Cornerstone Manor Hotel

Lovely relaxing room in a beautiful setting. Loved the trees outside the window. Very good transport links. A quirky property with lots of charm.

Easy to find and good instructions to get it. A good budget stay

The house was under refurbishment and new ownership but this did not affect my stay at all. It is well placed for trams and rail links, and main roads. I was able to travel in from Chester area and around South Manchester without going into the centre of town. Lovely walks along the Bridgewater Canal and plenty of places to get a bit of shopping nearby. Very comfortable and well furnished, reasonably priced, a welcome change from hotel chains with no individual character. Would recommend.

The hotel was surprisingly good. A little rough on the onset but after meeting new owner he is making things really nice step by step. Quiet and comfortable sleep with a convenient store right across the road! It was a great stop over! I'd recommend it for a night or two.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The area felt very safe, which was reassuring, and the surroundings were clean and well-maintained. It was also a quiet place to relax, making it ideal for a peaceful stay. The only downside was the steep stairs, which might be challenging for some guests, especially if carrying luggage. Other than that, everything was comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, a good choice if you’re looking for a safe, clean, and quiet place to stay.
