Staying on the property at Leeds Castle verses a nearby B&B or hotel was a very enjoyable experience. Once we arrived, we decided to pay extra for a deluxe room on the ground floor. When booking a room, you may want to consider this. Other rooms are on a second floor and because these are historical buildings, there are no elevators. There are only 17 rooms available for over nights stays. After closing time for the castle grounds, you are permitted to walk through the gardens/property at your leisure. It was very quiet, and a unique experience. Entrance to the castle is included in the price of your stay so you do not have to buy a ticket before hand. There is an on-site restaurant if you wish to have an evening meal there, and breakfast is ordered from a menu which is included with your room. Parking was ample and free. There is security on site and after hours.

Lovely hotel in sumptuous historical grounds! Stay Inc castle entry & parking and breakfast, so all in all a good deal. Room was lovely with quality toiletries. Breakfast was fine with a decent selection of items. We had dinner at the hotel, opted for fish and chips. Good sized portions. As it's not a restaurant per se there were only 6 choices, 2 of which were vegetarian or vegan. Which left only 4 choices. Hotel guests have the opportunity to spend time in the extensive and beautiful gardens, we enjoyed taking advantage of that!

10/10 for staff, room, food, gardens and grounds and of course Leeds Castle itself. Lovely to have free entry to Castle and able to access grounds after closing. Perfect, highly recommend and will come again.

We had a three nights’ stay, which was perfect and memorable for all the right reasons. We stayed at Lloyd overlooking the gardens, which was incredibly comfortable and spotlessly clean. The quality of the food was exceptional - be it breakfast, dining in the restaurant or just snacks in the cafes - fresh, presented well and delectable. Having access to the beautifully maintained castle grounds around the clock was a real bonus. What more could I say? Our stay left us spellbound and we will definitely return. We enjoy staying at unique properties and Leeds Castle did not disappoint! Staying here gets you after hours access to the beautiful grounds and the castle during operating hours. The staff was friendly and attentive. Our room was clean and had a great view of the garden. A lovely full English breakfast was included at the restaurant on the property. Would definitely stay again!

Great spot to stay. Lovely to have the castle grounds to wander around after hours. We really enjoyed our stay in a deluxe double room overlooking the gardens. So much to see and do in the castle and castle grounds and lovely walks with a great view of the castle. We ate in the Castle View Restaurant in the evening and enjoyed our meal. Breakfast was also good. Reception staff so welcoming and explained everything brilliantly.

We had three rooms in the stable block at the castle and it was an absolutely wonderful stay. The reception team were fabulously helpful and our rooms were all well furnished, quiet and tastefully decorated. Wifi was good too and there was a desk for working on. The restaurant onsite was very good, obviously a beautiful building with great views across to the castle. We had dinner and breakfast there and both were very good quality food and well presented, combined with excellent service. I would have preferred to have some vegetable side dish options for dinner as the portion sizes were not large. The main draw was obviously the castle and the fact that you can walk around the grounds after the day visitors have left so we did a lot of walking in the evening and a couple of circuits just after sunrise too. Considering the location and included attractions, prices are definitely good value.

It is fabulous being in the grounds of Leeds Castle as it is such a beautiful setting. The staff were very welcoming and professional. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The only improvement I could suggest was an additional arm chair in our room so we could both sit in comfort. However that is a very minor point as overall the whole experience was perfect.

Loved the grounds and the property. It was very nice to see the rabbits freely hopping about. The place is well looked after however there were a couple of spiderwebs/cobwebs that I spotted near the window curtains. This place has breathtaking views and the staff are hospitable and friendly. The room where we stayed was fantastic and spacious. Had a nice, comfortable sleep here and a nice breakfast in the morning at the restaurant not too far from where we were staying. The check-out time however could be later (preferably 11:30 am) but, overall the stay was lovely, we had fun and we would return to stay longer than the 1 night. I highly recommend Leeds Castle and the Maze. It was value for money.

My husband and I only stayed overnight but wished it had been longer. We were amazed how beautiful the gardens are and we made sure we walked round them and visited the castle before we left. We stayed in the Stable Courtyard and the room was excellent with all the facilities expected of a 5* hotel. Exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was great too. Thanks to all the staff who were helpful and professional.

We stayed in Kent room. It was clean and tidy. It was very warm, as no airflow. It was a good job it wasn’t too hot. The bed was a double. Not overly comfortable and the pillows were quite hard. The surrounding area was lovely. We could have done without the bright lights outside th3 window. I wish we had known that we had access to the whole of Leeds castle for the day of arrival and departure. We won’t go back, but I would recommend it to others. The castle View restaurant was lovely. A good place for pre-dinner drinks and dinner was lovely. Thank you

We stayed at the The Stable Courtyard Leeds Castle for 1 night for our wedding anniversary. It was great to have the early check in of 1pm so we could gain access to the Castle and grounds which were stunning. The accommodation was nice, we were in the Hutton room which over looked the beautiful gardens. The room was well stocked with snacks, drinks and luxurious toiletries. I think the room does need a bit of tlc. Their were stains on the carpet, the bathroom is a bit dated and the furniture. I appreciate the furnishings tie in with the whole decor but the quality is poor. We had breakfast and dinner which was really delicious and service was wonderful.

Lovely stay at the Leeds hotel, Leeds hotel gave specific directions to enter the castle grounds from a different entrance, which made checking in easier. Lovely room large bed large shower. Did not sleep well as I found the bedroom too hot for my liking. But had a great stay and would definitely come again. Had a evening meal in the restaurant which was great, would recommend the pork.

I dont recommend this hotel for many reasons and unhappy experience, I never dislike a hotel like this one , I lived many hotels around the world 1. I don't really like the staff there completely, they are arrogant, create bad experince to my trip , both the reception staff and especially the supervisor siting inside the room, 2. No AC in hot summer for all the rooms as the staff mentioned, i re-requested a fan more, NEVER come, how deluxe it is, when you are sweating inside my small room 3. I choose and pay a “more” expensive and deluxe room when i make my booking, however the room is indeed so tiny 4. The staff is not helpful even i keep asking, I asked about the activities and she give me a map and tell me where i am and my room is. I missed some good activiy 5. Request me to pay for an extra bed, which I dont want to! I choose to believe a more expensive and bigger one room can have three people, i book this online with three “heads” on the website to make sure the room space sufficient, why the room is so small, I choose a more deluxe version with three heads on website, , want to spend my happy vacation with my love and one small kids, they asked why I didnt notice them about my “two” kids, and ask me to pay extra immediately in fact I have one kid only, I dont really like to pay extra, I wish they could refund me if they read it. However, they ask me to pay immediately, and demand my credit card for their hotel. :( so bad!

Place is clean, but needs serious updating. The website says your room has a view of the castle... it actually is a view of the parking lot. If the castle is meant for relaxation, why do delivery trucks wake you up at 6:30am? Who do they put guests right on top of each other when the place is nearly vacant? Why don't the toilet seats stay up because the handle is in the way? Why is the shower so small and with no shelf to hold soap or shampoo? And if this is a place of learning and intellect, why is there a typo in the film shown on the tour? (ITS is the possessive of IT, not IT'S)

I would have preferred to have some vegetable side dish options for dinner as the portion sizes were not large. The main draw was obviously the castle and the fact that you can walk around the grounds after the day visitors have left so we did a lot of walking in the evening and a couple of circuits just after sunrise too. Considering the location and included attractions, prices are definitely good value.

I dont recommend this hotel for many reasons and unhappy experience, I never dislike a hotel like this one , I lived many hotels around the world 1. I don't really like the staff there completely, they are arrogant, create bad experince to my trip , both the reception staff and especially the supervisor siting inside the room, 2. No AC in hot summer for all the rooms as the staff mentioned, i re-requested a fan more, NEVER come, how deluxe it is, when you are sweating inside my small room 3. I choose and pay a “more” expensive and deluxe room when i make my booking, however the room is indeed so tiny 4. The staff is not helpful even i keep asking, I asked about the activities and she give me a map and tell me where i am and my room is. I missed some good activiy 5. Request me to pay for an extra bed, which I dont want to! I choose to believe a more expensive and bigger one room can have three people, i book this online with three “heads” on the website to make sure the room space sufficient, why the room is so small, I choose a more deluxe version with three heads on website, , want to spend my happy vacation with my love and one small kids, they asked why I didnt notice them about my “two” kids, and ask me to pay extra immediately in fact I have one kid only, I dont really like to pay extra, I wish they could refund me if they read it. However, they ask me to pay immediately, and demand my credit card for their hotel. :( so bad!

The service at this hotel was top notch! We stayed in the stable grounds for 3 nights and we absolutely loved it. The guest services were very polite and helpful. The restaurant food was delicious and the servers were very thoughtful, especially when we needed to bring back food to our room. There is a lot of activities on the grounds for kids to do. The playground is designed like a castle and 4 levels high. There is a boat ride, an obstacle course, train ride, a golf course, a birds of prey exhibit, and much more. We loved our stay here and would definitely be back.

We had a three nights’ stay, which was perfect and memorable for all the right reasons. We stayed at Lloyd overlooking the gardens, which was incredibly comfortable and spotlessly clean. The quality of the food was exceptional - be it breakfast, dining in the restaurant or just snacks in the cafes - fresh, presented well and delectable. Having access to the beautifully maintained castle grounds around the clock was a real bonus. What more could I say? Our stay left us spellbound and we will definitely return. We enjoy staying at unique properties and Leeds Castle did not disappoint! Staying here gets you after hours access to the beautiful grounds and the castle during operating hours. The staff was friendly and attentive. Our room was clean and had a great view of the garden. A lovely full English breakfast was included at the restaurant on the property. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay at the Stables Courtyard rooms was excellent. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the wonderful staff in all areas of the property. The reception staff were very polite and friendly, and gave us all the information we needed for our stay and our wristbands for free entry to the Castle and grounds. Julie in the restuarant was really lovely - great personality and a high level of customer service. The dinner and breakfast were delicious - lots of choice in the buffet with also a menu of freshly cooked hot food. The ground and castle staff were also very helpful and courteous. I can't fault anything about our stay.

My husband and I only stayed overnight but wished it had been longer. We were amazed how beautiful the gardens are and we made sure we walked round them and visited the castle before we left. We stayed in the Stable Courtyard and the room was excellent with all the facilities expected of a 5* hotel. Exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was great too. Thanks to all the staff who were helpful and professional.

We liked everything about our stay. Last year we stayed in the maidens tower which was unbelievable, this year we stayed in the stables courtyard which was equally enjoyable. The staff are amazing,so friendly and Can't do enough for you, we will be back.

It was a lovely stay in an outbuilding that’s been done up to have conference rooms and bedrooms. Room itself could have been almost in any decent hotel anywhere. The views of the garden were really pretty. The castle gardens were available for a walk around and the castle itself is lovely from the outside.

We stayed at the The Stable Courtyard Leeds Castle for 1 night for our wedding anniversary. It was great to have the early check in of 1pm so we could gain access to the Castle and grounds which were stunning. The accommodation was nice, we were in the Hutton room which over looked the beautiful gardens. The room was well stocked with snacks, drinks and luxurious toiletries. I think the room does need a bit of tlc. Their were stains on the carpet, the bathroom is a bit dated and the furniture. I appreciate the furnishings tie in with the whole decor but the quality is poor. We had breakfast and dinner which was really delicious and service was wonderful.

The breakfast was minimal and came cold ... not enough staff to attend customers as we had to ask at least 3 times for coffee and toast was served once we finished breakfast.... the room was pleasant and bed real comfortable.. unfortunately there is a path way just outside the window that did not make the experience a private one as public were passing by during opening times. Once we told the manager about the terrible breakfast ... she just apologised ... yet we paid for the terrible breakfast.... Not sure we would stay there again.

Lovely hotel in sumptuous historical grounds! Stay Inc castle entry & parking and breakfast, so all in all a good deal. Room was lovely with quality toiletries. Breakfast was fine with a decent selection of items. We had dinner at the hotel, opted for fish and chips. Good sized portions. As it's not a restaurant per se there were only 6 choices, 2 of which were vegetarian or vegan. Which left only 4 choices. Hotel guests have the opportunity to spend time in the extensive and beautiful gardens, we enjoyed taking advantage of that!

Our stay was wonderful - except for the evening meal in your restaurant. We are vegetarian/vegan - which was known when booked. and very disappointed to be offered a risotto! We reluctantly accepted this. We were offered a starter which could be made vegan by taking off the relevant ingredients! The quality of the food was fine - breakfasts super - but please there are wonderful vegetarian/vegan recipes around these days to equal the meat/fish alternatives which were offered. Otherwise no issues.

The accommodation is set in a lovely location & every member of staff was polite cheerful & helpful. Breakfast on our first morning was superb but sadly didn’t live up to the standard they’d set on the second morning which was disappointing but obviously a change of chef. Sadly our stay was impacted by noisey inconsiderate & uncouth neighbours but that’s outside the control of the hotel.

Amazing place to stay, all the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was gorgeous, warm and very comfortable. Leeds Castle itself is a great place to visit, the weather was dreadful but it didn’t diminish the beauty of the surroundings. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the breakfast, which was perfectly adequate but the scrambled eggs were sloppy, there was no toast and had no vegetarian alternatives on the buffet, however this was only a small niggle in an otherwise lovely stay.

Pleasantly surprised by our stay. We only booked as a stopover on the way down south and we are so glad we did. Beautiful grounds and castle to explore. Breakfast and dinner were superb with excellent ingredients used throughout. Will definitely return when they are hosting a musical event.

Eine wunderschöne Location direkt beim Schloß mit sehr gutem Frühstück. Zimmer sehr schön. Reception super freundlich! Eintrittspreis für das Schloss und Garten inklusive! Mehr als zu empfehlen. Kommen bestimmt wieder.
Eine wunderschöne Location direkt beim Schloß mit sehr gutem Frühstück. Zimmer sehr schön. Reception super freundlich! Eintrittspreis für das Schloss und Garten inklusive! Mehr als zu empfehlen. Kommen bestimmt wieder.

We had a great stay and really enjoyed having access to the castle grounds so close to our room. We asked for a fan in our room and it was delivered immediately . The restaurant for breakfast was only a minutes walk away and had a stunning view of the castle . The food was of a very high quality and good choice of individually cooked items , plus an extensive buffet. Thoroughly recommend for a special occasion .

So lovely to stay in such an idyllic location. The castle and grounds are stunning. The falconry display was amazing and the Maze was an exciting challenge! Room was incredibly clean with a very large, comfortable bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. They can cater for vegans, which was terrific. Evening meal was very nice but quite expensive. The tv had trouble tuning into all the channels and it would be nice to have hooks on the doors. But no big deal.
