The cave room at the chateau is fantastic. Besides a couple of spiderwebs and some steep steps, it is truly a find in the Loire valley. Excellent space, oasis of rest, great sauna, even better hot tub!

Rien à dire sur cette prestation pour avoir réservé la suite troglodyte un vrai havre de paix tout confort petit déjeuner excellent sauna et bain norvégien privatif sans oublier une piscine exceptionnelle… le seul défaut bornes électriques pas adaptées

Amazing setting, very picturesque property. Our room was situated within a small rock face, it was absolutely amazing. Very well equipped and the sauna and hot tub was a luxurious touch! Great base for exploring nearby Amboise, about a 5-10 minute drive. Perfect!

We stayed here for 3 days and it is such a beautiful setting. Véronique and her staff are kind and very accommodating. When making our reservation, I did not plan to do breakfast here, but upon arrival we chose to get it, and I would recommend it. There are a variety of beverages and foods they offer, and the dining room setting is inviting and calm. There is so much care and love put into the breakfast and the room decor which makes for a relaxing stay. I asked for help with several things while there such as car rental, and Véronique helped with that. I recommend a car to be able to visit the area and surrounding areas. There is parking available at the Chateau as well as electric charging for vehicles. I'd love to return someday soon. We really enjoyed our stay, and we recommend Chateau de Nazalles!

A real highlight for us and a perfect honeymoon stop on our French roadtrip. A standout location with the most stunning pool- pure luxury. The hosts couldn't do more to help us & were on hand whenever we needed them. The local town is definitely worth exploring! Just beautiful. We'd love to go back for longer. Highly recommend!

The Chateau was such a beautiful and peaceful area to stay. Our host Veronique was attentive and responsive. Breakfast at the Chateau was lovely and tasty. The Family suite was modern in a unique old setting. The pool was invigorating. The grounds are picturesque and quintessential French with flowers in stone containers in a tranquil setting.

I visited this property in August 2024 with my wife and 3 kids. We stayed in the annex and were very happy with our visit. This is an amazing property. One of a kind. The pool is so unique. The property and surroundings are built into a steep cliff and so well preserved. The annex is a really nice space. It is not super private. Like most of France, no A/C (there was a wall unit in the kids attic room but it didn't work great as far as I could tell, but they didn't mind) and no screens, so we had windows open. It was a little hot and uncomfortable for me. Not too many bugs. Just across the courtyard were other rooms, but everyone was very quiet (except our kids). The kitchen has lovely big windows but is exposed to the other guests, again, wasn't a big issue. The bedroom was beautiful. The breakfast was good as well. Overall very pleased. Hard to find much to nitpick about. Short drive to Amboise. Excellent communication especially pre-visit. Staff was helpful and pleasant.

Unique and beautiful property! One of my favorites on our tour of Northern and central France. The only downfall was the dampness. There was a smell of mildew in the room. If you’re sensitive to this, it is a problem. I believe this could be dealt with, with the addition of Eric, exchangers or dehumidifiers. Everything else was exceptional, including the beauty of the grounds, the service and the beautiful breakfast.

It was like taking a step back to the 14th century...With a great bathroom! The whole property is beautiful. The modern bathroom and shower is 21st century with radiant heat in the floors. All of the staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was awesome. Thanks to Veronic and Rayanon.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was lovely and our room was very cozy. The location was perfect for visiting Amboise and the Châteaus in the Loire Valley. Lastly, we loved having fresh and local breakfast each morning.

A great experience of a Chateau. The rooms were quiet and updated. The bathrooms have all the modern amenities. The Chateau is great to walk around and within driving distance to many attractions in Loire Valley. Breakfast was fresh with local produce. If you want a wonderful Chateau experience, then I highly recommend Chateau Nazelles-Negron!

The Chateau is lovely and an experience in and of itself. The grounds and views were gorgeous. The rooms are beautifully updated and comfortable. Finding the property was a little tricky the first time as our GPS took us on the wrong road. You are about a 10 min drive to Amboise. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a difficult time with checking in. At first we could not find anyone or even the front desk. The instructions say to go to the front desk but it was closed even though we were within the open hours. We didn’t get great instructions when checking in and had trouble with the locks. The property is stunning but a long way from any amenities. Not walkable to any restaurants. The host was kind enough to call a taxi for us to go into town for dinner because it can apparently be difficult to get a taxi there. The breakfast was the best we had in France! Fantastic fresh local foods and friendly service.

We loved our stay at Château de Nazelles! Everyone was so welcoming and kind (including sweet Poppy!) and the setting cannot be beat. Just tucked away enough to feel like a private oasis but an easy and quick drive into Amboise, which was a perfect home base for exploring the rest of the Loire. Hope to be back soon, especially when the stunning pool is open!

A real highlight for us and a perfect honeymoon stop on our French roadtrip. A standout location with the most stunning pool- pure luxury. The hosts couldn't do more to help us & were on hand whenever we needed them. The local town is definitely worth exploring! Just beautiful. We'd love to go back for longer. Highly recommend!

The Chateau was such a beautiful and peaceful area to stay. Our host Veronique was attentive and responsive. Breakfast at the Chateau was lovely and tasty. The Family suite was modern in a unique old setting. The pool was invigorating. The grounds are picturesque and quintessential French with flowers in stone containers in a tranquil setting.

I visited this property in August 2024 with my wife and 3 kids. We stayed in the annex and were very happy with our visit. This is an amazing property. One of a kind. The pool is so unique. The property and surroundings are built into a steep cliff and so well preserved. The annex is a really nice space. It is not super private. Like most of France, no A/C (there was a wall unit in the kids attic room but it didn't work great as far as I could tell, but they didn't mind) and no screens, so we had windows open. It was a little hot and uncomfortable for me. Not too many bugs. Just across the courtyard were other rooms, but everyone was very quiet (except our kids). The kitchen has lovely big windows but is exposed to the other guests, again, wasn't a big issue. The bedroom was beautiful. The breakfast was good as well. Overall very pleased. Hard to find much to nitpick about. Short drive to Amboise. Excellent communication especially pre-visit. Staff was helpful and pleasant.

Amazing setting, very picturesque property. Our room was situated within a small rock face, it was absolutely amazing. Very well equipped and the sauna and hot tub was a luxurious touch! Great base for exploring nearby Amboise, about a 5-10 minute drive. Perfect!

We had a difficult time with checking in. At first we could not find anyone or even the front desk. The instructions say to go to the front desk but it was closed even though we were within the open hours. We didn’t get great instructions when checking in and had trouble with the locks. The property is stunning but a long way from any amenities. Not walkable to any restaurants. The host was kind enough to call a taxi for us to go into town for dinner because it can apparently be difficult to get a taxi there. The breakfast was the best we had in France! Fantastic fresh local foods and friendly service.

We loved our stay at Château de Nazelles! Everyone was so welcoming and kind (including sweet Poppy!) and the setting cannot be beat. Just tucked away enough to feel like a private oasis but an easy and quick drive into Amboise, which was a perfect home base for exploring the rest of the Loire. Hope to be back soon, especially when the stunning pool is open!

An unbelievable stay. To call it “historic” is an understatement. The property is quintessentially, pristinely French- everything we hoped it would be. Comfortable too. Stay here if you have a car or bike as it’s not within walking distance to central Amboise. Wonderful breakfast.

The Chateau is lovely and an experience in and of itself. The grounds and views were gorgeous. The rooms are beautifully updated and comfortable. Finding the property was a little tricky the first time as our GPS took us on the wrong road. You are about a 10 min drive to Amboise. We really enjoyed our stay.

The château dates back to the 1500s, and staying here gave us the feeling of literally living in another era. From the beautifully maintained grounds to the incredible historic setting, every detail made the experience special. We also really appreciated how environmentally conscious the property is. The staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly, and responsive throughout our stay. We loved the honor system, which gave the property such a warm, relaxed, and personal feel. Another favorite was the upper-level area where we could sit, relax, and take in the beautiful views of the surrounding area. This was so much more than just a place to stay—it was an experience that felt like going back in time, while still enjoying wonderful modern amenities.
