I loved how the hotel was so clean and looks brand new. What I disliked was the staff, at least one of the ladies. I checked in on the 3rd of July about 3pm and the lady that attended me was so rude. I’m assuming it was the end of her shift, she spoke to me like I was a slow human being. I registered my name with my first and my fiancé last name. Not sure how that happened but she was very rude about it as if I was not giving her my correct information. The next day she was very friendly but if you are having a bad day don’t take it out on anyone but yourself . Other than her I had a great stay! Loved everything about the pool and room.

we had gone here to get a feel for the area and this was such a perfect location to get the everything. you are 20 - 25 min to all the local beach towns from Lewes all the way to Ocean city . it is a newer location and kept verry clean with a welcoming staff. plenty of parking and a very safe feel.

It was wonderful! We went to see Train in concert and picked this location which was closer to the venue than the beach. The hotel was immaulate, the beds were comfortable, pool was really nice and warm. The free breakfast had a good amount of choices. The coffee machine ground the beans for brewing. Nice outdoor seating area for a night cap was also very nice. This hotel was awesome! We'll l be back!

This hotel is very clean. It has a decent fitness room. The breakfast is just okay (eggs, potatoes, couple choices of cereal, oatmeal, bagels, fruit). The bananas were very ripe. Our bed was in need of mattress replacement. Overall, it is a nice hotel and would recommend.

Stayed here after a softball tournament in the area. The property was very clean and beds were comfortable. Staff was extremely cordial and the check in was fast (and earlier than I expected). Breakfast was a nice touch and the 24 hour coffee bar was even better. This hotel also has a pool that was well maintained and clean. Would absolutely stay here again if in the Millsboro/Georgetown area.

When we checked in the room they gave us had not been cleaned yet. They quickly and kindly changed our room but even though the new one had been turned over, there was still hair on the shower wall and spatter marks of some kind on the floor.

Whole the room seemed clean at first look, my wife wiped the bathroom tile grout with a kleenex and a black substance came up. We obviously have no way of knowing what the substance was without test equipment, we do that this black substance was very visable on much of the grout. Very surprising given how new the motel is....and also disappointing.

Everything was fine with my room and stay, very clean, very nice staff. There was an "odd" smell, faint in the lobby, much worse in the first-floor hallway where my room was. I could not identify it, was either related to sewage/plumbing or some kind of horrible cleaner. I was very unpleasing, luckily it did not permeate into the room, which again, was fine.

I travel for a living. This is the worst IHG hotel I have ever seen. It is not clean and the staff are extremely rude and unprofessional. Be very careful with your credit card if you do stay here. It is not in a nice area, sketchy and loud. I do not recommend the Avid hotel in Millsboro, DE. There are far better places nearby.

This was my second time staying here and everything was great. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel still looks brand new and the staff were very friendly.

Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Liked the coffee/tea in lobby 24/7. The only issue was that the hallways smelled like pets. It is a dog friendly hotel, but I didn’t expect the halls to smell of them. I would have given 5 stars otherwise

Absolutely Fabulous Hotel, Staff, Kind, Courteous, Friendly & very Accommodating, Rooms, impressibly clean, almost Spotless, The entire facility was very clean inside and out... One suggestion, Some type of slip proof mat needed in showers, there so clean there very slippery, when showering. Thank you for an Amazing Stay !!!!!!!

Our room door was difficult to close (lock). The lock mechanism and strike plate don’t line up there for the door was time consuming to lock as it needed a very full force slam to successfully lock it. Locking it from inside the room was even harder to lock.

Room was very clean. Customer service at check-in was average. We weren't told about the complementary continental breakfast. It was inconvenient to not have a tea/coffee pot in the room. The bathroom sink didn't drain property. The toilet made a loud noise and took forever for the tank to fill after every flush.

There is one sore spot. Two of us were sharing a room which is equipped with only one chair. I realize there are also two cushioned boxes to sit on, but NO THANK YOU. Only one of us could be seated at a time. Sitting on a bed or box just doesn't cut it if a person has to read or type or even if the two of us wanted to eat take out at the desk. It doesn't have to be a rolling desk chair; a simple 4-legged chair would be fine. A second issue is the shower head. I could see it was adjustable and I could tap the bottom of it to re-aim it a bit, but at 5'10" with 36" sleeves, I could not reach the handle that would allow adjustment of the flow. That would have been nice, but it is not nearly as important as the second chair.

this is a really cute and neat hotel, very efficient in how everything is laid out and designed. the fact that the rooms are not carpeted means they can be a little loud if you're underneath; i was on the first floor and it sounded like the people above me were moving furniture. and the view right now out front is of a construction site, so the surroundings are blah. but for the price, it's well worth it.

The shower door wouldn't stay closed. It kept sliding open while I was showering. Also, one of the alarms had a strobe light that kept flashing during the night. It was very disturbing.

Son fell ill, and neded to rush to hospital. Hotel wouldnt provide refund. Expedia reached out and they couldn't get them to reconsider. Booked on Friday for a Sunday stay, so obviously it was an emergency.

My stay was good. One issue: i booked 3 rooms under my credit card, 1 for me 1 for 2 friends. One of my friends tested positive for Covid that morning and needed to cancel his trip with us. I ask the person at the front desk if she could cancel the room but she said she would have to check with the mgr and have him call me. I left my name and phone number with her, but never received a call. Bad business

It was amazing. The people at the front desk went above and beyond expectations. From helping us find the Raven's football game to helping us with a printing need. The house keeping staff was friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was clean and easy to locate. Unfortunately, I endured a mostly sleepless night due to loud neighbors. The hotel has a "night hours" policy (10:00 pm - 8:00 am) posted in various places and the elevator, requesting guests refrain from loud conversations, slamming doors, etc. during those hours. Unfortunately, the staff does nothing to enforce the policy. Given other options, I would never stay at this hotel again.

We were very happy with our stay here. The breakfast is good, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the place it modern and the grounds are kept nice. There a lots of places to eat and convenience shopping around. I wish the front desk was a little more familiar with the distance from rehoboth beach tho. We called ahead of time to verify the timing from the beach and the front desk said without traffic, 15 to 20 minutes. In all actuality it was a minimum of 40 minutes without traffic. Otherwise this hotel was a great fit for us.

Great location, convenient to gas, food, groceries and shopping. It looked newer and was clean and modern. Eco friendly with large refillable dispenser of soap, lotion, conditioner and shampoo. Bed was comfy, 4 pillows. No closet, but had hooks. Depending on your clothes, hangers would be nice. Overall, very nice. Complimentary breakfast was nice with eggs included. Nice selection of breakfast foods...something for everyone.

The hotel is a very basic, "only what you need" accommodation. No restaurant, no bar and a refrigerated soda, water frig that you had to pay for at the front desk with cash. Restaurants were within walking distance, however. Staff was courteous and knowledgeable. Pricing was consistent for the area, that is expensive for what you got, but expected, as there are not many options in the area. Breakfast was adequate offering hot and cold items and fruit. Coffee makers were type that freshly ground your coffee for each cup. Overall a good experience.

Hotel is new and very clean. The room is nice and bed is comfortable with big comfy pillows. The shower was nice with good water pressure. Refrigerator was nice and cold. The A/C worked great! They had a big coffee station available all the time. Good location, easy drive to Rehoboth Beach. Good restaurant close by. Liked this hotel very much and would stay again!

The only thing noteworthy of needed improvement is the continental breakfast availability. The first morning of my stay was fine but the next two morning were not. I needed to be on a job site by 7:00 a.m. and was surprised when the lady was just heading to the kitchen at 6:35 a.m. to begin setup.

Overall, really nice hotel and it was a lovely surprise. I love that they have a refillable water station with both still and sparkling water options and coffee that is made by the cup. Rooms were quiet and no carpet, yay! The bathrooms have nice products, Dove, and it was overall a nice experience. Breakfast options were fine. A step above a continental but not a full bar, but enough to get your day started. I would recommend if you are staying in the area.

It was okay for a night. The walls and floors were thin which made for some unwanted noise. Breakfast was mediocre and the trash cans in the breakfast area were not being emptied, even with 3 staff members in sight.
