Delta Hotels by Marriott Milwaukee Northwest

The pool , hot tub were not working. Reserved the king room was given 2 queen due to a water pipe break but wasn’t informed upon check in. Disappointed with no microwave in room . The tv’s volume was extremely different than the commercial’s volume with no way to control it due to the sound bar.

Nice clean hotel. Good pool and hot tub. Bar with food options.

Our stay was ok. Nothing too exciting, but nothing awful. The pool was out of commission during our stay and had been for some time. Luckily we were busy with other things.

Upon arrival (After booking our room over a week ago), I was told they didnt have our room available anymore, and that they only had a room available but the A/C was broke. I figured it would be okay, for it was a cooler night and we would just open the windows. Well after getting to our room and it being about 85 degrees in there, we noticed the windows cant be opened in the room. Lucky for us we carry a portable fan in the vehicle. Well that only works if the outlets worked. So, no fan either... So, we decided we would make a couple drinks and head down to the pool. That didnt go as planned either for the ice machine was out of service also. So, we said forget the drinks for it was already 10pm (we just arrived after a Brewer Game) and went to the pool anyways. Once we got into the pool area there was only 1 pool towel available, but the towel hamper was over flowing like nobody checked it all day. So, we just decided to head to bed for the night and try to deal with the heat in the room. I dont normally ever write any bad reviews on a place, but when you spend over 200 dollars on a place, and were only there from 10pm to 8am and have that many issues at once. Its a tough pill to swallow.... The only positives I can say, is that the rest of the hotel did look pretty nice from a quick glance, and the front desk worker was very nice and apologetic of the room situation.

This is a really clean and well appointed hotel. I was here on business so didn’t explore the area. It’s right off the highway so very convenient but not the nicest setting for hotel views. Very quiet though with big gym and pool. Would definitely recommend if in the area!

I understand there was a premium cost due to the Harley Davidson anniversary but the hotel did not have a working business center or a pool area. The elevators were unbelievable slow. I heard guests complaining everywhere I went about the service and condition of the hotel. It was not just me. Very disappointing.

The pool was closed, and when I asked about it, they implied that I should have known already. But I was never notified. The woman who checked us in was very nice, but the other staff seemed annoyed with us.

I chose the hotel bc of location and price. The lobby was well appointed and welcoming. The staff was very welcoming. The common areas were very hot and stuffy. My room smelled like an ashtray. The body wash in the shower was empty and the Kleenex box was empty. Front desk agent was very kind and offered to change our room but I had already went and bought air freshener and cleaning products. The lights in the pool area were very weird industrial like spotlights. Very strange and not comfortable and the hot tub was broken.

A excellent hotel. The whole staff was so friendly. Very nice room with a comfortable bed. The pool and hot tub were great. Very convenient right next to a major highway.

We stayed at the hotel in a room with a king bed. The hotel looks renovated in recent years. However, we had some observations. Toilet seat was not clean and brownish stain was visible. Hence, we asked to change our room. The second room was the same. We had to clean the toilet with wipes we had ourselves. Dark stains were spotted on the bed sheets. Also, we observed a small centipede , an insect, on pillows.

Room was very clean. Quiet, even with a wedsing going on. Very friendly desk staff.

Our booking and check-in was outstanding. The front desk check-in was extremely friendly and fast. It was very late at night when we checked in and we were very tired after a long day. Upon arriving in our room there were 5-6 of these bugs in the bathroom and our room. The shower floor had not been properly cleaned as well as there was soap and shampoo on the floor from a previous person’s stay. The bed was comfortable and room was nice. We were too tired to call the front desk to change rooms. It was disappointing as a Marriott property to have these odd looking bugs all over the room.

Hotel looks nice - but our room had dried blood on the curtains and window sill. The bathroom had mold in the shower - overall need a good cleaning

this hotel charges $50 a day for incidentals which tacked on $250 to my account… they do not advise you of this at all! Plus for those people that use a debit card they don’t get that back for seven days after their stay, which is horrific!! when you look up incidentals there are literally none! aside from laundry service?! there is no breakfast and they leave you one decaf, coffee, and one regular coffee in your room… they show up at 8:30 in the morning to clean your room and if you aren’t available, they do not come back. Employees smelled like cannabis and the hallways smell like cannabis! Which shows they allowed people to do this in their rooms. If you want a snack, that is the biggest joke as they have a small tiny area with two shelves that have probably a total of six snacks! I’ve never seen anything like this for a hotel that claims to be upscale… they really only want business travelers because they are out of their rooms early and they’re gone all day and probably don’t use the rooms other than to sleep, so for anybody wanting to enjoy amenities at a hotel this is not the place. When I asked to check out early, they told me that I had to go through the third-party where I booked the travel, but the third-party told me I have to go through them which only made it more confusing but thankfully I was able to check out early as I was so unhappy. I also very rarely take the time to write a review, but this was such a disappointment and the $50 Daily amenity!!!!

Smells and dirty bathroom

The bathroom was not very clean. The shower walls were not cleaned and there was no soup in the dispenser. The desk was not clean

Shower had cracked grout, moldy sealant and the soap dispenser fell off the wall and on to my toe on night one. The fridge took 48hours to chill a single water bottle. Lobby felt cleans, but elevator corridor smelled like cigarettes. Staff gave me the wrong information about breakfast, causing me to miss the breakfast that I paid for. Currently fighting with the management team just to get the money back for the unused service. Good at the Waterline was good, bartender/ waiter was friendly. Night audit that checked me in acted like he’d rather be anywhere else. Some of the most lackluster hospitality service I’ve ever received. I checked out and left early.

Very comfortable king bed

Very convenient just off Hwy. Arrived well before 3 pm and was able to check in, which was a plus. Front desk very friendly. Room was large, clean and quite considering right off hwy. we would definitely stay again.

We came up to move our son back to Indiana. The hotel was awesome but the WiFi was terrible.

When I arrived, the computers were down for at least 45 minutes. I had a similar experience at this hotel a few years back. You really need to fix that. I also was put in the very last room on my floor. Since I had recently had hip surgery, I was not too happy about that. The room was comfortable as well as the bed. I hate that there is no dresser with drawers for clothes.

Room is nicely decorated, bathroom is clean and stocked with the usual necessities. The restaurant was closed due to mechanical issues, and our room air conditioner was a little noisy (like loose paper flapping in the wind), but still a very pleasant experience.

The scent of the hotel is terrible. They use the most awful air fresheners. The beds are comfy, but the rest of the room is dirty and dated including the shower. The AC is loud !

Don't book this through Expedia! The hotel is good, one of the nicest in the area. Its location right next to the highway is safe and convenient but charmless. But the communication between Expedia and the hotel was so bad. Expedia charged us for an optional breakfast but the hotel had no record of it (when contacted, Expedia claimed the hotel included free breakfast which was obviously false based both on the hotel's and Expedia's website). Then we got double charged for the room, the kicker being that the hotel charged us $30 LESS than Expedia. The room was stylish and you could tell it had been updated; the bathroom was similarly updated but a little less polished. Bed was very comfortable and bottled water provided. It's in an area of middling hotels and a solid choice--we'd stay here again.

Will not return. Said free breakfast but that was only for one person, WiFi kept cutting out, nearest microwave was in the main lobby, shower was awful with no water pressure and ac unit was so so loud.

Extremely polite and helpful person at the registration desk. The restaurant staff on site did not show up so the girl in the coffee shop was on her own on a Sunday morning. It would’ve been nice to have breakfast included, like most hotels.

Never had a room for us. Computers were down waited an hour. Never came up. Woman was rude. Was 10pm and left. Had to get another hotel.

Place was nice!!! Staff was awesome, will definitely be our go to everytime were in area!!!

It’s nice place and it’s closer by highway. I had a party here and not far from here which is nice. I like everything nice place to stay!

The property and front desk staff were wonderful. We were completely blown away though in the morning when we went to get the offered continental breakfast. We were told their cook didn’t show up so all they had was food you could buy from them. This is unacceptable and there should have been either offer of compensation or comped us some of the microwave sandwiches that had to offer. Instead we had to go spend money on breakfast elsewhere without anything but an apology. Very unprofessional. If your cook doesn’t show up you should either get another staff member working in his place or offer a credit on the room.

We had a great stay at Delta Hotels Milwaukee Northwest. The hotel is very nice with a pool and hot tub and the restaurant was actually quite good and would highly recommend it. There were some minor details in condition in the room carpet, walls and shower that made me give it a 4/5 for condition but these were quite minor and more cosmetic. I would highly recommend this hotel it was great for families (kids menu in the restaurant, close enough to Milwaukee to enjoy things like the zoo and science museum).
