The price the convenience to downtown the friendly staff. The place could use some work outside for more appel. I felt safe but the two key system would have been easier if the two keys looked different in someway and it was difficult to open the outside door very heavy to open.

When we checked in, it took several minutes to get someone to the front desk, but once he was there he was friendly and helpful. the place was pretty much what we expected, a little run down, but still in good shape, a little dated but nice enough for the cost. The first morning, there were no spoons for the coffee. The second morning, there was no coffee for the coffee. I don't do much until I get caffeinated, so that was a big problem for us, had to try and pack up and get to Timmies. Overall it was fine, and still great for the price.

Great prices. Cool common kitchenette with coffee, ice and microwave, 3 sinks and nice mugs. Decor is not unlike your grandparents basement, but whatever. Quiet neighborhood near downtown.

I really liked this motel. The room was clean, the bed was amazing and you can see the Frank Lloyd Wright details everywhere. Who knew this little gem was in Canada? You can also walk to downtown and park for free.

This is an older hotel but my room was impeccably clean and the comfortable bed made for a great sleep. One of the best things about this hotel is the ten minute walk to bustling downtown Collingwood.

5stars when it comes to cleanliness. Check in and out super easy and staff was friendly. Hotel could use some updates but again, it was unbelievably clean. We would definitely stay there again.

Nasty carpet, very grimy. Stains on sheets. Horrible AC extremely loud, and if you term it off it gets so humid and musty because the windows don’t open, impossible to sleep. You suffer from a loud AC or unbreathable conditions. You can smell that dog’s and cats sleep on the beds. It’s supposed to be pay upon arrival but they charged our credit card before we got there, taking away our option to use our business debit card. The only good thing was the shower and sink, our toilet clogged twice. The service was pretty good. Good location.

The photos are deceiving. Smelly room. Dirty and very washed out linen. We had to go to Walmart and buy our own bed linen. Bar soaps were broken. We spent one night and it was more than enough. Also the only staff who talked to me on the phone wasn’t friendly and polite.

Disgusting! I don't know where to start...arrived in room to find a USED CONDOM at the foot of the bed. Told the desk manager...he came to the room I told him where the condom was..he looked everywhere but the place I told him even though it was in pretty clear view as if he was playing a game! Finally he looked at the condom and said "oh it's just garbage" and basically brushed my concerns off! We should've just left there and then but didn’t have any other available options. Upon further inspection there were stains on the sheets and towels, (we requested clean sheets but never received them) hair (that was not ours) thick dust on the window blinds, cobwebs...need i go on? We checked out a night early, telling the desk manager our concerns and reasons for leaving...all he said was that it was our choice to leave and did not offer any compensation. If I could give zero/5 rating I would.

I knew the rooms here hadn't changed since the 50s but it bothered me that the room was freezing when I arrived. It was -15 out and took a while to get remotely warm. TV didn't work either and there was no one at the front desk. Great price and location though.

The room was quite small, and as it was only my five year old and myself, it was fine. Everything was unplugged except for the TV, including the mini fridge and lights. Whether that’s planned (for eco purposes) I don’t know, but it’s the first time I’ve ever encountered that. The light above the bed didn’t work. The AC was extraordinarily loud, though that could be because of the overall size of the room. There were two odd “doors” as windows that opened underneath the window, one of which had a garbage bag taped on. The bed was comfy. The TV kept me in a YTV loop, every channel somehow defaulted to YTV. Wifi was garbage, it was very slow in between the constant cutting out. The lady at the front desk was friendly enough and check in was a breeze. I’d probably stay again with my kid, as it wasn’t a terrible experience, and we were only there to sleep, but if I were traveling with my girlfriend, I don’t think we’d stay here.

it was really a bad experience bcz we booked aa room and no one was there at reception to attend us and we didn’t got check-in and keys we have to stay out . and it was worse experience ever i ll never recommend anyone about that hotel

Honestly the location at first seems a bit sketch. But it’s by far the most reasonable price for a room in the area. Staff are super friendly, room is old and a bit out dated but very clean and nice to stay. Older property but enjoyed my stay very much. Would recommend

When we checked in, it took several minutes to get someone to the front desk, but once he was there he was friendly and helpful. the place was pretty much what we expected, a little run down, but still in good shape, a little dated but nice enough for the cost. The first morning, there were no spoons for the coffee. The second morning, there was no coffee for the coffee. I don't do much until I get caffeinated, so that was a big problem for us, had to try and pack up and get to Timmies. Overall it was fine, and still great for the price.

Le sofa était incorfortable et pas de piece séparé pour le salon. Petit frigidaire qui n'était pas approprié étant donné que nous restions pour 5 jours. Pas de cafetière ni micro-onde. C'est une cuisinette communautaire. Aucun repas servi sur place, ni de machine a manger. En general, pas si pire.

The ceiling fan looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. The bedsheets were stained as well the towels. One night we had difficulty with the television. The couch in the room was terrible. For seniors like us it was so low to the ground that we had difficulty getting up from it. The property is old and needs some upgrading
