We booked this hotel because we were unsure how far we could drive after finishing up our time in Jasper. It was just a place to sleep before driving 7 hours to Vancouver.

You know I really appreciate them being there but you could tell from the moment you walked in that the lobby was messy and run down. The cushions on chairs in the lobby were destroyed. We could tell it would be interesting. The overall condition of the place was kind of dirty and run down. But on the bright side, the room was surprisingly mostly clean and very acceptable. I loved having the balcony with the mountain view even though the chairs were filthy and the floor of the desk was in disrepair. I really thought for $250/night we'd get a better experience. It seems the owners don't really prioritize having the place in good shape.
