Great stay. My only gripe is that the parking lot isn't next to the property. It was about a 5 minute walk. Other than that, the place is solid. I would stay here again.

Hôtel bien situé proche de la gare pour accéder aux 5 terres. Chambre spacieuse (suite deluxe pour 4 personnes) et bon petit déjeuner. Le personnel est très accueillant. Seul bémol: le parking est assez cher (20euro par jour) et on vous facture une journée entière même si vous laissez la voiture une demi-journée.

Excellent hôtel. Propre avec un personnel courtois. Chambre confortable avec une bonne literie. Stationnement vraiment limité mais on peut réserver notre place à l’avance.

Hotel bem localizado com distância a pé para os principais pontos da cidade. Quarto muito bom e confortável só falta um armario, tem uma arara. Banheiro muito bom . Café de manhã ótimo com boa variedade. Atendimento também muito bom com boas recomendações de restaurantes. O elevador é que poderia ser mais arejado.

Hotel based in ZFL so difficult to access by car - either you pay 20€/night for the hotel parking (away from the hotel) or find a park space nearby - good luck as there aren’t many with blue lines Hotel is quite small and breakfast is Okay but just standard Rooms don’t offer a nice view - at least mine wasn’t

Everything was so pleasant about this hotel! The staff were very friendly. Only thing I wish it gave better information were about parking. There were no parking lot in the premise. It’s 500m away. Also I wish it had better amenities.

Very clean hotel, excellent breakfast. Nice helpfull personell, perfect parking facilties for a reasonable daily rate of 20 euro. We had a superior room, we never have seen such a large bed: 2 x 1,20 width. The airconditiong was making a very loud noise, maybe only on our room. We always travel with earplugs, so its nog an issue for us. The location lies in one line between the Ferry 15 min walk and the train station 5-10 min walk.

Nice hotel in a great area. No elevator to level I was on, but the ladies offered to carry my bags. No thanks. In room refrigerator makes some noise. Construction in the alley where my window was facing. No view at all. Breakfast was reasonable; I saw they were making speciality coffee for some but this was not offered to me.

We stayed only for one night and I was bitten by bedbugs in the middle of the night. Woke up at 5, went to the lobby and they only offered a room change. They even wanted to charge me for parking after that and they offered nothing else. We only took a shower and left as soon as we were done. Really bad experience.

Fun and cozy hotel with unique decor in and around the lobby. Room was as expected with the exception of quite a bit of dirt, scuffs, and liquid spilled stains on one of the wall next to the bed. Bathroom and shower were great.

Well maintained and modern hotel in an older building which added to the character. The room was comfortable, clean and well appointed. Location was good with a short walk to both the port and areas with restaurants. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

The common areas on the property are very cute and welcoming. The room is also very cute, but I did leave the property with bug bites and I read that there may have been bedbug situations that people have experienced in the past. I can’t confirm that that’s where the bites came from but I did get them only after sleeping through the night. The location of the property felt pretty unsafe and dirty.

We arrived early and they were able to store our luggage for us. Hotel has a very nice modern look. Room was great bathroom was modern and big. Great location just a block from central square lots of restaurants and shops and cafes. A 10 minute walk from the train station. Very comfortable and convenient. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

Beautiful decor inside, had an elevator, rooms were stylish and modern, they had some toiletries for free that we needed which were great and helpful, parking is easy around the streets and free, close to a lot of things, front desk was nice enough.

Good shout out to the 2 ladies who checked me in upon arrival - extremely friendly and helpful! Walking distance to the train station and all the cool cafes & restaurants. Small but tastefully designed room. Wall is so thin that one could hear my neighbour talking next door. Would suggest to the mgt to perhaps consider putting a water kettle in all the rooms.

The beds were great at this hotel. The room was comfortable and appreciated we could use our Netflix account on the TV. The room was too hot and had to pop open the window as the thermostat was on a lock. The soap and shampoo weren't to my taste, smell was off-putting. Its about a 20 minute walk to the marina area and a 15 minute walk to the train station. Most staff were friendly and helpful.

Nice and modern hotel well located in the city center. 8 min from the station and the harbour. The Main Street are 2 min away. The hotel is modern and rooms are comfortable. Breakfast offers a variety of good food. Parking is limited to 8 cars so book in advance.

While the common areas look great in photos, the rooms are very poorly and cheaply renovated - vinyl flooring is peeling up at the corners, looks like it was the painters first day on the job, the bathroom is crammed despite the room being large. There’s nothing about the rooms that justify the “luxury” tag on this hotel. Breakfast was offered for 20 euros which is a lot considering a croissant and cappuccino at the coffee shop down the street costs 2.30 euros.

We really enjoyed our visit at The Poet Hotel! The room was modern and spacious. The staff was so helpful. We had to leave early in the morning and they packed us a nice breakfast to go. The front desk women really went way out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. Dinner suggestions and great directions. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it. The hotel is very clean and the staff were great. We arrived quite early and they let us store our luggage until our room was ready. They had the room ready for us well before check in time which we really appreciated because we were tired from the trip. They had even delivered our luggage to the room by the time that we got there. The room was spacious and very clean. The only thing I missed was a kettle or coffee maker. It’s in a great location with lots of options for breakfast in the area if you didn’t want to eat at the hotel. Overall an excellent stay. We really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it.

This hotel was the perfect place to stay when going to Cinque Terre if not staying in one of the towns. It was about a 5 minute walk to the train station in a nice area with some good restaurants near by. The hotel staff was great and held onto our bags for us since we arrived prior to check in time. They even put our luggage in our room when it was ready so we wouldn’t have to take it up the stairs.

Property is very nice, clean, and convenient. However, we were disappointed with alleged VIP room upgrade. An upgraded room was available but only offered to us if we paid for upgrade. Not what we bargained for or what was promised by Expedia VIP amenity. Otherwise, hotel is very good. Outstanding breakfasy crew.
Property is very nice, clean, and convenient. However, we were disappointed with alleged VIP room upgrade. An upgraded room was available but only offered to us if we paid for upgrade. The hotel's location was excellent, and the room I stayed in was comfortable. However, my experience was marred by a staff member who exhibited erratic behavior and an unsupportive manager. I lost my rental car key and asked the manager for help in communicating with the guest blocking the rental towing car from pulling my car. Shockingly, she refused to assist, disregarding the possibility of missing my flight. I had to personally approach the guest, who kindly agreed to move his car. This incident was extremely disappointing, as the manager missed an opportunity to provide much-needed assistance, given the multiple issues I encountered during my stay.

Hotel was cute and comfortable. Bed was wonderful! Area around hotel was a little rough, but that’s usually the case for hotels near train stations. Very convenient location for daily train travel as it was a short walk to the train station. A quick walk down, there was a great shopping and dining area. I would definitely recommend for Cinque Terre travel and would stay here again.

The Poet Hotel is a very nice building with clean interiors and comfortable rooms. It was exactly what we were looking for in a hotel that mainly served as a place to stay. It’s located very close to the Main Street where there are fantastic restaurants and nightlife. However the street its on is quite dark and slightly dirty. The staff were friendly, kind, and helpful. The service was okay, as our room was cleaned each day but the minibar was not filled. Also, the phone in the room did not work which made it difficult to call the hotel.

The common areas on the property are very cute and welcoming. The room is also very cute, but I did leave the property with bug bites and I read that there may have been bedbug situations that people have experienced in the past. I can’t confirm that that’s where the bites came from but I did get them only after sleeping through the night. The location of the property felt pretty unsafe and dirty.

We stayed here to use as a base for Cinque Terre and also Florence and Pisa. The hotel was nice and modern, clean, comfortable and had an excellent shower. It’s a 5 minute walk to the train station which is handy and there are some nice bars close by. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety and the staff were all pleasant.

Stayed here to visit cinque Terre as well as boat around the sea. The Poet is a quick walk to the train station and also close to some great restaurants and areas to walk/shop. Hotel is clean and staff were very kind. Rooms are climate controlled and wash refreshing to walk into a cool room at the end of the day. Loved the balcony from the room. Just know that breakfast isn’t included.

The poet hotel was very clean due to the hard work of the cleaning staff. The rooms were quite spacious and all facilities toilet, shower, bidet and showers were perfectly functional. The air conditioning was excellent and it was very much needed for our stay in a July 2025 heatwave. The receptionist staff were very helpful and professional. On the downside the breakfast is really boring, we found it had healthy food but nothing that you would expect at a similar priced hotel for breakfast - and the Poet hotel is pricey. For breakfast there was only one staff person for 30 people who I counted. That ratio left them struggling to clean up and reset the tables and also refill the orange juice etc which was often empty. We felt sorry for the breakfast staff who did the best they could. We felt that the breakfast person ( they did change every few days) was under pressure. There is no bar, cafe or day restaurant apart from the breakfast bar and there is a distinct lack of charachter in this very functional hotel. I feel it is so lean it must be a great moneymaker for the owners.

The hotel was ok, but it did not have a restaurant on site, which I find comfortable if you come back tired and do not wish to go out to dinner or even to do room service. Housekeeping service did not replenish soap or other toiletries. The area is ok too, not too many fine dinning options and there is nothing at all to visit in La Spezia. If you do not wish to stay in one of the Cinque terre cities, La Spezia is a good option since it is quite big.

Checked in early and we got a room without waiting. Our VIP Access status was recognized and received a free drink for each person in the room. The room was nice, comfortable and clean with nice soaps. The breakfast was also good. We had to check out early before breakfast started and the staff was so helpful to give us two takeaway bags upon checking out. The location was also very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel.
