Hospedería Palacio de Casafuerte

Staff were excellent at check-in and throughout the stay. Breakfast was very good. The restaurant is also very nice, although being in Spain, it did not open for dinner until 9pm. In the bar, drinks and tapas were available in the afternoon. Huge wine selection. Parking was onsite and free. The only negative was that the toilet in our room continued to run water (sometimes, not always). Overall I highly recommend this hotel.

This is a fabulous hotel, luxurious and very well presented. The staff were very helpful and polite. Our only disappointment was the restaurant and bar closed on Sunday evening. We had to drive into Haro but found it very quiet for restaurants, which considering the football world cup being on, we were surprised about. Otherwise, the hotel itself is highly recommended.

This 15 century hotel/restaurant is wonderfully renovated. Restaurant is closed on our date of arrival, and front desk older gentleman used Google Translate and send us to a Mich. recommended restaurant in town of Haro only 12 min away and dinner experience turn out great. Bkft from 9-10 am was excellent even w fresh squeezed orange juice.

Wonderful property with fantastic staff

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming hotel in the heart of La Riola, and I can’t recommend it enough! The location is perfect, allowing easy access to all the nearby wineries. Waking up each morning was a delight, serenaded by the enchanting songs of the Koo Koo owl, complemented by the gentle sounds of church bells ringing in the distance. The hotel itself is immaculately clean, with a lovely Dalit turning bed that provided a cozy atmosphere. The memory foam pillows and mattress were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The complimentary breakfast was fresh and delicious, setting us up perfectly for the day. The air conditioning worked wonders, keeping the space cool and comfortable, and having an elevator was a huge plus when traveling with heavy luggage. The family that runs this hotel treats you like their own, showcasing kindness and authenticity that made our stay even more special. One of the highlights was the chance to witness their own winery operations—if you're lucky, you might catch a glimpse of wine-making firsthand! Additionally, the hotel serves as a beautiful wedding venue; we were fortunate enough to see a stunning wedding taking place during our checkout. We hold this family in high regard and have immense respect for their hospitality. We can’t wait to return to this wonderful place!
