My family stayed here for 2 nights during a 2 and a 1/2 week vacation. It was a highlight of our trip. The hotel buffet breakfast was amazing, probably the best we’ve ever had anywhere. The staff were amazing as well. The food at the restaurant was top notch. The only downside is that there is no elevator in the building. But don’t let that deter you, the rest of the hotel more than makes up for it. The location is also great, close to everything- food, train, bus stop, and a great view of Hohes Castle.

Rigtig fint hotel, det var dog lidt svært at finde deres parkering. Vi havde tastet adressen fra bookingen i navigationen, og den ville hele tiden have os op igennem gågaden. Hotellet var sød til at hjælpe os med at finde deres parkering, som havde en anden adresse. Masser af muligheder for spisesteder omkring hotellet, som også har deres egen restaurant.

Das Hotel liegt direkt in der Altstadt vom Bahnhof 3-4 Minuten zu Fuß. Es war sauber und die Zimmer werden täglich gereinigt. Frühstück gibt es ein ausreichendes Buffet und ist für jedem was dabei. Das Personal ist höflich, nett und hilfsbereit. Es ist alles gut zu erreichen zu Fuß, Bus, Taxi usw. Das Restaurant im Hotel ist mit reichlicher Auswahl Speisen und Getränke sehr gut aufgestellt. Das Essen ist sehr gut und lecker.

So disappointing!!! The superior room we booked appeared clean but once staying there was not. The linen and towels were so worn and thin and some had holes in them. The daily service was poor…just folded the doona and plumped up the pillows. The floors were cleaned once during our 5 night stay. The room was located outside the main building above a garage where people congregated to smoke. The stairs leading up to a landing with 3 rooms was so dangerous as steep and winding with no handrail…would not pass health and safety in Australia and there was always a smelly odour in the stairwell. On the positive the breakfast was fabulous and a nice variety. We ate one in the restaurant and it was quite nice too.

Quarto andar, não havia elevador, o quarto extremamente quente e não havia janela, apenas um alçapão para o teto. O quarto estava sujo, pegamos dois tufos de cabelo, um no chão e um em cima do colchão. O estacionamento não tem lugar definido, é uma bagunça.

We found a very convenient that there was a restaurant in the hotel. Everything is very walkable and easy parking. However, there was a god awful smell in the hallway that led into our room a little bit. We hated the smell.

Hotel is in a beautiful historic building and very cute, but it doesn't have elevators or A/C. Tried keeping the windows open to cool down but it is very noisy on the main drag. Towels are thin and scratchy and the beds have a thin top that easily slid off at night. Had to readjust it several times through the night. Outside of the esthetics, I wasn't impressed with the overall quality, it was a very basic budget hotel.

The mattresses were the worst I have ever tried to sleep on. The top part kept trying to slid off. The size of the room was much worst than my military quarters. I would not recommend this hotel.

The location cannot be beat, the room was clean and overall we enjoyed our stay. Our only complaint would be that some staff were not pleasant or helpful, even dismissive at times when questions were asked. This did not happen all of the time, just occasionally over our four day stay.

Rooms are nice for a smaller town and in a nice walkable area. Front desk hours are limited so be sure to arrive within the stated timeframe. Staff spoke some english so that really helped!

Zimmer war in einem Nebenhaus ohne Fahrstuhl. Es wirkte alles sehr sauber und ordentlich vorgerichtet. Die Betten waren sehr weich und es gab leider keine Klimaanlage, sondern ausschließlich einen Ventilator. Das Frühsrücksbuffet war wirklich gut für 11 EUR p.P. Betrachtet man nun allerdings, dass dies nicht im Preis inkludiert gewesen sowie der Parkplatz mit 7.50 EUR pro Tag extra zu entrichten ist, würde ich das Hotel in Summe als mittelmäßig bezeichnen.

Excellent hotel right in the middle of town. Super walkable and offered a delicious breakfast. The room was quiet and comfortable. No elevator for our luggage, but we survived. Great shower and comfortable bed was all we really needed. The staff was awesome as well, very accommodating and allowed us to park at the hotel early and leave the car a little longer than our reservation so we could enjoy the town. Very friendly and helpful. Overall excellent stay.

Keine wirkliche Rezeption. Schlüssel gab es von einem Küchenmitarbeiter. Früh um 7 Uhr hat die Reinigungskraft so laut telefoniert und gesprochen das man dadurch wach wurde. Auf Bitten hin wurde dies für 10 Minuten eingehalten, aber dann ging es vor dem Zimmer direkt weiter. Auschecken war sehr unpersönlich und keine typische Standardfrage kam. Nicht mal ein „Guten Morgen“! Unterkunft liegt super in der Altstadt, aber nächstes Mal nehme ich lieber eine andere, wo der Gast noch gut behandelt wird!

Fantastic central location, walkable to all the main tourist sights. A very comfortable hotel and very quiet room despite the fact the hotel is right in the heart of the city and with parking too.

Enjoyed our stay. Great hotel smack bang in the middle of Fussen Altstadt. Walkable from train station. Room was a delight, clean and comfortable. We had a little balcony which was a bonus! No lifts so may require some climbing for higher floors. Hotel gave us a Fussen Pass which allowed free bus travel to Hohenschwangau and concessional tickets to the castles. Thank you for great memories of Fussen and Neuschwanstein!

Located in a great area! A few minutes walk away from the train station and multiple bus stops; many dining and shopping options on the same street as the hotel and in the immediate area. Within walking distance (or a short bus ride/drive) of Festspielhaus Neuschwanstein, St. Mang's Abbey, Lechfall, and more. Around a 10-15 minute bus ride or drive from Hohenschwangau, from which it's a 15-30 minute walk to Neuschwanstein Castle, Hohenschwangau Castle, Alpsee, etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious and clean. The room had a very nice bathroom area with a huge shower, and windows overlooking the main courtyard, where there is parking. Parking in the main courtyard area is limited, but the hotel has additional separate parking spaces. We had dinner at the restaurant attached to the hotel and had a good experience. The food was great and the atmosphere was very nice. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and exactly what we were looking for!

Quarto bonito e cama confortável, porém pequeno. Como fiquei uma noite não comprometeu. Localização excelente e estacionamento fácil. Restaurante muito bom! Das Hotel liegt direkt in der Altstadt vom Bahnhof 3-4 Minuten zu Fuß. Es war sauber und die Zimmer werden täglich gereinigt. Frühstück gibt es ein ausreichendes Buffet und ist für jedem was dabei. Great location. Walking distance from many shops, restaurants, and train station. Easy to access bus to neuschwanstein castle. Beautiful rooms with comfy beds. We were celebrating our anniversary and the staff surprised us with a welcome gift which was very thoughtful! Ludwig’s restaurant is also delicious.

My family stayed here for 2 nights during a 2 and a 1/2 week vacation. It was a highlight of our trip. The hotel buffet breakfast was amazing, probably the best we’ve ever had anywhere. The staff were amazing as well. The food at the restaurant was top notch. The only downside is that there is no elevator in the building. But don’t let that deter you, the rest of the hotel more than makes up for it. The location is also great, close to everything- food, train, bus stop, and a great view of Hohes Castle.

Clean and comfortable rooms, perfect location in the hearth of old town. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was really good. Onsite parking at the back of the hotel. We were not impressed with the breakfast, we went in for breakfast at 9 am, one hour before it ended, and they were already out of croissants.

Hotel was very cool. Right on the main walkway for Fussen, restartaunt downstairs, just a great place and atmosphere. Room was a little small for al 4 of us, but it worked just fine and was set up for us when we arrived. Parking area in the rear was a little tight...but it was also convenient and secure.

The room was comfortable and clean. I enjoyed that it was in the middle of town but there was no refrigerator in the room which sucks when you want to keep things cold. This does seem like a consistent pattern in European hotels. I guess I am a spoiled American on that end but that is the only down side to the hotel. Perfect location and wonderful staff members
