Hotel Rigas

I don't always give a full 5 stars on my reviews, just because I know there is always room for improvement, but because of our experience here at Hotel Rigas, I will give it a solid 5! Starting with the location. It is located not far from the port of Milos you can walk from it. It may be about a 10-15 minute walk; that was our plan, but when we arrived, it was so hot that we took a taxi. It is near restaurants, bars, and a mini-market where you can purchase snacks and necessities. The hotel is across the street from the water; depending on which unit you get, you may have a view of the water. The room we got was on the side of the front of the hotel with a balcony with a view of an empty lot, where I enjoyed hanging out and watching the sunrise and listening to the birds chirping. We are a family of four, including two children, ages 14 and 12. Our room has a queen-sized bed, a bunk bed, and, as I mentioned, a balcony. Even with the bunkbeds, the room was still spacious and had plenty of room for our four luggage. The room was clean and very cozy. They had some nice small touches, like having a white wine with two glasses on the table and water in the mini-fridge, which was refreshing when we arrived in hot weather. What stood out the most were the owners! Panos was always there to help us with recommendations, and so was his brother Kristoff and their sweet mother! They even gave us cookies before we left! I do not have enough space to write more.

Exceptional customer service, lovely owners with a lovely place in all the ways, décor, hospitality, food, price point... the terraces. Would 10/10 recommend a stay at Hotel Rigas!

Very nice hotel with helpful staff and nice food. Excellent location with restaurants and small supermarket within 300 meters walk. No noice from street. Easy to park rental car or scooter. Guys in reception helped us with rental of scooters and gave us tips for activities. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Hotel Rigas was so amazing. The hotel is in an amazing spot in the islands capital, just a 15 minute walk from the ferry port. Eight when we got there the staff made us feel right at home giving us everything that we needed. The rooms were spacious and clean and we had a nice big balcony as well. The breakfast was excellent everyday. It also had lots of parking so we could park our ATV outside. This hotel was perfect and we would 100% recommend it to everyone that goes to Milos.

Our room had plenty of space for us and we lucked out with a large bathroom and patio. The hotel is run by a very nice family. They were always around to help with anything. They offered clean beach towels every day, helped with taxis, provided delicious breakfast, and they were a pleasure to chat with. I highly recommend this hotel! Tip: "O! Hamos! Tavern" is a short walk away. It has the best food we tried in the area and is right across the street from a nice shallow beach with beach chairs (for a small feee) and beverages.

Only body/hair wash was provided. Breakfast was fresh but was below average in terms of choice. The only hot food was eggs - scrambled one day then fried for the next two days. The hotel offered an all day boat trip around the island but there are lots of other options in town so shop around. I was disappointed with this hotel, especially the overinflated price for a basic two star hotel with no facilities and a one star breakfast - my fault for booking it! I didn’t find the location to my liking either. There are better and cheaper hotels to be found in Milos town centre and I’m glad I stayed in one for my last three nights on this lovely island.

Our hotel room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. One area for improvement is the breakfast, which could be warmer, particularly the eggs & a toaster to toast your bread. Loved Hotel Rigas! Wonderful little family built and run hotel. Clean, safe and close to town! They had great breakfasts and helped booked our excursions. Felt like part of the family. Great value and we would definitely go back!

Wonderful hotel, perfectly located with beautiful and spacious rooms. Breakfast was to die for. I was sad to leave, if I come back to Milos I would stay there again in a heartbeat

This place is a small family owned business and its like a bed and breakfast. Our room was a little dated but the service and home made food for breakfast made up for it. It's in a convenient area, a 5 minute walk to the port, shops and food. We would definitely stay there again.

All of the staff were amazing and kind. They went out of their way to be sure we knew the best places to go and that we had a good time on the island. I would recommend this place to anyone coming to Milos.

Excellent stay at Hotel Rigas. Property is exactly as described. Is a short walking distance from the town centre, less than five mins for me, so quiet but good access to everything. From the point of booking, Panos and Christos were incredibly helpful in arrange airport transfer and anything I could need on the island. Including tours, car hire and ferry re-booking. Thank you gents.

Hôtel familial simple. Chambre spacieuse pour 3, les lits sont bons et les propriétaires sympathiques. Petit déjeuner correct sans plus. Bémol pour la salle de bain, petite et très vite inondée car pas de douche fermée. Assez loin du centre ville mais aussi de la plage : l’hôtel est à mi chemin des deux: 10 minutes de marche au bord d’une route très fréquentée. À pied du port compter 20 minutes (pas pratique).
