Novotel Bangkok Platinum Pratunam

Sehr schönes Hotel, das sehr praktisch liegt. Zimmer sind modern und sauber. Wir waren fast zu oberst und hatten darum eine sehr schöne Aussicht. Der Pool ist ebenfalls etwas in der Höhe und auch von dort hat man eine schöne Aussicht. Frühstück war war gut mit einer guten Auswahl. Das Hotel wird vorallem von Indern und Arabern besucht.

This was a great location for exploring Bangkok. There are lots of food options in the area and many can be accessed via the covered skywalk. The pool is a wonderful escape from the Bangkok heat. The only down side to this hotel is that it is next to a really smelly canal. Our room didn't smell, but we could smell the canal from the pool at times.

Hotel is undergoing renovations now so didn’t really enjoyed the stay. Else will have given 5 stars. Gym is closed till Dec 25 and spa was closed for a day. My room unfortunately had blue paint dripping from the ceiling at the window. Luckily, the hotel staff Gus reacted quickly to save the situation which would otherwise marred my family’s experience. He arranged for a room change and apologised profusely. The hotel is still very good with superb customer service. Will return to stay and highly recommend still.

Good breakfast , good location and service . But swimming pool could be cleaner.

Super infinite Pool über den Dächern Bangkok.

The hotel was under construction . Despite requesting in two occasions to stop the construction noise at 5 pm max they continued from 9 am to 9 pm . no rest with time changes . the spa and pool smack in the middle of the construction zone weee not usable . the rooftop bar closed .

This is a great, conveniently located hotel in the Siam region of Bangkok. Two BTS stations are close by, making it easy to get around the city. Central World shopping centre is a few minutes walk away. This is a fantastic shopping centre with an array of shops and places to eat. The hotel itself is good and has a great rooftop bar. The hotel is a 4 star hotel, I would say the room I had wasn't the best 4 star hotel room I've ever had. But then for the price, I was particularly bothered and I was out every day exploring.

I was looking forward for a swim but unfortunately its under reno. And if you want they can arrange a swim in another hotel

The hotel has a great location and is easily accessible to explore the Pratunam area, Big C, and Central World. Overall, it's an excellent location with great service. One area for improvement: the hotel should give advance notice to guests about Songran private pool parties, rather than informing them only at the entrance when guests come down for a swim. That said, the event organizer was kind enough to allow my baby to use the children's pool, which we truly appreciated.

Gym, pool, sky bar all closed for entire stay because they were renovating. Noise in the room during the day when trying to take a nap was extremely loud with the banging, sawing, and drilling so was unable to sleep a wink. If we had known this ahead of time we would not have stayed at this hotel.

My stay was generally pleasant, but I had concerns about the cleanliness of the sheets and pillowcases. While they appeared clean, a lingering odor suggested the presence of bacteria. This issue may stem from either inadequate bleach (Haiter solution) use during washing or insufficient drying before storage.

Room can still find the used towel by previous user once we checked in. Can still find the food rubbish inside the room by previous user.

Fifth stay at this hotel. Consistent excellent service from the hotel staff. We had an issue with our room which they promptly fixed. Am impressed. The room was new and cleaned daily. Check in and out were quick. Hotel is conveniently located above the popular Platinum Mall which can accessed via the hotel lobby escalator. Will highly recommend to stay here.

Average, nothing special apart from the location Staff needs to be more professional… I stayed 6 nights One night by 6 pm I asked to get king bed linings changed “ I have a baby so suprises can happen “they brought them and placed them on bed and went away like wanting me to change them myself I changed them and put the dirty ones by room door they called me and rudly argued with me !!! At the end it is your mistake not mine Also amenities and towels the pult one or two although told them I need more

I have always enjoyed staying in Novotel hotel as this is not my first experience there However during the one week stay in the family room, my son suffered from some insect bites at night and the rash still persists even now back in singapore so we are rather disappointed this time.

Clean & convenient!

Location was excellent close to shopping centers. Walking distance to train station. Breakfast was excellent there was a variety of choices. Room was always kept clean. Staff were all nice.

My first time staying in Novotel and I had higher expectations as the hotel chain was used by my MNC company that I'm working at. Stayed for 3 nights. Solo traveller. Female. I arrived at 10am and done all the paperwork and was told to come back at 2pm for my room. That's fine. When I came back at 2.30pm, they took about another 20mins to find a room for me. I was given room 1820. It's a nightmare room. Small things like there's no spoon in the room, the kettle is old, the wardrobe lights are not working, carpet was dusty, those are fine, I can live with it. I didn't realize that the main door was damaged until I tried to close the door when I'm going out for dinner. I couldn't close the door at all, then a nice housekeeping staff who happened to passby helped me called their engineer. While he was fixing the door, I realised that there are traces of forced entry and the door lock glued and screw back again . The engineer came and rescrew back the lock and this time, the door managed to close. Then I start to check the room more carefully. The curtains actually have a huge huge patch of blood stains. Then the Aircon was super cold and even there is a control knob, it was not working. I couldn't sleep on my first night. Next early morning, I went down and ask for a room change. They agreed to change for me. I got my new room 2515 for the next 2 nights at 9pm on my day 2 as I was out for a day tour. Grateful that they allow the change as I slept so well for the next 2 nights.

Wonderful stay in Bangkok - location is perfect (6 mins walk drom CentralWorld mall, BigC, and just on top of a cheap bazar mall called Platinum. The rooms are big, clean, fresh looking. The gym is small but equiped. The staff were nice and helpful. Will definitely recommend!

Room is big to accommodate 3 single beds and a sofa. Covered walk way to big c and other nearby places n bts.

Location was good. Accessible to many places from here. However, the water pressure from the shower set was quite bad. Took longer than usual to shower.

Very nice hotel with great service The room is facing the park and the night view is perfect Just.. you could still hear the traffic noise even I was at the 22 floors

1) Staff who checked me in upgraded my room as she said that my most recent stay was my 2nd time staying in Novotel Platinum. This is incorrect. This was my 5th stay. I had stayed fr 1 to 5 Sep 2022, 27 Nov to 1 Dec 2022, 15 to 18 March 2023 and 8 to 12 June 2023. 2) When I checked into my room, housekeeping staff delivered a set of laundry to me. I explained that I had just checked in. 3) Wifi failed although the router was reset several times in my room. Staff also stated that they had set the pw in my husband's phone to connect to the wifi automatically but this did not happen. 4) Safe failed to open although my passcode was correct. What if I had to catch a flight? 5) Paul and his team, Concierge, were helpful and well-informed.

Stayed 4 nights in total. Location wise is good. The hotel is right beside the popular Platinum Mall, excellent for shopping. There are also good amount of street stalls around this area. 10-15 mins walk to Big C and Central World mall. Hotel condition is quite poor, as it is an aged hotel. Booked 3 rooms in total. One of the room had a leaking tap at the basin causing the vanity area to be wet all the time. Water also leaked to the floor. Water heater was inconsistent and cold some of the time, eapecially during the evening. The other room had air conditioning where the temp cannot be adjusted, making it extremely cold everytime it is on. Bed was soft and shaky. Room took quite long to clean. Breakfast buffet was enjoyable and has a good selection.

Near shopping malls. Room was fun - but very small and the bathroom wasn't very functional (sink clogged, water from shower went everywhere).

My second stay here. We returned for a reason because we enjoyed the hotel and the employees. We paid for the room on Expedia and when we checked in they told us that everything was paid only needed one thousand baht per night for deposit. To my surprise checking my credit card balance I was charged for the room again for 36,000 Baht I told them that they charged me twice they acknowledged that they overcharged me and they would refund my money. Today at checkout still not refunded they stated that it would be 2 weeks atleast to get refunded This is not acceptable and now charged for foreign transaction and interest on my account this should not happen to be charged again for the room I am very disappointed in this matter.

Horrible staff. We booked here Jan 28-29. Our room wasn’t ready at the time of check in and had to wait for an hour! To make things worst one of their staff gave us wine which we thought was compensation during dinner. Nope! Apparently they made a mistake and the wine was for loyal customers only who needed to show a badge of some sort. Then why didn’t you ask for this loyalty badge to begin with if that were the case? We ended up paying extra for this at the end of our stay. If you’re going to stay here be careful of the staff.

We have been here 4-5 times now. This time we stayed for 12 nights. The customer service is getting worse and worse. Housekeeping grumpy when you ask for anything. Staff constantly on their phones and cranky when u interupt them. The only reason why we stay there is the location.. its central to everything and walking distance to the malls lile Big C, Central World, platinum mall and all the little food streets and massages. Breakfast they have a big range of food but they are all leftovers from previous day and definitely not fresh. The cakes, muffins, crossants are all from the day before as u can taste the staleness. The only consistent fresh food is the noodle station and the eggs station. We wont be staying here on our next trip to Bangkok.

Very satisfied, friendly and helpful staffs can be seen from check in counter, housekeeping, restaurant/cafe for morning breakfast, till our last day at concierge. Walkable distance to major shopping areas

The Staff at Novotel Bangkok Platinum were excellent ! This includes the staff at the Front Desk, Concierge, Restaurants. They were very friendly and efficient and made my stay a positive experience !

out of 4 nights, 2 of the days the hotel told us no towel from morning till night then able to receive towels.... have to call and find many times to get towel as they said run of of towels.. Joke. Luggage took 1 hour to reach room and only after 2 phone calls.

I am very disappointed with their checking in service. My checked in was delayed and when we were given the hotel room cards, we went up and found that the housekeeper was still cleaning up the room. We have to stand outside the room and waited. I won't stay at Novotel Bangkok Platinum again.

Great location! To the right of the hotel are the modern upscale malls and to the left are the markets and wholesale clothing and accessories. Food markets, 7 11, money changers and massage pkaces all available within hotel area.

Very convenient and easily accessible to everything especially if you want to do shopping in Platinum mall. Walking distance to Central World and Siam Paragon. Most group tours also picks up in Siam Paragon. There are massage spas too around and street food. There is a Starbucks downstair, Mcdonalds and money changers. The Park view rooms are very nice and cozy. All staffs are very friendly and prompt. I will definitely stay here again.

The reception was very good, the rooms very, very beautiful, as I stayed in a suite that had been recently renovated. Breakfast was very, very good, and all compliments to the hotel management. This location is superb if you are walking to the malls. If you are heading now, it is one of the busiest districts where jams can be very time consuming.

There was nothing I would recommend the Novotel to anyone in fact I would recommend use any other hotel, and until I have $280 sent to me for paying for breakfast for eight nights for two people when it was clearly written on my booking Breakfast Included. The breakfast that I paid for twice was very cold every morning. I will keep on not recommending this very poor hotel.

Bad room service. Called to order room service for lunch quickly as kids were hungry with the situation explained to hotel staff as well. Was told that preparation time is around 15 to 20 minutes. Called them after waiting for 30 minutes as no lunch was being delivered. They mentioned that there is a high volume and we will need to wait for another 30 minutes. Was told to make my way to the hotel restaurant instead at level 6 to be served faster. Horrible service from the hotel dining team. When I already had specifically mentioned that my kids were hungry. If the waiting time is long please let customers know upfront instead during the first call so that we can better decide on our options.
