Funky old hotel, clean, newly renovated rooms with a great restaurant. Front desk was only 8am to 8pm but price was perfect. We would stay here again.

Very close to the village, 5 minute drive. Plenty of bike paths just in front and behind the hotel. Hotel had storage for bikes at night. 1 minute walk to the beach. Hotel had free parking. Ocafe had good breakfast and located next to the hotel and they have a bike store beside it if you need work on your bike. We’ll definitely be back at this hotel.

Limited amenities. No microwave, telephone, clock or clock radio, broken coffeemaker, no elevator and several sets of stairs to get to room. Hotel Bistro restaurant closed and it was Tuesday, no where on site to get breakfast foods, no staff on duty from 630 pm- 8 am the next morning to tell about coffeemaker. If there had at least been a microwave that could have helped out if one picked up food or could make tea! No bathtub, which surprised me as guests are often bikers or skiers and would appreciate soaking in a hot.bath. Went to write a note on hotel stationary pad, but no pen provided! On the plus side Bernard at front desk was very welcoming and explained hotel well. Parking was good on site and hotel located next to bike trail and close to downtown attractions. Room was very clean.

Lovely rustic hotel and right off the bike trails! I loved the convenient easy parking plus the overnight storage of our bike indoors at the hotel. Great bonus! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There is a restaurant and bar serving great drinks. Definitely will return.

Nice quirky hotel with character, lovely views and basic amenities. Good parking and space for bikes inside. Right on the Petit Train du Nord. Good restaurant at the hotel with great wait staff. Two super coffee shops only a few step away. Close to a lovely city park with a picnic area and beach. Caution for people with mobility issues - no elevator and several level changes.

It was a very pleasant experience! The room was big and cosy, everything was very clean, the building seems full of history and charm which is a nice add-on. Plus, it was very very calm which is so nice. We spent a very nice night, the lady at the reception was really welcoming. And we had the most eautiful view on Lac Mercier, it was so beautiful!

So not sure how to describe this, but the AC was running all the time, yet the room felt like a steam room. It was so damp and musty. Very clean, but I’m sure something was wrong with the AC. Very quaint hotel, nothing fancy at all. Lacks all the modern amenities you’d come to escape in a modern hotel.

Service was amazing. I checked in late and everything was setup for me - i called ealier to mention i'd be late. The only negative thing id say is the air conditioner that was really loud and making noises every once in a while which would disturb my sleep a little bit. Other than that, very nice place, i would recommend.

Bonne grandeur de chambre et de salle de bain.. Lit confortable et douillet. Les rideaux ne fermaient pas complètement ce qui fait que la lumière du soleil pénètre dans la chambre rapidement Le plancher de la salle de bain un peu glissant lorsqu’il ou à la mousse du savon.

Bel hôtel bien situé, mais aucun ascenseurs et plus de 35 marches à monter pour aller aux chambres du 2e étage !! En arrivant à la réception, au lieu de nous souhaiter la bienvenue ou un bon séjour, la fille s'est empressé de nous informer de tout les règlements de l'endroit..et des amendes ou frais se rattachant au non respect de ces dits règlements ! Assez ordinaire comme accueil!

Personne n’ai venu changer les serviettes samedi dans journée ou refaire le lit. Une personne du personnel est entrée sans cogner vers 15h30 en pensant que personne y étais pour vérifier si la chambre étais propre pour les prochains clients, elle m’a dit qu’elle sais tromper et étais désolée. Faudrais quand même frappée avant ouvrir une porte et attendre que quelqu’un vienne ouvrir. Pas de téléphone pour communiquer avec la réception.

This hotel is conveniently located beside the bike trail, we have stayed at this hotel several times in the past. It used to have a breakfast and dining option, but that was sadly missing this time. The storage for your bike overnight was pretty cramped and there was no way to get your bike out earlier than 8 AM in the morning as no staff was on during the night and the break room was locked. The room was clean. The bed was comfy. The air conditioner worked well and was not noisy. This hotel definitely has charm of a past era.
