This place is marvelous. It has everything especially an amazing view. Pool, playground, boat launch. Quiet, clean. Just wonderful. Only 1 problem. We left with 1 room key in our pocket and will have to mail that back. Best experience in a very long time. Thank you.

⸻ We had a wonderful stay at this motel with our children. The backyard was lovely, with decks, a fireplace, a small basketball area, and a playground that the kids really enjoyed. It was a very relaxing space with a beautiful view of the river right from our room. The room itself was spotless, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Overall, it’s a perfect spot for a family weekend getaway or a friends’ gathering. Highly recommended ! Viktoria

Views of the river and trent lock were fantastic. Sat by the river enjoying the view before we went to dinnet. -Noisy, disturbed by neighbors to the hotel (dog barking, people outside at a campfire) and guests of the hotel returning late in the evening. Not good for accessibility as the stair railings were quite wobbly even though they looked new.

Proprietor was friendly and helpful .When a plumbing problem emerged..We were moved to the room next door. Proprietor gave me a toothbrush when i asked..i had left mine at home. The beds were comfortable. We liked that our room overlooked the Trent Rivrr..In fact, all rooms overlooked the Trent River. At night there was quiet in.the motel..Quiet hours were visibly posted..This made for restful sleeping. There was an unheated outdoor pool which we took abvantage of. Perhaps the gate should be locked when not in use to.prevent unsupervisedchildren or non- swimmers from entering and falling into the pool..

The owners are very nice rooms are extremely clean....i enjoy the family suite thats what i book all the time....little pricey for being out of toronto comparables ..right on the water wich is peaceful unfortunately the pool is not little kid friendly as theres no stairs to get in and out or myself with that has difficulty walking...but ill take cleanliness and great staff anytime

Bedroom was fine. Coffee bar lacked sufficient creamer. Small bathroom had chipped tub, not a single towel bar & no counter space for toiletries. Pool seemed okay, but picnic/BBQ areas near the river were dilapidated with broken concrete and metal protrusions. Old, unused wooden docks were sitting on the river bank, with vines growing over them. Further renovation is clearly needed.

Very nice and friendly owners. The accommodations are very clean. Bed very comfortable. Outdoor views beautiful. Wished I had more time to enjoy a coffee by the river and shop the area. One improvement would be coffee machine, but otherwise i would stay here again, no problem.

We have stayed here a few times now and we very much enjoyed our stays. The rooms are a little smaller than average but the beds are comfy, everything is very clean. We have such a good sleep at this place, it is very quiet. Night to have a mini fridge and microwave in the room. They are a nice BBQ to use, the owner even came and changed the propane when we ran out cooking dinner. The pool is a nice option, or you could swim or fish in the river. They also have a fire pit for an evening fire by the river. We will definitely be retuning

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the beds were comfortable. This was the only real upside to staying here — for the cost, I was shocked by the state of the room. Old key locks and my door handle had duct tape wrapped around it. Rickety stairs to get to our room (very inaccessible) and there was a shopping cart (1) parked outside our room filled with cleaning supplies. Obviously, there had been renovations and some updates, but the cost-cutting was obvious. Room had two stacks of old dining chairs too (didn't match) — just not what I expected for almost $300 a night. Didn't feel very clean either. There were dead bugs on the bathroom floor, microwave was very old, and one of the shelves in the minifridge was broken. And no coffee maker (although when I asked, she did get me one).

Not sure what other people expect for near two hundred a night but this place sure fell short of ours. After the wedding, that ended early, we didn’t want to return to the room. The sitting are outside the room had a chair and astray full of cigarette buts. The bathroom sink looked like it would come off the wall and the bathtub had mold bits. The beds were comfortable but the floors creaked badly.

The memory foam bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on. The owners go out of their way to make your feel comfortable and offered places of interest that we visited. It was an easy walk to all of the shops and restaurants in Campbellford, and the property was well cared for and picturesque on the river. We felt really at home.

The room is heated by baseboard heaters and in the summer its window a/c. The room was clean overall although there was not much soundproofing and I could hear everything from the room above me. The last day was good as there was no one above me but I would not return unless it was my last resort.

When we entered late in the evening the owner met us quickly at the office. He was very friendly. There was a fair going on across the street. The walls are thin and we could hear people in other rooms but we turned on the air conditioner and fell asleep with no problem. Waking up to the river view and sitting on the patio was nice. It is a motel but truly the cleanest and comfiest motel we’ve stayed in. It was just my daughter and I and we felt safe.

It wasnt the room i booked. I booked a king size bed and it was to be the onw with the big tub in the actual room not in the bathroom. When i clicked reservation it only showed pics of that room and we got a king bed thats it. Not impressed.

Booked a room with a King Bed, got a room with two doubles. Prices are unreasonable based on the quality of the rooms. GTA prices of an upscale hotel for a motel that looks like it rents by the hour. Supposedly renovated recently, but the Reno’s were done on the cheap, by someone who didn’t know what they were doing. We slept with our cloths on… Unfortunately, we were stuck to to choose this as options are limited. First and only stay here.

Really enjoyed our stay, thank you so much Depak and his wife who are so sweet and always asking if we needed anything and giving recommendations that are arpund in the area to experience. The suites are newly renovated and clean. Lovely quiet place and right on the trent river. Looking forward to coming back.

Management has zero compassion or understanding. Booked in haste (at 8:20pm) as I was trying to get to a close relative who had very little time to live. She died before we even got half way to Campbellford. Despite my grief I phone the hotel to let them know we would not be checking and asked if they could see their way to providing a refund. Was told only hotels.com could authorize that. When hotels.com contacted the Motel they refused to provide a refund. Guaranteed I will never stay at Motel 6 in Campbellford, ever. Disappointing to not be afforded any compassion or good will in a terrible time.

Unfortunately our upstairs neighbours were very loud but that was not the fault of the motel. The location on the Trent Severn was surprisingly quaint and lovely. A nice place to sit and read a book in the evening
