The view from the hotel was magnificent, especially with the morning sun glancing off the sea. Very close to lots of restaurants and beaches. 2 things to consider: there is private parking but it costs 15 euros a day. The view from the front of the hotel is a bit ruined by the defunct outdoor swimming pool (i heard it was due to a new law)

Gute Lage direkt am Meer mit schöner Aussicht. Sehr freundliches Personal und schönes Frühstück. Parkplätze mit etwas Glück ganz in der Nähe, ansonsten etwas weiter zu laufen.

Hotel was lovely, unfortunately there was mere town improvement works being carried out so the main paseo was closed along with several access roads, which was challenging. Otherwise lovely hotel, reception staff and location.

Everything was absolutely perfect; I have nothing to complain about. The welcome on arrival and departure was superb. The restaurant and service were excellent. Just be aware that you'll need to park quite far away, as there's no parking near the hotel. Apart from the hotel's own parking lot, which is a bit elevated, there are options. I highly recommend this hotel.

I had a hard time finding my way to the hotel because the road to the hotel parking lot was under construction and I couldn't get in. It would have been nice if they had emailed the guests in advance with directions.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet établissement. Nous avions choisi une chambre avec vue sur la mer et avons été ravis de pouvoir dormir avec la fenêtre entre-ouverte, bercés par le bruit des vagues. De plus, la rue en contrebas était incroyablement calme, ce qui a ajouté au charme de notre expérience. Le petit déjeuner était tout à fait satisfaisant, offrant un bon choix d'options. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons été très satisfaits de notre séjour, même s'il a été court. Cependant, il y a quelques points négatifs à noter. Tout d'abord, le parking clôturé à l'extérieur est payant (15 €), bien que les places soient suffisamment larges pour éviter d'endommager son véhicule. De plus, la propreté de la chambre était correcte, mais sans plus. Le lit n'était pas parfaitement fait et il y avait des traces au sol. Cependant, ces petits désagréments ont été largement compensés par la vue imprenable sur la mer et la gentillesse du personnel à la réception.

What a lovely hotel and stay! We had a fourth floor balcony with an ocean view and we couldn’t be more pleased. We were greeted with such care and offered a great suggestion for dinner after a long day of traveling. The location couldn’t have been better. I would love to visit L’Escala again and would not consider staying anywhere else!

Juste une remarque, des travaux juste en dessous de la terrasse nous ont pourris la vie la journée, dommage, j'aurais apprécié le savoir avant de recevoir un mail une fois que ma réservation non annulable et remboursable soit effectué ! Le petit déjeuner, 8h rien de prêt, 15 euros par personne, ce n' est que quand nous sommes partis que le chaud a été mis sur le buffet, ça aussi c est bien dommage. Sinon bel hôtel et très bien situé dans le centre-ville.

Lots of development work directly outside the hotel at the moment but it didn’t bother me. The hotel is perfect, central, excellent condition, lovely buffet breakfast and friendly helpful staff. I’d recommend for anyone in the area.

Our family’s stay at Hotel Voramar was fantastic. The property is immaculate, the staff friendly and helpful, and the location is central to many delicious restaurants, a amusement park, beautiful beaches, and a lovely walk to the fine sand beaches and ancient ruins of Empúries. My only regret is that we could not extend our stay at Hotel Voramar and charming L’Escala. Highly recommend Hotel Voramar!
