The hotel was clean and spotless, despite being on the older side. The front desk person was extremely friendly and helpful. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Though it wasn’t a hotel breakfast, the food was fresh and the area was clean.

Room was clean and the facility was well kept. We had no issues during our stay. I would stay there again.

Property needs work

Disliked that the washer and dryer did not work.

Pleasantly surprised. Joe was fantastic. Called to confirm the day before. Perfect checkin. Clean and comfortable. Good AC. Everything about property was remodeled and impressive.

Great stay despite being placed in a room next to the ice machine..

Very clean room and a great value. The room was spacious. There was a TV, microwave, fridge, and alarm clock. A basic room for a modest price. For a quick over night stay, this is the perfect place.

The room was clean but The bathroom did have a strong smell of urine. The door did not have a security latch. It had been removed. I put something in front of the door so I could hear if someone came in. The deadbolt did not work either. Scary! Housekeeping came in after one knock . I even told her to hold on.

The mattresses were hard as a rock. Pillows very uncomfortable. The ice buck had mildew in the lid which was unacceptable by all means. Did not enjoy our overnight stay at all.

When we initially checked in there was blood, yes blood, on the seat, lid and bowl of the toilet. I went to the office and they came and cleaned it. The lady used the toilet brush to clean the seat so I had to re clean it with Clorox wipes. We didn't check out at that time because everywhere close was full due to Greek fest and there was a large group of us. After we got back from dinner and everybody was settling in to their rooms my sister found dirty feet prints in between the sheets and then bugs, yes bugs, in the other bed. So as we were checking out beds there was blood on the sheets, dirt and grime. By this time it was 11pm and we were all exhausted, we went to the office and checked out and asked for a refund. The clerk initially said he was new and didn't know how to do it but that he would make sure the manager took care of it. We had exhausted children and took him at his word so we could find somewhere else and get to bed. We wound up having to drive to Galveston to find a hotel with rooms for our group. I contacted the property and Expedia and was refused refunds for myself and my sister by both. I have always booked thru Expedia and am disgusted that this was allowed to happen. We did not cancel or fail to show, we were forced to leave due to incredibly unsanitary conditions. I absolutely would not ever, recommend this hotel or any ran by the same family.

The room was ok. My main complaint is not major, there were no laps on the bedside table. That was inconvenient to because I like to read in bed a minute before laying my head down. There was a mini kitchen that might be nice for some, but it is never my intention to cook in a hotel or when traveling.

Just needed it for the night. Was clean, only small complaint i have is that the cable tv had a prompt screen that it needed to be updated, and i couldn't press 'ok' to get past and use the tv.

Took him nearly 30 minutes to reset then restart the tv. We were hoping for a continental breakfast and I call at 9:45 only to be told breakfast is over at 9:30. Another disappointment. I walk up to get coffee and return to the room that I’m unable to enter because they closed it on us. Had to walk back to the front desk and she did something to allow us back in. Lots of our time wasted on things malfunctioning.

The bed was hard and there were roaches in the room, we had to ask for extra toilet paper cuz they didn’t have enough in the bathroom in the first place, and breakfast options were awful, we left a day early and told the lady we weren’t happy with the room. They never even questioned why!

Rooms are great

I suppose this is okay for an overnight stay on a budget, but not beyond that. Everything is very minimal, TV was old and color was poor on some channels, limited choices, no traditional nightstand lamps, just these overhead lights which are too bright for when you're getting ready for bed. Also, be prepared for an extremely minimal "Continental" breakfast - cereal, toast, muffins, packaged snacks, coffee, milk and freaken Sunny D. It was clean though and relatively quiet; slight "old" smell in the room.

Very easy checking in. Nice price. The room was nice and clean. The bed a pillows very comfy. Felt safe with my children. The staff were so nice, even called as I was in route to check and ensure my safety as rain was heavy in the area. Will be booking again in the future for upcoming events.

Very good client service on the desk. The room was clean. The continental breakfast could get better.

Breakfast could have been better and pillows are hard. Especially for the price that was charged, i expected better.

Check in was pleasant as we did come in late and staff was very friendly. Room was clean and looked like the online pictures except the fridge did not work, no kitchen utensils or pans to cook with and no coffee available nor anywhere on property. You get what you pay for, I guess. Overall it fit our needs on such a short notice. Thank you for accommodating us.

I asked for a first floor room because my son had just gotten out of the hospital and had stitches in his legs. They said there was nothing available. For the 2 nights we stayed, the first floor had multiple rooms vacant. The windows were open so we could clearly see. Continental breakfast was coffee and honeybuns.

The room was clean. There was really no continental breakfast except for coffee and two dry cereals. No waffle machine or anything to be able to classify this as a Free Continental breakfast. Staff was nice and friendly.
