Stayed 1 night

Room was clean, staff were lovely but check in is pretty slow so be prepared for a bit of a wait. Our room was next to some kind of exterior air-conditioning vent and in the morning the noise outside was incredibly loud (enough to wake you up easily). The curtains are not ‘black out’ and let in a lot of light in the morning also so if you value your sleep bring an eye mask and ear plugs. The beds are only king-size and the shower is small and pressure is quite weak. There was a really strong sewerage smell in hallway leading to our room which seemed to be coming from the roof vents but thankfully the smell never made it inside the room. (Reception said they had someone looking into it). Overall I guess I really expected more for the high price per night. There is also an extra $20 per person charge to use the pool facilities per day and another $20 for parking per day on top which can really push the price up too. Overall it was perfectly adequate for a place to sleep and shower but definitely nothing “special” like we expected with the Hilton name.

The room was large with a nice view of the lake. The beds were comfortable. The buffet breakfast was very good with lots of options. The hotel is in a quiet location close to the airport with walking distance to a small shopping centre. There were nice walking paths around the lake. All staff are very friendly and helpful.
