Terrace Suites

I was travelling with family of four and from the location stand point the view was super nice, location gave an amazing lake view and sun set views. There was enough parking available right in front of the rooms. Accessibility was spot on. The checkin was smooth and we were given the best room in hotel with proper space for family of four, it was clean, spotless, the two queen beds plus the folding inbed in lounge was enouth to even sleep up to 6 in this room. The one full bath and an added half bath in main room was very convenient for four people sharing space. Kitchenette had proper fridge with freezer, large microwave, water kettle, coffee maker, all pans, crockery and cutlery needed for up to 6 people. The breakfast though is not fresh and warm in morning served in any common space, but they took our order from given menu and delivered very nicely packed before 9pm and with microwave in room one can easily warm it up in morning. This was actually better for us as we checked out by 5am in morning. Check out process was also very smooth with key drop box next to office room. Everything about the property made our stay even though only for one night way more cozy and comfortable. I am definitely staying here on my next trip in town. Must stay place, fully recommend.

Great service, great staff, rooms are very very good. I’ve stayed in many hotels over the last year and a half and this place is by far the best quality and bang for your buck. The grounds are beautiful with amazing views of Callander bay. It might seem far away from North Bay but it’s really not. Max ten minutes even if you take the slower route. Best choice in the area unless you are stuck with the idea of having a restaurant in the building. Stay here and go for dinner. And no I was not compensated for my review lol

Beautiful sunset, fire pit, golf. Absolutely what I needed.

The room was great and housekeeping done daily. the only down side was the very sketchy WiFi!

The place is part of a golf coarse across the street from a lookout over the bay. Just beautiful. The town is nearby where there's a great bistro. Asphalt parking lot, which matters for my Harley.

From the greating of the host to a great evening around a bon-fire this was an excellant stay. The view was incredible. as was the complex. We hope someday to return for a longer stay.

Was there 3 nights and told front staff about wifi problem each day and was not address so had to hotspot with my data. There was no restaurant as advertised on expedia so you have to travel by car to get food. For a VIP Expedia hotel i expect better!

Best place in the area, nothing compares. There is a great little par3 golf course on site, the rooms are spacious. Very romantic with hot tub and fireplace. Quiet setting that really allows you to get away and disconnect.

Beautiful… in awe of how wonderful place this is to get away too! Second time there. Polite, friendly, out going staff. Great job ladies!! Golf course is a great lay out. Peaceful and quiet. We will be back:)

Very clean, great staff

The hotel is perched on a hill overlooking the lake and the view is amazing. The space has been renovated in the last 5 years or thereabouts so it looks modern and is comfortable. Unfortunatly there were two bothersome issues: 1) the countertops weren't properly washed and there was wetness and dirt under the condiment tray. 2) we had mice in our unit so on my second night, I chose to sleep in my car in the parking lot. I had recieved a text from the hotel that communicated some info, which was a nice touch. When i texted a note to let thwm know, a reply came thay it was after hours and provided a number to call for emergencies. I expected a call or text in the morning but nothing came. Upon checkout, i was not asked about my stay so made the assumption no one cared. They must know as there are mouse bait boxes in the cupboards in the units. U fortunately our mice liked blueberries and cupcakes more.

Room furniture looked like it had not been vacuumed. Receptionist was nice enough to give us another room, seemed cleaner , however some areas , not so much.

We stayed for four nights. During that time I requested someone freshen the room (replace towels, toilet paper and take care of the garbage, clean dishes, cups and utensils.) None of that happened except towels were dropped off on the last day and nothing else. By the time we left there was no toilet paper and the garbage was overflowing. I had to request coffee for the mornings as nothing was ever dropped off and we had to clean our own dishes cups and utensils using hand soap and bathroom towels. Im not sure if it was a problem communicating with the staff or an oversight. The rooms were nice and the location beautiful.but the issue with cleaning the rooms makes me think twice about ever coming back.

I loved my weekend away here at Terrace Suites! The view is absolutely beautiful, the room was spotless, and the staff was amazing. I will definitely plan other stays here!

Pet hair and food crumbs throughout the room. When I asked to have it vacuumed, they did but still covered in pet hair. The breakfast was a frozen sandwich that was disgusting.

Room was clean and updated. Bed was very comfortable, and shower was excellent. Would stay here again when we are in the area.

Property/room was beautiful, housekeeping could have been better had to clean up a bit(couch was full of sugar/candy from previous guests). As well since our room was beside the main office the noice was ongoing until around 1-2am(doors being closed hard/people talking).

We were very pleasantly surprised. The unit was really nicely renovated and spotless as were the grounds.

Good spot to stay when traveling. Doors on the rooms are steel and walls/ceiling are not very sound proof, but if you don’t mind hearing your neighbours it’s not a bad spot to stay.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was renovated top to bottom with everything you need. The most thing I liked was the fridge which had a separate freezer that you don’t frequently find in hotels. The room was very big and had a sofa bed.

I stayed for a couple of days in a beach-view room. The location was beautiful, offering a relaxing atmosphere and scenic surroundings. The room amenities were well-maintained, and both the room and washroom were clean. The staff were courteous and generally pleasant to interact with. However, the air conditioning was not functioning throughout my stay. When I requested a room change, the staff were hesitant and unable to resolve the issue. Fortunately, the evening weather was cool enough to manage with the window open, but the daytime heat made it quite uncomfortable. Breakfast options were limited, and several items were unavailable, which made the experience below expectations. Overall, while the property has great potential due to its location and cleanliness, the unresolved A/C issue and limited breakfast selection affected the overall comfort and value of the stay.

Amazing location. The property is lovely. Rooms are spacious and have good amount of amenities.

The room we’re in wasn’t great. It was loud, you could hear other rooms conversations clearly with door closed. Also the room above the walking annoying, you heard every step all day/night. Bed was comfortable and room was spotless but overall it was a disappointment.

Wonderful views from our 2nd floor suite both out front and out back. Personal jacuzzi in room, fireplace viewable from main room, jacuzzi and bedroom, kitchenette with toaster and kettle, microwave and dishes. Breakfast delivered the night before. Quiet in the room.

Room didn't have any heat, neither the baseboards or the fireplace worked. They gave us a small space heater for the night. The room got to 64 degrees by the time we left at 8:30 am. Would have at least liked to have gotten a thank you for the inconvenience or a reduction in room price.

This is a pretty property situated upon a hill with a nice somewhat distant view of the Lake. We were assigned to a room advertised with a lake view, however it was in the basement through three doors to get to it and down a flight of stairs. It had no view whatsoever, just a small window. It was not acceptable and the front desk found us a very nice alternate room at a much higher price. No refund was issued or taken into account. We had at this point paid in full for two rooms. The new room was very nice in all ways. Instructions for working the coffee machine would have been helpful, as well as cups that fit but otherwise nice. The frozen breakfast delivered in the evening for the following morning was minimal and unappetizing - however there is no restaurant close by so I can see that they are trying to help. It's not good but I don't have a suggestion to offer. It took four days with no sign of a refund for us to phone and ask...within an hour we received word of our refund. Good but it should have been done right away. All in all, it's actually a very nice property especially for this area which hasn't a lot, but the basement room should not be rented to anyone and the staff could have handled it a little better.

We were met by the amazing Kostas, who was friendly, helpful and welcoming. The suite is beautiful and tastefully decorated. Things such as light switches are labelled clearly. Everything is lovely and the view is fantastic. Highly recommend.

It was a beautiful spot, very high end for what you pay. Staff not very friendly and don’t really have good communication skills, they didn’t let me know what to expect when I arrived, just figured I knew what to do. When we got there we couldn’t find our room, due to poor instructions. Then in the morning we got a complaint from the staff about our children reading “hello, sorry for bugging you, if you have a child in your care can you handle this” 1: i dont know what she was talking about 2: i put 4 people (2 adults 2 kids) when I booked the room so they should know I have kids? 3: I can’t exactly put a muzzle on my kids, we told them to be quiet but there’s only so much you can do. I don’t think we will be staying there again, again, it was a beautiful place, but the staff definitely ruined it.

Terrace Suites is a wonderful little place to get away. Has an older charm on the outside but restored and modernized. The staff were so polite, welcoming, attentive and willing to help with any request. The firepit was so neat to have a fire at night, wood provided. The view is beautiful!!! Thankyou for a wonderful stay.

This was just a quick stop over on a much longer road trip but a delightful stay. Kostas, at reception, was super friendly and helpful. I was excited to hear that a spa is coming in the old Lookout Inn building which I remember from childhood. Next time we come, this will be our destination, not a stopover.

Once we got into the room the heating/air conditioning was not working. We were offered an upgrade for $100/night more. Otherwise a full refund and we would have to find another place to stay. Staff was rude and would not do anything else to accommodate even though they were not fully booked. The “water view” room gave us a lovely view of their septic bed.

Everything was great, the accommodations and, in particular, the staff were very friendly.

The staff is great! So polite and helpful. They really care. They go above and beyond any experience I've had. I would highly recommend. And will definitely be back.

Not told until next morning tv out of order(1channel, in dead zone awaiting repair), sitting over boiler room(temp went from 70°pm to 75°by 6am HOT!!), expresso? coffee maker inoperative, had to get staff to fix,+ no cups to fit the unit!!, staff had to open door(unusual lock key not clearly advised how to operate), told owner would not deal/respond to complaint as we used EXPEDIA, WE HAD TO ADVISE THEM!!! GREAT PROPERTY, TOO BAD !!!! WOULD LIKE A SUITABLE PRICE ADJUSTMENT ACCORDINGLY ! WORST EVER EXPERIENCE!!

This property was really comfortable, clean and quiet!! Thankfully the very helpful accommodating staff had upgraded us to a room that was available for 2 nights, since Expedia booked us in a room that was only available for 1 night va 2 that we requested. Therefore making a false booking, we were not impressed. Overall we would go back there again and not book through Expedia!!!

The hotel was great. Short drive to some restaurants and the par 3 golf course was great.

Driveway was a little difficult to locate. Otherwise great!

stayed in Terrace Suites 2 times for Fall season; quiet and good location, not too far away from North Bay and other parks for trails. Love the lookout spot right across the street of this hotel. It's dark enough for stargazing. Recommended.

Property was great, check in was really easy and we arrived just in time to catch the most amazing sunset over the bay. Great view right from the property definitely make sure you arrive before dark to enjoy it!

Nice cozy room,very quiet during the week and relaxed atmosphere. The room had good Hvac system, nice little food prep area with fridge, micro, toaster and kettle. All the staff we met were nice and the manager Marina was on top of things. The only issue is one of the picture windows with the attractive water view needed replacing as it was fogged up. Management was aware of it and was on their repair list. We will definitely return to this location on our next visit.

Great hotel, cottage-ey feel, located on top of those rocks that go along highway, right across from scenic lookout, fantastic, would definitely stay there again

Terrace Suites is situated in a beautiful spot with a stunning view. My suite was much larger than I'd expected and it was equipped with everything I could have needed. Although there are some minor design flaws, the suites are attractive looking and the bed was very comfortable. I and three of my neighbouring guests were unable to adjust the air conditioning, and it was extremely noisy when running, too. I was too cold, they were too hot, and none of us could manage to change the temperature for some reason. I found the pre-packaged breakfasts that were delivered to be most disappointing, but I could buy breakfast items for myself at a nearby market and kept them in the small fridge in the room. I would definitely stay again, since the setting, the style of buildings and the rooms themselves were all very appealing and overall comfortable.

The view is excellent. The actual entrance to the property off the highway is tricky.

We requested breakfast, but we never got it

Our only concern was the breakfast. It was given to us in the evening for the next day. We were to told to warm it in the microwave. Everything came prepackage and looked like it was ordered and purchased from an outside company. Truthfully we threw it out.

Nice grounds, polite friendly staff, beautiful views, and clean/quiet hotel. The breakfast delivered to the room is a nice touch, but is not contactless and arrived frozen. Be prepared to answer the door at 9am and heat it up on your microwave. Everything was tasty! Thanks - will be back.

Highly recommended. Helpful friendly host. Fully equipped large room. Log construction. Gas fireplace. View of Lake Nipissing. Perfect!!! Breakfast in room, in a box, items missing, artificial taste. Coffee maker didn’t work. Be sure to go. Just choose a nearby restaurant for breakfast.

Clean modern room. Excellent fridge, great wifi, quiet room and good shower. Breakfast was good with lots of options and the coffee was excellent.
