Beautiful location and easy parking. We received a warm welcome and our host was very accommodating and kind. Breakfast was delicious in a lovely dining room overlooking the garden. Our room was inviting and comfortable with a large bathroom. Overall a nice stay in a beautiful and interesting area.

A beautifully charming quiet property with equally charming owners. With a peaceful walled garden, off-street parking, complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, and a DVD/ Book library to lounge in with a furry friend. A short drive to York or York Park & Ride, and many Michelin pubs in the area. I very much liked this place, and I will return.

Lovely period B&B in a beautiful location. Fantastic suite, we staying in the Red Room, with a separate bathroom, vintage furnishings with an air of slightly faded grandeur. Enormous, clean and super comfy bed. The owners are working through a refurb and I hope they don’t do too much to this beautiful room but I agree the carpeted bathroom and 80’s shower and bathroom suite would benefit from a refurb to match the period settings, although all worked fine and were beautifully clean. Very friendly, hospitable hosts in Andy & Ryan, who made us feel very welcome and cooked a fantastic breakfast in the beautiful morning room overlooking the gardens. Only negatives is that we couldn’t get the WiFi code to work, nor the TV. We didn’t complain as we were only staying one night and didn’t need to use either - and I’m sure it would have been promptly attended to if we would have flagged it up. Overall a real gem and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a charming retreat in North Yorkshire.

The best nights sleep. Room and bed were excellent! Ryan greeted us and and was a lovely host. Good choice at breakfast and all cooked to perfection. Easy parking. Shame we couldn’t have stayed longer.

Made very welcome by owner. Enjoyed afternoon tea after a quite long drive. Slightly disappointed we could not dine at the hotel, but they recommended the local pub, 2 minute drive, which was very good.

We stayed at Newburgh House Bed & Breakfast for a weekend, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Andy and Ryan were excellent hosts and made us feel at home from the very first moment. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had all the information we needed for our stay. The breakfast was rich and delicious honestly one of the best we’ve had at a bed & breakfast. The area was very quiet and perfect for relaxation. It was an excellent choice and we would highly recommend it to everyone! We would definitely visit again.

What a lovely surprise this little town was. The location was lovely with a country cottage feel. The owners were lovely and clearly love their home. Some efforts to renovate the bedroom are needed to bring the standard up.

This is a quaint property in a rural area. Very welcoming and friendly, with some nice touches (the best ever brownies in our room). I know it’s an old property but some of the areas of it could do with updating ie stair and bathroom carpets. I also found the shower difficult to use.

Very good room although did take a while for hot water took eek it’s way through those old pipes. Hot when it finally arrived. Great breakfast and comfortable room and bed. Great service and welcome from the guys.

It was a cold night when we arrived and tge room was very cold so i had to keep ny ciat on for a while! To be fair the room was big so would take some heating but only one radiator was giving out heat. I did find a portable heater that helped but it would have been nice to have it ready warmed. Its an old property that needs tlc but breakfast and service were great

What a little Gem of a place! Firstly I would like to thank the host for being friendly and welcoming! The ambience of the whole B&B was amazing. Room with a view, Excellent food, service with a smile. perfect for our weekend get away! I would definitely recommend this place.

For anyone wishing to visit Yorkshire this place is outstanding. Fantastic room, brilliant breakfast, thoughtful and caring staff, quiet, nearby friendly pub and situated close to the lovely village of Coxwold. What is there to dislike? We certainly recommend the Newburgh House B&B to anyone wanting to spend time in a friendly part of Yorkshire

The room was spotless, comfortable, and had all the information we needed for our stay. The breakfast was rich and delicious honestly one of the best we’ve had at a bed & breakfast. The area was very quiet and perfect for relaxation. It was an excellent choice and we would highly recommend it to everyone! We would definitely visit again.

A beautifully charming quiet property with equally charming owners. With a peaceful walled garden, off-street parking, complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, and a DVD/ Book library to lounge in with a furry friend. A short drive to York or York Park & Ride, and many Michelin pubs in the area. I very much liked this place, and I will return.

A lovely house, very welcoming. Andy and Ryan were lovely and very friendly. The quality of the afternoon tea and breakfast was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

The best nights sleep. Room and bed were excellent! Ryan greeted us and and was a lovely host. Good choice at breakfast and all cooked to perfection. Easy parking. Shame we couldn’t have stayed longer.

The whole place smelled of damp and mould. The bedroom had a very strong smell of cow manure from the farm next door. We could not stay it was so bad. And they have refused to refund any of our £150. Save yourself the wasted journey, time and money and go somewhere else.

Great welcome from our hosts. Breakfast cooked to our preferences. Crisp and fresh bedding. Huge room with period furniture and features. Massive bathroom with choice of bath or shower. Location was handy for us as we wanted to explore. Would stay again.
