Tweeddale Arms Hotel

Très bel endroit, typique de la campagne écossaise, pour les voyageurs cherchant le calme et la tranquillité. Pour l’animation et les sites à visiter, tout est à 30 minutes en voiture( centre Edimbourg, Roslyn chapel. Distillerie Glenkinchie….) il faut aller voir Gullane beach avec sa réserve naturelle, les villas victoriennes le long de la plage, le golf de part et d’autre de la route et de la réserve … Petit déjeuner écossais copieux, il faut tester leur haggis …

We stayed two nights with another 4 members of my family. Hotel had recently changed hands. It was a lovely quiet country inn in a small village with plenty of parking. Good pulic room for sitting with family and generally the hotel was very individual. Room had everything we needed including a bath with good hanging space.The manager was very hands on and a pleasant man. The lady doing the breakfast couldn't have done more and everything was freshly cooked and brought to the table. Excellent choice of food for breakfast. We didn't eat in the evening as we were visiting family but menu had a good selection. Had a problem with hot water in bath and sink to which the Manager was very attentive in trying to sort. Had a village shop but not much else but that was what we wanted. Lovely overall stay and definitely would return

£130 a night and not even offering a cooked breakfast?! Ridiculous.

Great service and central

Excellent stay. Room was a good size with a comfortable bed and a good shower. Breakfast was continental and perfectly presented. The evening meal was the biggest helping of fish and chips I have ever had.
