we had the best time. Super comfortable spot.

The property is very nice with spacious, clean rooms. Meg was very helpful and informed me of the additional parking available (some reviews mention inadequate parking) and she even gave me the option of first or second floor. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay near the beach in Vero.

Nice, "old Florida" small oceanside motel (17 units). Has been updated some, could use a little more, but probably coming in the future. Friendly staff made check-in a breeze. Parking gets a little tight when they are full. Location is great, close to beach, many restaurants and other local attractions! Overall, we had a nice stay.

A charming bit of old-Florida, just steps from a great beach, for which hotel provides towels and beach chairs. We loved just about everything about this place. The terrazzo floors, roof deck, small but not tiny pool, well-kept family-friendly grounds including a communal BBQ. Rooms was roomy, had fridge and freezer, stove, microwave, and coffee maker. Comfortable king size bed. more than adequate storage space in dresser and closet Clean well-maintained bathroom (though the towels could stand an upgrade). Most outstanding was the desk clerk/manager Meg. Friendly and accommodating from arrival to departure. When we returned hours after checkout from a long bike ride she offered us use of the pool to cool off and a bathroom to change clothes. We hope to stay at the Seaspray Surf Lodge again.

Meg works like a dog. I'd steal her away. As manager she afforded every guest special treatment. Old style Florida motel. It was immaculately clean. Kudos to the maid. Pool was clean. Beach was glorious. Nearby dining was unexpectedly fab. If i can go back i will. I liked room 2. Stayed in two different rooms. Accomodating doesnt cover it.

I absolutely loved my stay. The manager Meg, couldn’t have been any nicer. The room was spotless, the courtyard and outdoor seating very clean. The beach is 3 min away…walking…This will be the only place I stay, when I visit vero beach. It’s on the quiet side of town, in a beautiful neighborhood.

Meg was absolutely amazing. you can tell the property is a little older but rooms have new furnishings and are VERY clean, cleaner than most chains I have stayed at. Cannot say how absolutely amazing Meg made our stay, she is so kind, attentive and has the best attitude!

I've traveled all over the globe and this is one of my favorite places on earth. The rooms are clean and comfy, and Meg is amazing. Only a short walk to the beach and a wonderful courtyard and pool. Home away from home.

My husband and I felt we where falsely lead by the advertisement and pictures of the Seaspray. The place is nothing like the photos. The photos made it seem the place was modernized and on the beach. Seaspray is down the street and across a street to get to the beach. The bathroom was so small that when you sat on the toilet, your knees would hit the wall in front of you. When I stood up, I hit my head on the towel rack. There is no ventilation in the bathroom, so I tried to open the window but it was nailed shut. There a very few outlets for charging your electronics. The shower floor was stained and dirty looking. I wore my flip flops in the shower. We had to stay because it was non-refundable. Would not recommend this hotel.

It was very nice. I did not find the bed comfortable but my husband did, everything wasn in working conditions and clean. Meg, the do it all manager was super friendly and extremely nice! We would go back there! The beach is at 5 minute walk

Right by the beach. Check in was fast and friendly. Room is nice. Spacious and cozy. Love the retro feel even though there have been lots of changes. Nice view at night from the top deck. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful, updated facility especially on first glance. Bed was comfy but a lighter weight blanket would have been nice. The actual AC unit was noisy and probably from the 50’s. A Mitsubishi single hvac unit would be a wonderful improvement. Room darkening shades would also be a great improvement. The outside lighting keeps the room too bright. The noise level of people talking and walking past is also a problem.

Liked that it was close to beach. Condition of property was fair and old. Bathroom was tiny. Air conditioner was only in bedroom and could not turn the fan as low as desired for sleeping.

Nice boutique hotel. We had the corner suite with 3 beds, perfect for a family of four. A/c worked hard but the fans helped keep the room comfortable on 90+ degree days. 2 minute walk to a beautiful wide beach.

This is our second visit and this time we brought more family. The rooms are charming, with a mid-century modern vibe. It's an intimate inn, with a pool, just across the street from South Vero Beach, with plenty of dining and shopping just a couple of minutes away. The only downside is that when other guests decide not to honor the 9pm pool closure, there's no staff on site to address the racket. And when they're going at it 'til four in the morning, you're on your own. Of course, situations like that are the luck of the draw. Otherwise, it was all we'd hoped for.

My family and I enjoyed our stay here so much. Meg was so helpful and friendly. This property is lucky to have her. I loved the surf vibe the hotel had. The rooms are very comfortable and have a small kitchen. The beach is a very short walk from there. The property has beach chairs and umbrellas you can use which I loved. The pool was clean and a great place to relax. It was hard to leave. I would highly recommend this property and I will definitely stay here again if I ever make it back to Vero Beach.

Sea Spray Surf Lodge is a unique independent hotel a short walk from the beach. It is a 50s motel with many original features. What makes the surf lodge such a pleasant place to stay is Meg - a one person whirlwind and our go to person during our stay. Our trip threw up some unexpected surprises and to have had Meg's friendly support was invaluable. The pool is great - you can ask for additional towels (without charge) to use at the pool or beach. The rooms come with a oven/stove, microwave, toaster, full size refrigerator, coffee maker and kettle. An additional coffee pod machine is available for free in reception. Within walking distance is a Pizzaria and a Creperie (pancake restaurant). There is a 7 Eleven a few minutes drive away, but you'd be better driving across the river to the Walmart Neighborhood for a bigger range. (You do need a vehicle to get here!) UberEats and DoorDash will deliver here too.

Our day was very nice at the recommendation of some friends who live in Vero Beach. We had trouble communicating with the front desk as we typically got voicemail and needed to add another friend name to our second room. The property was clean and nice. The rooms were decorated very cute. I did call the front desk and got voicemail at 9:45 PM. Light was shining in through the windows and was very distracting for sleep. I left a voicemail asking if they had any eye masks for sale downstairs. We did not sleep well because the room was too light.

This is our second visit and this time we brought more family. The rooms are charming, with a mid-century modern vibe. It's an intimate inn, with a pool, just across the street from South Vero Beach, with plenty of dining and shopping just a couple of minutes away. The only downside is that when other guests decide not to honor the 9pm pool closure, there's no staff on site to address the racket. And when they're going at it 'til four in the morning, you're on your own. Of course, situations like that are the luck of the draw. Otherwise, it was all we'd hoped for.

Choosing this place made our whole experience amazing! Meg was such a wonderful host, made us feel welcome from the beginning. Close to plenty of great restaurants in such a peaceful environment, 5 minutes from the beach, offered chairs and kids toys!!

What a great stay. This property has lots to offer. The state park across the street is easy walking distance and beautiful. The pool and grounds are well kept and enjoyable. Our room had a small kitchen and cool AC. The building is older but definitely unique. We would love to return.

Meg was great at checkin, welcoming, friendly, smiling . Checkin was easy and we were headed to beach quickly.. Cute charming beachy property.. clean, and room was very spacious Parking is fine, walking (1block) to beach.. some great places to eat A great place to stay and will definitely be back

I absolutely loved my stay. The manager Meg, couldn’t have been any nicer. The room was spotless, the courtyard and outdoor seating very clean. The beach is 3 min away…walking…This will be the only place I stay, when I visit vero beach. It’s on the quiet side of town, in a beautiful neighborhood.

This place is adorable, so fun, so beautifully decorated! The beds are comfortable, the night is quiet, great pillows! We sat on the balcony and listened to the waves crash, relaxing at night. It was very nice. This place is like a best kept secret, tucked away. You are within walking distance to the beach. The staff are so nice! Very clean, simple.

Seaspray Surf Lodge was a great find! We were visiting friends in Vero Beach and wanted a nice, reasonably priced place to stay for a couple nights. We couldn't have been happier with this place. Small property (18 rooms), friendly & helpful staff, great location (2 minute walk from the ocean) and a quiet area. Price was really reasonable too. We would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I felt we where falsely lead by the advertisement and pictures of the Seaspray. The place is nothing like the photos. The photos made it seem the place was modernized and on the beach. Seaspray is down the street and across a street to get to the beach. The bathroom was so small that when you sat on the toilet, your knees would hit the wall in front of you. When I stood up, I hit my head on the towel rack. There is no ventilation in the bathroom, so I tried to open the window but it was nailed shut. There a very few outlets for charging your electronics. The shower floor was stained and dirty looking. I wore my flip flops in the shower. We had to stay because it was non-refundable. Would not recommend this hotel.

Nice boutique hotel. We had the corner suite with 3 beds, perfect for a family of four. A/c worked hard but the fans helped keep the room comfortable on 90+ degree days. 2 minute walk to a beautiful wide beach.

Nice, "old Florida" small oceanside motel (17 units). Has been updated some, could use a little more, but probably coming in the future. Friendly staff made check-in a breeze. Parking gets a little tight when they are full. Location is great, close to beach, many restaurants and other local attractions! Overall, we had a nice stay.

Needed a place for one night between Miami and Jacksonville. Vero Beach was a great half way for us. The motel is across the street from the beach. A few restaurants within walking distance. The motel has a rooftop and looks to be a bar. But closed the Monday night we stayed.

There isn't any immediate dining options around the hotel, which I was aware of so I prepared a cooler with lunch and dinner options for myself. The village with shops/galleries/cafes and bars is just 1.5 miles north.

Washer dryer, beach chairs, beach towels, shampoo, after sun lotion, toothpaste, and more available to share if you forget anything. Quiet area. Rooms are practical with kitchenette and small bathroom. Plenty of sitting space indoor and out. Wall ac so it’s a little warm in the hot summer days, cools off at night - this adds to the surf shacks vibe. Welcoming hostess. Lawn games and pool. Will definitely stay again next trip.
