Poor service all round. Lifts were a joke - got stuck in them for 10 mins and didn't even get an apology from the staff. restaurant closed on arrival even though we had an 8pm reservation. no alternative or help offered.

It was ok, however the beds are very hard and the room is very dark without a way to brighten if we should like to. But otherwise it is safe, lots of parking and good value for the money.

Big room, good breakfast, good shower. Bedroom has little hanging space, dark even with lights on, hard corners on bed; easy to knock calves. Bed very hard to sleep on. Shower room on two levels - not great idea. Expensive to have non-moulting dog stay with us (£25). Breakfast staff brilliant. Car parking very good. Mixed feelings about it really; can’t say it represented much better value than stopping at a much cheaper Ibis hotel.

Worn carpet and wobbly taps, no coffee machine - room is a reasonable size. Unwelcoming lobby area. Demand for a physical credit card swipe. I don’t carrry them. Keep your card wallet, you can’t charge for stuff without it. Food is very good indeed, despite the menu card , that looks uninspiring. Shower is brilliant as are the Tesla chargers

This was a last minute thing after another hotel let me down. The app said there was one more room available, which I booked, but on arriving at the property the receptionist informed me that they were full and I should not have been able to book. I was told to wait and they would find me a room. It turned out to be an accessible room so low bed and shower stool in the shower. The room was ok but only 2 power points at the desk, nothing near the bed. The shower was good but the extraction fan in the bathroom was on all the time and the first night it kept me awake most of the night. The hotel itself is ok, loads of ev charge points outside and large parking. Inside, the carpets are threadbare, the sofas are old and worn in the reception and bar area. One of the reasons I booked this hotel was the gym, it had a gym. However, it was only a small room, 1 running machine that needs replacing, 1 rowing machine that slipped constantly so it could not be used. It had some weights and an all in weight machine but because of the way it was crammed into the room only half of it could be used. It was basic to say the least. Some of the staff were lovely but a couple of the staff I felt were rude and not interested in you as a guest. Prices of food and drink were on par with the area. Overall, not particularly happy with my stay but it was a last minute thing, I don’t think I will be staying here again, I will do more searching.

The room was a bit tired and needs an update.Worn carpets & cracked tiles etc. Only one double socket in whole room by the desk/table. Nothing by the bed. We found the mattress a bit hard. Room clean. Only one lift working. No dining at the hotel. Hotel in office/ small business park. Several Tesla chargers on-site which were well used. Close to M1 J27.

Good hotel and for business Perfect if you have a EV .. Tesla Super Chargers outside ! Interesting hotel … pleasant staff .. Please note if you are under 5ft 3 you will not reach the reception desk 😂… bring a ladder 👍

Gym equipment from mid-20th century (dangerously out of repair). No water available in gym or at front desk. No wipes in gym for equipment. Floors dirty, carpets in hallways and room worn. No closet in room for hanging clothing. Dinner was not served at hotel, and there was nowhere in within 20 minutes available for dinner. Room was HOT due to excessive heat in bathroom, required air conditioning in middle of the night to be able to sleep. Overflowing garbage bins and ash trays in front of hotel.

Bedrooms clean however layout not the best and bathroom wasn't as clean as would expect. Went in the gym and treadmill wasn't working looked like floor hadn't been cleaned in a very long time

Very convenient, easy parking, Tesla Supercharger, slightly tired carpets etc

Avoid, it's 3 stars at best. Food is disappointing and breakfast is just as bad as other reviewers say. Linens were full of holes and the light in the bathroom was flickering so fast it gave us nausea. Worst mattress ever. We should have gone anywhere else.

The room was filthy, carpets was thread bare, bed was dirty mattress was dirty which was covered with a topper with was also stained and dirty. Dog poo on the grass outside, rubbish in the carpark. Generally filthy room and cracked bathroom tiles. Under the sink had tissue trying to stop a leak and the room door handle came off in my hand.

During previous stays I have had no problems with this hotel. However, during this two night stay my room was not cleaned / serviced after the first night.

I have never stayed here before, the duvet needed to be replaced, you could see the stains through the cover and that it was old, the kettle was covered in dust, the TV remote filthy and the shower I had to clean before I used it. Dinner was very expensive and tbh the meal wasn’t great at all. Only plus it’s a very quiet hotel.

Getting old and tatty staff poorly trained Wait 10 mins at bar Evan after you tell reception poor quality breakfast over priced cold plates in the broken plate warmer broken coffee machine Luke warm black coffee from jug but only half a cup left by the time they refilled breakfast over for me The food self service had to wait 5 mins for bacon under cooked and Luke warm like the rest as the food warmer not working Breakfast that bad that today I didn’t have breakfast in the room thread bare carpets in my room boggy sealing in bathroom mould in shower I used to pick this hotel but sadly this is the last time for me

The hotel is in desperate need of a face lift and full rework, very dark lighting, little to no signal in the rooms forcing you to use their wifi which is even worse. Bathrooms dull and dirty, shows heads full of limescale and black mould. I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times over the last 10+ years but this was the last time. For the price they charge it’s daylight robbery

Hotel is tired and does not appear to have seen a good clean for months. Shelves, tables, ornaments covered in dust and cobwebs on ceiling. Room had very worn carpet, bulbs not working and a window that would not close, I reported this but no solution was given for my two night stay. Food and service in bar and restaurant was good however.

Most things were good except the network in the building. Network on phones go off as soon as you enter the building. You have to go outside the building before you can make a call. The WiFi provided was not good enough. It only worked well for me on the ground floor. The breakfast is too expensive. £50.00 ? Really absurd.

On arrival we were met by very unsure reception person. He had a question about breakfast and all his answers were “I’m not sure”. Mattress in the room felt as if its made of bricks. Every time other guests closed the doors in their rooms our rooms door would rattle and it kept waking us up. Overall hotel could do with some tlc. We ended up not going for breakfast and of visiting Nottingham this won’t be our choice of hotel.

Had booked for a two night stay in hotel. On arrival thay said i only been booked in for one night. But offerd to charge my reservation. Room was clean but we found the bed ie mattress so hard & uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on a hard floor. In fact i didn't sleep, i ended up sleeping in the chair. In the morning their was no record of us booking for breakfast. But after thay had heard of my discomfort with bed arrangement.. Thay very kindly let us have some breakfast. No charge. The flooring from the bar towards the breakfast area was very loose & cracked under foot. Not very good for a 4 star hotel. Although thay had been accommodating to a degree. I felt my stort stay very stressful and on edge about my booking.

Comfortable bed in a decent sized room. Very much a business hotel so busy bar and restaurant. Good food too. Only slight negative is the room is quite a dark decor

I recommended this hotel to colleagues for this business trip as I had stayed there a few years ago just after it was renamed “Mour” and felt like it was a good option in comparison to the others in the area. While the vibe of the hotel remains upscale the interiors no longer match and are in need of refresh. The soft furnishings and sofas in the lobby are tired and unfortunately a cream colour so need a clean and the carpets throughout my floor were threadbare. Thankfully my colleague’s flooring wasn’t as bad as mine and I wonder if I was on the “tradey” floor. There are no power outlets by the beds which is a convenience I think most are accustomed to. The bathroom, while mostly clean, had soap stains behind the shower gel dispenser that could have been easily wiped away and only a rainfall shower head. Another disappointing aspect was the hotel’s decision to broadcast GB News as the sole channel in both the lobby and the bar/restaurant. In a hospitality setting, where the aim should be to make all guests feel welcome and comfortable, one would reasonably expect a more neutral or balanced news channel. The management’s choice here suggests that inclusivity, impartiality and ensuring that all guests feel welcome and safe in their eatablishment are not regarded as priorities. As there are slim pickings in the way of stylish, business hotels in this area I really hope the management has a renovation schedule already in the works because it’s got so much potential.

Nice hotel, lovely on first impression and spotlessly clean but our room (a standard double) felt dated and lacked basic things you would expect from even a budget hotel - such as plug sockets by your bed and adequate in room lighting (everything felt very dark!). There were only two plug sockets (a single double socket) for the entire room, which was on the opposite side of the room to the bed, yet there were two phones in the room for room service/reception? Beds were comfy and linen was good. Bar was great, well stocked and open 24 hours! Breakfast was good quality, a lot of choice on the menu for hot options but grossly overpriced at £15.95, even if you only want a continental/piece of toast! Need to have different price levels for continental breakfasts and hot breakfasts. We were in a group of 6 with other family staying at the hotel, sat on the same table, and yet our breakfasts only came out two at a time with approx 10 mins between each pair, which didn’t make sense. Service was okay but not very attentive. We stayed on a quiet weekend in January so for the price we paid for two nights it was fine, but it would not be worth paying any more. The lifts were making some odd noises. Overall, a nice clean hotel and handy being right off the motorway but needs a revamp.

We were put in the wrong room, booked exec got std, hotel looked tired and in need of improvement. Service was mixed and bed as hard as a board. We will not return

Awful check in rude staff said my booking canceled when wasnt so took ages get booked in and had no rooms left from what i booked so upgarded to executive after lots huffing and puffing. Asked if anywhere local walk to pub as been driving all day. Got told a pub but was 1 star and pulled face otherwise drive. Food and drink very expensive Room was nice shower good. Dressing gowns worn and looked like needed throwing. After getting in went to bed the mattress was awful it sunk in middle feet were higher than body. It totally collapsed. We had enough 1am we were moved to last room that bed was same, the bathroom floor tiles were also broke and raised and sharp they could cut ur feet We had max 1-2 hours sleep. Complained at checkout and ask for manager no one was there so asked to contact rang twice and they still not returned call. We work on rd and had little sleep. I was told investigating staff i said i complained out sleep and they can ring me and investigate staff after. How can u investigate without speaking to us. The money for the room is not worth it. The hoel looks lovely but carpets on floors thread bare and lift is dodgy. Looks amazing in bar and reception and 24 hour bar. Customer service and lack of sleep awful

Very comfortable, clean ! Breakfast was lovely , staff were great!

The staff were disinterested. I was questioned as to why I didn’t want to dine there which was awkward. Stood waiting at the bar for some time as there was only one member of staff who was also there to show people around. Called up for some extra tea and coffee and the reception staff seemed particularly annoyed about this.

I keep coming back to Mour hotel as it’s good value, comfortable, and welcoming. Rooms are clean and modern and comfortable. Had dinner for the first time and really enjoyed the food which was well presented and tasted great

My stay was going really well, nice room most of the staff were friendly and helpful, but when checking out I requested a VAT invoice so I can claim the cost back from my employer but was told that’s not possible. Over the years I have stayed in many hotels for work and have never experienced being told I it’s not possible to have a VAT invoice. This hotel has conference rooms so must host companies and corporate guests staying overnight who need to claim expenses.I wasn’t the only guest to be told this by the very unhelpful receptionist. For this reason I will not be staying in this hotel ever again which is a shame as up until that moment it was all going extremely well. Also I would mention that there is a very limited menu so much so that I went out for food.

Excellent staff, quiet, comfortable and an excellent breakfast.

Staff didnt know what they were doing and didn't care, modern but run down, sooner it is sold the better.

Great location straight off the motorway , easy parking . Hotel is getting very tired inside and room cleanliness wasn’t the best . Seemed short staffed slow service and no one on reception when we arrived.

Here on business, got a taxi into Hucknall plenty of pubs and restaurants so all good. Not much other choice tbf.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times over the years. On arrival it looks the same but the internal condition has deteriorated. It is obvious the high price paid does not go towards upgrading or maintaining the property. Breakfast charged at £15:95 is over priced for the poor cheap produced used. The self service looked like it was flung together with no inviting presentation. Coffee in the rooms is also cheap and tastes horrible. If you want to use cheap produce, you should advertise as a budget hotel and not one of the higher end boutique establishments.

This place is grim. Dirty - poor quality - uncomfortable. Lighting downstairs like being in a floor lit stadium. Breakfast was tragic - not even a decent cup of coffee. Cheap toast and concentrate orange juice only.

Quiet location. Breakfast average. Coffee poor.

I was told the kitchen was closed at 2105 when it states its open till 2130. Only options was a cold dry sandwich. Not really acceptable when arriving later to check in
