general: Overlooking the Navia River, Naviega Guest House is just 500 metres from the centre of the village of Navia. A small beach surrounded by pine trees on the Asturian Coast is 2.5 km away. Casona Naviega’s rooms are individually styled with wooden floors and a classic English-style décor. All rooms include free wired internet, a flat-screen TV and a DVD player. The Casona Naviega has no elevator. Guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast in the cafeteria playing calm music in the background, or out on the terrace. Navia features several cafés and restaurants, where guests can enjoy some of Asturia’s famous cheese, seafood or fabada, a stew of meat and pulses. Naviega’s lounge features a computer with internet for guests’ use, and a selection of books about Asturias. The beaches of Playa de las Catedrales in Ribadeo are about 25 minutes’ drive away. The surrounding hills provide excellent hiking opportunities and beautiful views, and staff can provide more information about outdoor activities in the area, including canoeing, canyoning and horse riding. Small cottage in the same location as the hotel but secluded. It has two floors. On the upper floor the bedrooms and bathroom and on the lower floor the kitchen and living room.
