We stayed in one of the apartments. Everything was very old and tired with a lot of evidence of advanced wear. The walls, doors, light switches were dirty with grim. We dropped something that rolled under the bed...it had not been cleaned under there is a while! Going to breakfast our first day, all we saw was some juice and bread on 2 small tables. We were standing wandering if that was all, looking a little confused, when one of the other guests advised us to go to a pass through window in the wall at the back. They has the rest of the food (ham,cheese, boiled eggs, some fruit) back there and there were 2 ladies back there to serve you the food (I'm assuming so that you don't take too much since they didn't give large portions). There was no sign to indicate that you had to go to the window to ask for food and no staff member was present to let you know. The ladies had not been visible as they were standing back from the window until we approached. If the other guest has not directed us we probably would have left without breakfast as there was no one at the front desk either. The staff, when present, were okay but not really friendly or welcoming. We would not stay at this hotel again and unfortunately, we can not recommend it to others.

Rustic and up on the hill. So if you have mobility issue find other hotels on the ground. Otherwise find this hotel has basic facilities adequate sufficient breakfast. I dont each much anyway. No ventilation but I was told you can open the window slighly ajar to let fresh air come in and was told no one will rob you while you are sleeping. So far so good my 3 nites there are unscathed. The best part the staff hotel are wonderful friendly and helpful.

As condições do quarto eram boas, apenas o chuveiro que não regulava direito (ou ficava extremamente quente ou extremamente frio, o que frustrava um bom banho no frio que passamos na cidade). Por termos ficado no anexo do hotel, não havia serviço de limpeza no quarto e sentimos falta disso, pois acumulava muita poeira, apesar de ficar fechado o tempo todo. O café da manhã era ok, mas isso é comum dos hotéis da Argentina. A equipe é educada e atenciosa e a localização é boa.

Two blocks from the Main Street (quiet) with a simple yet good breakfast. Very large room that did have some minor repair needs. Overall a great place with a nice staff at a fair price. Clean and comfortable which are important to me.

Fiz a viagem sozinha e me senti segura durante toda a estadia. Os quartos ficam no térreo. Quarto espaçoso. Chuveiro maravilhosa e quente. Quarto e banheiro com aquecedor. Café da manhã com variedade de opções, ovo cozido, salada de frutas, queijo, presunto, meia lua, pão doce, pão de forma, bolo, e outros. No quarto não tem cortina blackout, então o quarto não fica um breu, mas fica escurinho. Precisa colocar uma placa na porta para ter o serviço de limpeza. Quarto sempre limpo. Não tem condicionador e o shampoo é de sachê, cheirinho é bom. Sabonete é de barra. hotel é em uma subida, a princípio achei que teria dificuldade de chegar cansada e ter que subir a rua, mas foi bem tranquilo, tem escada ou rampa na rua. A localização dele é otimaaa! Todos na recepção são simpáticos e solícitos. Fechei o passeio do parque nacional com eles. Gostei bastante.

The hotel was fantastic. Originally had three nights booked, and needed to last minute book an extra night and it was so easy to do so. The hotel was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The shower was nice and hot. The staff were very friendly. The hotel itself is in the perfect location in the city with everything in walking distance. I don’t know when I’ll make it back to Ushuaia, but if I do I’ll choose this hotel.

Hotel Austral was awesome. The personnel was super nice and helpful with suggestions where to go and eat. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. A major plus that all the personnel at the front desk spoke vey good English.

We had an entire apartment including a kitchenette with a great view on the city. The heated floors were a dream come true. The breakfast was delicious and the personel was so attentive. Loved this place and would return in a heartbeat!

Hotel incrível, muito confortável e amplo. Banheiro muito bom. Só senti falta de um frigobar no quarto, visto que comprei algumas bebida para consumir, e com o aquecedor ligado, as bebidas esquentavam rapidamente. Fora isso tudo excelente.

Excellent hotel, would thoroughly recommend. Very helpful & friendly reception. Easy check-in & out. Large room, very comfortable and clean. Lovely continental breakfast, good variety of bread, pastries and excellent cake.

Two blocks from the Main Street (quiet) with a simple yet good breakfast. Very large room that did have some minor repair needs. Overall a great place with a nice staff at a fair price. Clean and comfortable which are important to me.

I was very impressed with the customer service at the hotel - they provided a very detailed overview of the different activities available in the area, together with very fair pricing and lots of other relevant information. They also helped me make all the activity bookings, taxi bookings and got me dairy-free milk when I requested it for my intolerances.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Our stay in Ushuaia was made that much better by them. The location is great. Close to everything you’d want to see. Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

The hotel was fantastic. Originally had three nights booked, and needed to last minute book an extra night and it was so easy to do so. The hotel was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The shower was nice and hot. The staff were very friendly. The hotel itself is in the perfect location in the city with everything in walking distance. I don’t know when I’ll make it back to Ushuaia, but if I do I’ll choose this hotel.

We had an entire apartment including a kitchenette with a great view on the city. The heated floors were a dream come true. The breakfast was delicious and the personel was so attentive. Loved this place and would return in a heartbeat!

The breakfast and coffee were terrible. The room flooring was uneven in the some part it wobbled when walking. Also the shower water was not draining fast so it became a pool.

A great hotel. The only bad thing is the breakfast which has no hot food, no vegetables, no fresh fruit, and only hard boiled eggs, cold ham and cheese and many pastries and bread. You have to request the cold eggs and cheese, which is sometimes hidden and is served by staff members. Other than the breakfast which should be improved, this is a great place, very centrally located. Great staff
