The staff who booked me was really great. The facility itself is a little run down, our doors had visible damage previously and then new locks put on which made me a little uneasy. The hot tub was out of service which was one of the reasons of booking here so that was a let down. There were barely any towels in the pool area as well, we had 2 for our family of 4, called for more towels and only a few more brought down but there were more people using the pool at this point. The breakfast is very simple (coffee, cereal, couple fruits, wraps in the fridge to warm up?), preferred to eat out. For the price, I don’t think this will be my go to stay in Lloyd.

Pool-slide was out of service. When asked staff what was wrong with it, we got told “I don’t know… I just got here!” Shrugged and walked away… the front staff was okay and the food was mediocre.

It’s an older hotel but they have made some upgrades. They were in the process of some renovations in a different hall and on a different level when we came. Our room was clean and the beds were comfy. The only complaint I had was the hallways and stairwells could’ve been vacuumed but other than that everything was great for our 2 night stay. The restaurant had good food, the service was great. The kids loved the pool, it’s a fair size, the hot tub is huge, the slide looks to be upgraded and was a lot of fun (even for the adults). Parking was easy and it’s just on the edge of the city so it felt very safe.

Very disappointed that the hot tub was not working and has not been working for many months. We drove 5 1/2 hours to use a hot tub pool and check out the new casino in Lloydminster. The room was good. Staff was good. Breakfast was also very good.

Service to rooms was good once done but they missed my room one day. Toilet flushing was “iffy”. No sink stopper in bathroom and easy to lose small items down the drain. Room charges were meant to stay at previous charge when I had to extend my stay for 2 nights. Had to get the charges rectified. Unless a customer is a trucker they should not put them in the back where the semis are often running very early in the morning. It is very noisy. I had to ask to be moved to the front. All in all I would have to say that the experience was adequate. It was 2 minutes away from the hospital which is the reason I was there.

Check in was fine. When I entered my king room it was nice. It was clean! I like the 2 entrances into the room. One from the hallway and the other was directly outside to the parking lot. However, there was no wifi all weekend and there didn’t seem to be any urgency to have it fixed! I asked the front desk staff and she said it will be looked at Monday.

Don’t stay at this hotel. The service is horrible (waiting 10 minutes to check in with no one at the front, had to call and ask to be checked in), people were drinking and partying with their hotel doors open, people walking around the parking lot, the pool is dirty and the hot tub doesn’t work.

Comfortable bed good food at the hotel restaurant but definitely noisy if your room is at the front of the hotel had to buy ear plugs as we were there three nights

The property is in a convient location Adjacent to the Yellowhead. There's a Tim's down the street with a Casino close nearby also thr COOP Gasbar. If you are looking for a place thats easily accessible this would be a great place.

Check in was great,very friendly. Nice place and a good restaurant. Only issue is it is right next to the highway. I will see what the night brings.

The pool/waterslide area was fantastic! The public areas & rooms were very clean & well maintained. Front desk staff also fantastic until it came to an item that was left behind in room. I called within hours of check out and was able to get someone to pick item up but no accountability for my item. Also the continental breakfast being provided by the on site restaurant, bad experience. Only allowed 1 drink, very limited meal - with extremely rude staff both days we were there. Toss up if we'd ever stay there again though.

The rooms are carpet and not clean. The bed sheets smelled like BO. The breakfast was very good but it is not the regular continental breakfast. You have to dine in and be served. 2 eggs, 2 pieces of toast and either ham, sausage or bacon. Cannot grab food to go. It would be nice if that was on the website for teams who are expecting a breakfast to be able to grab something and go.

Reception staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of parking. Room was clean and bed very comfy. Breakfast freshly made and sufficient. Good for an overnight stay. Second year back and hopefully might be a next visit. Thank you !

the rooms had nice furniture but all the rooms are smoked in and the smell is bad. the tub has cigarette burns in the bottom and on the counter top. most definitely would not recommend staying at this location. the property is more directed at quantity not quality.

The room was musty smelling but the beds were clean and comfortable. We were only given two towels for four people. The toilet was not working properly. We had to fill the toilet tank with a pail to help it flush properly. The hot tub was shut down. The restaurant staff were absolutely terrible. We ended up going to Tim Hortons to get a juice because we were just stared at by the waitresses, they were not helpful at all. I would not recommend.

Yes, and for staff when it’s check out day please have the workers not knock on doors as guests are still sleeping and check out time is at noon. The worker knocked on our door 3 times. Breakfast was awesome, parking was good too
