Room was clean and modern. Love that you park right in front of the door to your room. Very nice backyard area with grills, multiple fire pits and plenty of seating. Quiet property and staff is helpful and friendly. Will stay again.

Loved it was a nice independent inn. Doing a beautiful outdoor relaxation area. Loved assigned parking so no worries for anyone to park in your way. A little loud hearing your neighbors though. Most restaurants in Bucksport are closed Monday and Tuesday’s which is inconvenient. Found a great pizza place (lots more than just pizza) though.

A great place for any family with kids. Very clean. The back yard was exceptional with corn hole game, horseshoe pit, campfire sites, gas grills, walking path, etc. Just a great place!!

Older style motel but very well maintained and retro in a good way. Rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. There was a nice area out back where the kids could play and the fire pits are a nice place to unwind in the evening. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We originally planned to stay one night but stayed a second and would have stayed a third night if they had a room available. I wouldn’t think twice about staying there again if we take another trip to the area.

The Bucksport Inn has been a mainstay on Main Street for many years and has been completely updated within the recent past. Driving up to the front entry you are greeted with planters filled with welcoming beautiful flowers. We arrived about a half hour before check in but our room was ready and we were able to check in early by two ladies at the front desk who were just as friendly and helpful as they could be. The rooms have been updated with Bath Fitter bathtubs, LED ceiling lights, and the cutest mini fridge/freezer combos. We stayed two nights and received service on the room after our first night, something we have started not seeing when staying at larger hotel chains. Although we didn't take advantage, the large back grass area had several picnic tables and grills, cornhole games, chairs and was lit at night with overhead strings of bulbs. The parking space directly in front of each room is huge, no worries about either hitting the car or being hit by the car in the next space.

We stayed one night - January 26. I came up from Boston with my adult child who had to take a training at the Maine Maritime Academy in Castine. Being January, everything in Castine was closed - no hotels, nothing. this was the next closest place. I was very pleased. THe room was pristine. Looks like brand new carpet and flooring. The room and bathroom were immaculate. THe beds were very comfortable and the towels were of high quality.

Check in staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well presented. Microwave and fridge useful for our tea! Plenty of parking. Only downside was someone in the room above us who started walking backwards and forwards, front to back, left to right at 3am. Appreciate this is an older property and hard to muffle that sort of noise. A thoughtless guest. Overall a good stay.

The place was very cute and my girlfriend got a really good feeling about the place. We had just driven in from a side trip to Canada and the hotel called to make sure we were ok and to discuss the late check in procedure. The room was clean and had a classic hotel feel. The bed was comfortable and all the bathroom things worked great. The only draw back to the place was in the middle of the night I fumbled my way to the bathroom and when I flipped on the light, it was so bright, I most fell in the tub. Otherwise, our stay was perfect. Plus the breakfast spots and pizza spots nearby were awesome. I will be back.

Room was clean, bright, modern and comfortable. Staff was nice! The only complaints were the bathroom vanity mirror was strangely highly placed. I’m 5’4 and I couldn’t see myself while washing my face + the pillows were rather uncomfortable. Aside from that the hotel was great and exactly as described.

The Bucksport in is really just a motel. The rooms have been redone with new vinyl flooring and fixtures in the bathroom. It is very basic. Check-in was simple and straight forward as was check-out. You can park right in front of the room. There is a Dunkin Donuts you can walk to right in front of the property. We felt it was very overpriced for what it was. On this trip, we stayed in a luxury hotel room with breakfast for less money. Our air conditioning unit was very noisy and smelled like it hadn't been cleaned in years. There was mold on the grout in the shower.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at bucksports for 1 night to see a concert in Bangor. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean and specious. Nice restaurants near by. We had a great meal at Glen's Restaurant. The property was nice and quiet. Will be coming again. Thanks, Erika & Tyson.

Booked this hotel out of necessity because we wanted to do the bioluminescence tour in Castine (also highly recommend) and the Bucksport Inn just happened to be conveniently located. So glad we did! First, the service was exceptional. They called us the morning of our reservation to inform us that the TV in our room was broken, but to offer a different type of room (2 queens vs a king). We declined because we didnt care about the TV. Not only was I impressed with their kind communication, but upon check out they informed us they took 10% off our bill for the inconvenience. As to the inn itself, I love it. It's the kind of classic motor lodge you'd seen in old movies, except beautifully maintained and updated. I love that the rooms feel new and clean, but maintain their old charm. From the physical key to your room, to the mercifully untouched bathrooms which have what appears to be the original tile and fixtures, but are all sparkling clean. Highly recommend!

If you are in the area, I highly recommend you stay here. - The rooms are very recently renovated and very nicely - The location is great with restaurants and the town very close - The grounds are safe with east parking and include fire pits with chairs behind. - And the best reason to stay here is the very friendly ladies at the front who assisted me with directions, restaurant reservations and provided suggestions on the area. - So far on my long trip it is the best place I have stayed.

Absolute wonderful staff, nice room and a great location. I highly recommend staying there. It's only about 45 minutes to Acadia National Park. The inn is close to the grocery store and a great restaurant.

A nice property conveniently located to explore the area. Friendly staff and clean rooms. We walked to the Verano Wine and Bistro for live music and tasty small plates. Close to Fort Knox and the observatory. A pleasant place to stay.

The hotel was extremely clean and exceeded my expectations. Hotel was conveniently located near grocery store, McDonald, Dunkins and restaurant. It was within easy driving distance of Acadia. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Loved it was a nice independent inn. Doing a beautiful outdoor relaxation area. Loved assigned parking so no worries for anyone to park in your way. A little loud hearing your neighbors though. Most restaurants in Bucksport are closed Monday and Tuesday’s which is inconvenient. Found a great pizza place (lots more than just pizza) though.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at bucksports for 1 night to see a concert in Bangor. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean and specious. Nice restaurants near by. We had a great meal at Glen's Restaurant. The property was nice and quiet. Will be coming again. Thanks, Erika & Tyson.

Easy check-in. Plenty of parking. Room was very clean and had the cutest refrigerator. Beautiful flowers out front of the office and near rooms. Dunkin Donuts within walking distance. Would stay there again.

I went to ME to visit my Mom and stayed at the Bucksport Inn. The room was clean & homey feeling. Staff was fantastic; very friendly & gave good recommendations as to where to eat. The next time I go to Bucksport I will be staying there.

We had a great stay at the Bucksport Inn. Check-in was easy and pleasant. Our room was spacious and immaculate. It was obvious that the property is well maintained. We loved the retro colors in the bathroom and the comfy bed. If you get a chance visit the Friars Brewhouse just down the street. It was a great meal in a funky environment.

This inn had all the basic amenities we needed for our stay and wasn't too far from Bar Harbor. Staff was very friendly. The room was clean and parking was assigned and labeled per room, which was a plus. The price was high, but not far off from similar stays in the area. For those prices, a free contintental breakfast would have been a nice addition. There is a Dunkin Donuts within walking distance if you need a quick breakfast before you go.

Excellent stay here. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms especially the updated bathrooms with great tile. The staff was very helpful with suggestions about local dining and other venues.

A great little old fashioned but modern motel. Park right in front of your room and walk in the door. Spacious clean room that has been updated. The mini old fashioned frig was great. The night of our arrival the staff reached out to make sure we would arrive by the checkin time but also offered late checkin options.
