Sauberes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal und sehr gute Anbindung (kurzer Fußweg zum Bahnhof Zoo und Kudamm). Perfekt für einen Besuch in Berlin. Die kleinen (aber schönen) zweckmäßige Zimmer und das sehr gute Frühstückbuffet (und Dachterrasse) runden den angenehmen günstigen Aufenthalt ab.

Our stay at the Aletto was a great fit! Traveling with 4 kids the 6 twin beds were perfect and the split bathroom allowed to maximize use. This hotel would be nothing if it wasn’t for Max. He provided stellar customer service above and beyond anything we expected. This is not a luxury place to stay, but it’s the perfect location to get a morning run/walk in the Tiergarten, grab a train to anywhere, or just walk the nearby blocks with restaurants and shops. The best thing was that there is a grocery store 100 meters from the front door of the hotel. It was great to grab water, snacks, and even breakfast each morning and an ice cream each night. Super inexpensive! Honestly the only down fall was that there was not fridge on the room, which I know is not standard for Europe. I brought a little cooler bag with and started by buying ice each day. On our third day, Max saw me carrying ice and stated that there is an ice machine on property and all I needed to do was ask for ice when I needed it. Unfortunately, when Max was not there, the other staff did not want to give us more than a cup of ice, and made it seem like we were nothing them when we asked anything. Max was super helpful about EVERYTHING! Kiddos LOVED the football enclosure the property had to offer! I had to pry them out of there several times and tell them I watch them play soccer back home and while I’m in Berlin, I want to see Berlin!! Hahaha!

The staff here were super friendly and helpful. The room was really nice and the location was perfect. I enjoyed the ease of parking in the hotel’s private lot. The cost is very reasonable for a prime city parking spot. Checking in and out was simple and quick. This location allowed for a 5 minute walk to the zoo - literally across the street, walking to tons of shopping and dining, and easy driving around town as well as in and out of Berlin. (We flew in to start a Europe roadtrip here). It took maybe 25 minutes to drive to the wall memorial, Brandenburg gate, Reichstag, etc. For those that don’t want to drive, there is a metro station 3 minutes away. We were a family of five including our 3 kids and the room was big enough for us to have a comfortable stay. There was multiple elevators/lifts and the stairs we very easy as well. Having a Starbucks service in the lobby was an extra bonus. From the time I made my reservation until the time I checked out, this hotel and team was great.

This hotel worked because it had individual beds for our two kids, was adjacent to the main train near the zoo, and downstairs bar and coffee shop. Good place for young people, students, and budget conscious travelers. Area directly around the hotel is sketch, but minutes away is an upscale residential neighborhood, shopping, and commerce.

Alles in allem ok, aber sehr auf Schulklassen und große Gruppen spezialiertes Hotel. Ich hatte 6 Betten in meinem Zimmer und hatte aber für eine Person gebucht. WC und Dusche sind getrennt und es gibt keine Minibar bzw. Kühlschrank für Getränke. Ein Safe ist aber vorhanden. Dadurch, dass 6 Betten im Zimmer sind, fühlt es sich einfach am wie eine Herberge als ein Hotel. Im ersten Zimmer das ich bekam, war der WC total verdreckt. Und mit verdreckt meine ich wirklich Dünnpfiff und das Housekeeping hat es einfach nicht gereinigt. Das zweite Zimmer was dann ok, abgesehen von ein paar Haare im Bett und auf dem Boden. Frühstück hatte ich nicht. Das Personal an der Rezeption und an der Bar war sehr freundlich und nett. Muss nicht sein, da es in der Preislage bessere Zimmer gibt.

Such brilliant value for money. Room had bunk beds and 2 single beds. It was immaculately clean and the shower was amazing. Room around the single beds was limited and the Wifi wasn't great but can't fault the location.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr Zentral, Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Mein Sohn hat was bei der Abreise vergessen, das wurde ihm nach Hause geschickt 100 Punkte Im Bereich Ordnung und Sauberkeit der Zimmer kann ich leider nur mit ausreichend bewerten. Die Betten wurden nicht wirklich gemacht auch wurde nicht gesehen das das Duschshampoo leer war obwohl man es offensichtlich hingelegt hat. Hier ist noch Potenzial nach oben

Leider waren wir mit unserem Aufenthalt im Aletto Hotel Berlin sehr unzufrieden. Schon beim Betreten des Zimmers fiel auf, dass es nicht sauber war – Staub in den Ecken und Flecken auf den Oberflächen machten keinen guten Eindruck. Zudem funktionierten weder der Safe noch das WLAN, was gerade in einem Hotel dieser Kategorie ärgerlich ist. Auch das Bad war problematisch: Die Wasserhähne waren so schwergängig, dass es fast unmöglich war, die Temperatur richtig einzustellen. Man konnte entweder nur eiskaltes oder extrem heißes Wasser wählen – definitiv kein angenehmes Erlebnis. Ein weiterer negativer Punkt war das Bett. Aufgrund der räumlichen Gegebenheiten musste man vom Fußende aus ins Bett klettern, was äußerst unpraktisch war. Alles in allem entsprach das Zimmer in keiner Weise unseren Erwartungen, und wir können das Hotel leider nicht weiterempfehlen. Da gibt es in Berlin definitiv bessere Alternativen.

A nice hotel, located close to U-bahn and other conveniences. The room was not very well cleaned, dusty floors, which reduced the rating some but the rest of the hotel and its staff was great! For the money we paid, very good!

Das ältere Gebäude ist von außen wenig einladend. Die Zimmer sind jedoch frisch renoviert und zweckmäßig aber ansprechend eingerichtet. Die Sauberkeit war vorbildlich. Die Verkehrsanbindung ist super, dafür hat die Gegend natürlich "Bahnhofsflair". Frühstück hatte ich nicht und kann es daher nicht bewerten.

First thing i noticed is that the didn't allow early check in which was very inconvenient for international travelers. We finally got into the room and i liked the simple design and layout, nothing too fussy, and loved the heated floors. One bad thing was on the second day i removed the sheets off my sons bed for the cleaner to replace it with clean ones and she never did. The wifi was terrible once you got into the rooms so i couldn't use my phone. The TV only had a few german channels and gave no option to put the caption on and the remote barely worked so we spent most of our time outside the room. Every night pass 11 pm there were these loud banging noises which made it hard to sleep. The hotel was always full of younger children which i didn't mind and actually liked that they allowed them a place to come and hang out in the afternoon. When i was booking i really didn't know the location but it was perfect, it was right in the middle of a busy area full of restaurants and people, it was directly on the train and bus line. The staff was welcoming and always kept the lobby area clean. I can see myself booking there again but please be more flexible with the check in times

When i was booking i really didn't know the location but it was perfect, it was right in the middle of a busy area full of restaurants and people, it was directly on the train and bus line. The staff was welcoming and always kept the lobby area clean. I can see myself booking there again but please be more flexible with the check in times

Clean and modern hotel within 2-3 minute walking distance from train station. The hotel in my opinion is a converted student dorm campus. Nevertheless, it was a comfortable stay. Pros: - big bathroom with great water pressure - Very comfortable beds and pillows - Walking distance from many bakeries, restaurants and bars - Buffet breakfast is delicious, we recommend eating at the restaurant instead of finding a place nearby. Cons: - garbage truck passes monday at 7am and it will wake you up - You can hear the train passing by at all times of the day and night. - The back of the hotel has a common area shared with the other appartment buildings and people are always outside drinking and talking. Also, we saw alot of big groups of children and teenagers stay at this hotel. Parties in rooms could be heard down the hall too. Overall, i wouldnt stay here again because of the various noises at night. But for those who dont mind it, this is the place for you.

Room was very small. I was ok to share with all my family but did not expect we were going to be packed like sardines. Pictures do not show that. Perhaps they should add the area of the room in their description so we know that is not spaced out. Also the double bed had not even a division or curtain for privacy. I understand big cities have limitation of space, but this was bad. Also, perhaps because of the season, too many young college kids getting drunk and making noises.

Sauberes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal und sehr gute Anbindung (kurzer Fußweg zum Bahnhof Zoo und Kudamm). Perfekt für einen Besuch in Berlin. Die kleinen (aber schönen) zweckmäßige Zimmer und das sehr gute Frühstückbuffet (und Dachterrasse) runden den angenehmen günstigen Aufenthalt ab.

Our stay at the Aletto was a great fit! Traveling with 4 kids the 6 twin beds were perfect and the split bathroom allowed to maximize use. This hotel would be nothing if it wasn’t for Max. He provided stellar customer service above and beyond anything we expected. This is not a luxury place to stay, but it’s the perfect location to get a morning run/walk in the Tiergarten, grab a train to anywhere, or just walk the nearby blocks with restaurants and shops. The best thing was that there is a grocery store 100 meters from the front door of the hotel. It was great to grab water, snacks, and even breakfast each morning and an ice cream each night. Super inexpensive! Honestly the only down fall was that there was not fridge on the room, which I know is not standard for Europe. I brought a little cooler bag with and started by buying ice each day. On our third day, Max saw me carrying ice and stated that there is an ice machine on property and all I needed to do was ask for ice when I needed it. Unfortunately, when Max was not there, the other staff did not want to give us more than a cup of ice, and made it seem like we were nothing them when we asked anything. Max was super helpful about EVERYTHING! Kiddos LOVED the football enclosure the property had to offer! I had to pry them out of there several times and tell them I watch them play soccer back home and while I’m in Berlin, I want to see Berlin!! Hahaha!

Hotel is in an excellent location a few minutes easy walk from Zoologischer Garten S and U bahn transport hub and for Kantstraße and Ku’damm with the Zoo, Europa Centre, Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, KaDeWe nearby. Three of us stayed in room 114 at front of hotel: large, extremely clean, tidy and pleasant with separate loo and shower rooms, single, full size beds which were very comfortable and the room surprisingly quiet given how busy the hotel was. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and there’s the option for breakfast however we were up, out and ate on the hoof (there are a wealth of bakeries, cafés etc. in the immediate and further vicinities) to maximise our time. If you’re into walking, then many of the main attractions are achievable (Tiergarten, Victory Column, Reichstag/Bundestag, Brandenburg Gate, Unter den Linden, Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, Potsdamer Platz, Topography of Terror, Allied Checkpoint Charlie etc. and easily accessible and understandable public transport for further afield e.g. Berlin T.V. Tower, East Side Gallery, Berlin Wall Memorial snd so on). But back to the Hotel Aletto: great hotel, great stay and will definitely return!

The staff here were super friendly and helpful. The room was really nice and the location was perfect. I enjoyed the ease of parking in the hotel’s private lot. The cost is very reasonable for a prime city parking spot. Checking in and out was simple and quick. This location allowed for a 5 minute walk to the zoo - literally across the street, walking to tons of shopping and dining, and easy driving around town as well as in and out of Berlin. (We flew in to start a Europe roadtrip here). It took maybe 25 minutes to drive to the wall memorial, Brandenburg gate, Reichstag, etc. For those that don’t want to drive, there is a metro station 3 minutes away. We were a family of five including our 3 kids and the room was big enough for us to have a comfortable stay. There was multiple elevators/lifts and the stairs we very easy as well. Having a Starbucks service in the lobby was an extra bonus. From the time I made my reservation until the time I checked out, this hotel and team was great.

Wir haben dieses Hotel für eine größere Gruppe und einen Kurztrip gebucht. Wir haben für das Geld nicht viel erwartet wurden aber positiv überrascht. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer geräumig und sauber. Die Lage total zentral. Das Frühstück ist echt reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Für meinen nächsten Berlinbesuch werde ich wieder hier buchen.

I stayed here for just one night and while the room was significantly smaller than the photos suggested, that was the least of my problems. The main issue was a severe lack of privacy. Ten minutes before checkout a cleaner opened my door and walked straight in without even knocking first while I was in the middle of changing clothes. This was shocking and completely unprofessional. On top of that the service was incredibly cold. The receptionist was very unwelcoming and didn't even ask how my stay was during checkout. There was zero genuine interest in guest satisfaction and this attitude wasn't limited to the reception, it came from every staff member I encountered during my one-night stay. Between the intrusion of privacy and the unhelpful staff, I left feeling uncomfortable and undervalued. I would never ever stay here again.

i stayed here with 4 friends for a city break in berlin and the staff were incredibly accommodating in recommending places to go and were very friendly and welcoming!! the room was perfect for us and cleanliness wasn’t an issue at all. the hotel is situated directly next to the train station which was very convenient, however, we found at night (after around 10pm), the surrounding areas around the hotel felt quite unsafe especially for female travellers but this is no fault of the hotel itself as during the day the area felt safe to walk through and navigate. overall, the hotel and staff were amazing and i would recommend staying here but remaining vigilant in the evening.

Das ältere Gebäude ist von außen wenig einladend. Die Zimmer sind jedoch frisch renoviert und zweckmäßig aber ansprechend eingerichtet. Die Sauberkeit war vorbildlich. Die Verkehrsanbindung ist super, dafür hat die Gegend natürlich "Bahnhofsflair". Frühstück hatte ich nicht und kann es daher nicht bewerten.

Zentrale Lage direkt am Bahnhof Zoo / Hardenbergplatz / Ku´damm und dennoch relativ ruhig. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für einen Städtetrip. Zimmer war sauber, das Personal sehr freundlich. Gerne wieder.

De accomodatie is super. Mooi hotel, lekker ontbijt, goede kamers. Ligt goed vlakbij de winkelstraat en het ov. Alleen onder het viaduct naast het hotel houden zich veel zwervers op. Daar heb je op zich geen last van, maar de stoep ligt er vol glas en savonds voelt het niet zo prettig.

We really were pleasantly surprised with the room it was exactly what we needed for a family with 3 teenagers. The room was cleaned and fresh towels provided each day. The shower was powerful. The rooms were quiet and no sound from nearby station or roads could be heard when the windows were closed. The Aircon was brilliant and all in all we had a great stay. Breakfast prohibitively expensive for 5 people so we just went to nearby supermarket for coffee and croissants each day. No problem.

Sauberes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal und sehr gute Anbindung (kurzer Fußweg zum Bahnhof Zoo und Kudamm). Perfekt für einen Besuch in Berlin. Die kleinen (aber schönen) zweckmäßige Zimmer und das sehr gute Frühstückbuffet (und Dachterrasse) runden den angenehmen günstigen Aufenthalt ab.

Brilliantly located for a Berlin city break - you can easily walk to Tiergarten and get anywhere in the city from the station across the road! Nice if compact room (2 sharing was fine, would be perfect for solo travel) and really good breakfast - we were there for the half marathon and it was ideal. Would recommend.

Fantastic stay! The hotel staff was incredible—friendly and helpful every day. Breakfast was delicious. Our room was very clean and the bed so comfortable. We would stay here again in a heart beat!

Trevligt hotell och hjälpsam personal. Rent och överlag barnvänligt. Ligger väldigt bra och nära tunnelbanan så utflykter fungerar smidigt. Frukost var i mitt tycke dyr sett till värdet men helt ok. Kortbetalningar i baren fungerade inte alltid och det gick ej att sätta på rummet så det blev lite struligt. Men överlag ett mkt trevligt hotell som vi gärna kan bo på igen.

I'd recommend this hotel to anyone needing quick access to areas around Tiergarten and Zoologischer Garten, for a modest price. The only heads up is that there's a lot of homelessness under the metro/bahn, so be prepared for this. It didn't bother us though.

Good choice for a very central location in Berlin, near the Zoo. Family friendly and convenient, with a large parking garage (although not cheap) next door. The back yard and roof terrace provide the possibility of a quiet retreat. The back yard also has football and baseball courts, and a small garden.
