We stayed in the superior apartment on the 4th floor. There are NO elevators so if you have big luggage or a stroller it will be quite a hike. Stairs are very narrow. Apartment was clean and roomy with a washer. No dryer or detergent. Friendly staff and close to many restaurants. 20 minute walk to the tourist attractions and 17 minutes to the train station.

We were looking for an accommodation in Ghetto area, and this apartment was perfect, especially for a Jewish observant family. Three details should be noted: 1. It is not the original Rimon Place hotel, the hotel is under renovation, and several apartments near by serve as a temporary substitute 2. Don't rely on google maps, they give a wrong location when fed the address! This is common in Venice. Just go to the original Rimon Place and the apartment is on the same square 3. Our apartment was on the fourth floor w/o an elevator, take it into consideration In general, the stay was perfect - the apartment really big, clean, comfortable and the host reponds quckly.

We lost power at 10pm, no light, no hot water. We reached out to the front desk but no one was there. We tried to call the front desk customer service but no one helped us. Power was back on at 10am in the next morning. Very disappointed at the customer service. We asked for refund or credit for 1 night, but all they said it’s sorry about that. They should have change our room last night when the power was lost, but nope, couldn’t reach them and they never call us back.

It was full of dark mould at the edge of the bathroom and the sink. Some hair was sticking on the tiles and radiators. Secondly, the boiler was not functioned for taking shower. It worked for the tap but not shower. The boiler showed errors whenever we started hot water at the shower!!!! The kitchen equipment was bad too. They were all very old. No cereal bowls. The sink was still wet when we were in. The whole apartment was full of staines and dust. I don’t recommend for this apartment.

Is hard to find accommodations in Venice. The apt was nice, and it was great that it had a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. Venice can be busy, but this apt was a bit in the outskirts, so it was a quiet and lovely area. Still close to main things in the city and good restaurants.

We enjoyed being in the Old Ghetto quarter and it was characteristic, charming and convenient. The apartment stay was fine but it’s worth pointing out the staircase to access the apartment is narrow and steep and a challenge to carry up luggage. Access would not be suitable for anyone with a physical disability. The apartment was well equipped with kitchen facilities, an area to eat and two comfortable beds.

This property was a great find! The hotel is in the Jewish Ghetto and is a Jewish hotel. It was very peaceful and quiet at night. It was refreshing to get back to the area after being in the crowds and heat of the main streets. The woman that prepared our breakfast was so very sweet and the breakfast option (included in our booking) were ample. The front desk personnel was helpful when we needed a water taxi when heading to St. Mark's and the check-in process itself was easy. I would recommend a porter from Santa Maria Novella as it is a bit of walk to the property. The room had a canal view from both sides as the room was positioned on the corner of the property. It was so lovely to look out and see the bridges and canal. We wanted to badly to eat at the restaurant in the hotel, but unfortunately it was reservation only on Friday night and because it was Shabbat, it was booked with no service for late reservations. The elevator worked well in the hotel (appreciated with the luggage we had) and on Shabbat, it is set to automatic so it runs a little slower, but still provides a great service. Air conditioning did not work well but was comfortable enough at bedtime to sleep. It helps to open the windows to get the breeze from the canal. We found it cooler with the windows open. The bathroom was clean with ample room (for Italy) with great lighting. The only complaint was the bed, which was nearly on the floor. Beware if you have difficulty "getting down." Would stay here again!

Was a good space for 4 people. Had all the amenities you need.

It was only one night and served its purpose, but the place was somewhat creepy. Getting to it required a flight of long, steep, stairs. It was dark and cramped. I understand this is Venice and things here are old, but I felt a little weird here. There was no hot water. We had to take very cold showers. The location was what we were looking for as it was close to the train station.

The accommodations at Rimon were lovely and exactly as pictured. Comfortable beds, mini kitchen, large closets. We are hoping they will add mirrors in the bathrooms and perhaps a shelf for a few items.

Although the person which we sent texts to was attentive, our AC in the living room did not work, the hot water in the shower was just cold- which after 2 ice cold showers, we called them late and they fixed it. They also brought us a fan since the living room AC did not work. We also asked if we can get a discount on the stay since we didn’t get what was advertised and they didn’t even get back to us. The bathroom tiles and shower tiles had mold and mildew all over and we voiced our concern too but it didn’t matter. It was really disappointing given the location seems to be close to everything. But the smell of mold and mildew was unhealthy.

Affreux. Odeur nauséabonde persistante. Ménage que dire .. Zéro. La douche était crade, le sol, des taches sur la couverture. On a voulu vérifier le matelas pour ne pas ramener des vilaines bêtes chez nous.. quelle surprise il n’y a qu’à voir la photo carrément mouchoirs usagés etc. On a voulu faire une sieste avec les enfants car on arrivait de Milan vers midi, clairement au vu de l’état c’était pas pensable de se mettre dans les lits, nous sommes restés dessus on a dû garder nos doudounes car les Clim réversibles ne chauffaient pas, la température ne montait pas au dessus de 17°. À 450€ la nuit, du vol !!!! Nous avons mangé dehors le soir, tenté de regarder le feu d’artifice et retour chez nous en France à 8h de route, malgré la fatigue etc c’était hors de question de rester une seconde de plus avec nos filles dans ce logement glauque.

The flat was really dirty, the dining room still had the last guests food on it. The floor, especially the kitchen had not been cleaned, and there was someones t-shirt in the washing machine. The beds were quite rickety and we had one thin pillow each. The location was really nice though, with some excellent restaurants to the north, away from the main tourist areas.

Nice quite hotel a bit outside city center. Generally very well but the promised double beds were 2 single’s impossible to keep together and the bathtub stopper was full with black mould.

The air con was broken, had to get a fan. They don’t make this clear when booking but the hotel staff leave at 8pm. This means if you return back late you can’t ask for any towels etc. You will have to wait until morning. The keys we were given didn’t open the doors from the outside so we were stuck outside close to 11pm. Luckily someone from the hotel was leaving and we got in.

The minimalist design of this hotel has not aged well, as the pure white walls of the room show every scratch, dent and booger. The room was furnished with what looked like $65 of Ikea furniture. The bed was in the beginnings of disrepair. The beds themselves were about as uncomfortable as mattresses come. They were thin and hard. The refrigerator door was coming off its hindges and held on by the desk it sat under. The shower was tiny and showed signs of mold. It was clogged when we first arrived. The bathroom was also arranged so bizzarely, with an enormous sink that you had to squeeze past. The hair dryer would only work for 25 seconds at a time and appeared to be bought on Temu. The room was so unpleasantly Spartan and bare and cold. It made me feel like we were sleeping in a hospital or an insane asylum. It's as if it resents being in Venice, the most beautiful city in the world. The room we stayed in didn't have a carpet anywhere and the floor was always cold in the morning. The shutter for the window on the outside of the building was broken and the slightest breeze would swing it around, often slamming it into our window. The screen was in disrepair and let in mosquitos. The breakfast was not included but cost €20 per person. There appeared to be nothing to eat but toast. The ONLY nice thing I will say about this hotel is the location. Not to close or far from the train station and in a relatively quiet piazza with a delicious pizza place.

Probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. No way to get to hotel except by boat and then walking. Elevator stops on every floor going up or down so it takes a long time even to get to the 3rd floor. Blonde lady at reception was cold and unfriendly. Large room, but it was 12 degrees outside and no heating option. There was a strong moldy smell in the room. Shower was impossibly small and not well sealed so water got everywhere. Overall terrible stay unfortunately, so I cannot recommend.

A/C didn’t get the room very cold. Small bathroom with shower in the way of the toilet. Shower doors had mold. Second door did not lock. Staff was not bilingual. There was mosquitoes in the room upon arrival.

We were in the newly renovated family room and it was beautifully decorated. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel is in a nice quiet part of Venice.

Great stay in Venice in a quiet neighborhood. The rooms are small, but efficient. View of the canal was a bonus - nice to see the town come awake in the morning. Also some great restaurants within walking distance.

Buona struttura in posizione comoda. 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione. Struttura semplice ma gradevole. Io avevo una quadrupla in mansarda ed era molto spaziosa con 5 posti letto, però faceva un caldo atroce, veramente insopportabile. Cercherei di migliorare questo aspetto. La ragazza all’accoglienza è gentile, però avevo chiesto una Tachipirina e mi è stata negata, ecco, posso capire che per qualche regola assurda non possano dare medicinali però, se un cliente non sta bene, insomma… In definitiva, caldo a parte, consiglio l’hotel perché è in una posizione comoda e ha 2-3 fermate del traghetto vicine. In zona ci sono anche posti per colazione e pranzo/cena.

Nous avions réservé une chambre pour 6 personnes dans cet hôtel, mais quelques jours avant notre arrivée, on nous a informés qu’elle ne serait pas disponible en raison d’un bris. Aucune chambre équivalente ne nous a été proposée. Étant un groupe de 6, il a été encore plus difficile de trouver un autre endroit où dormir à la dernière minute. Malgré que ce soit de leur faute, ils refusent de nous rembourser. Très déçu par leur manque de professionnalisme et leur service client. Je déconseille fortement cet hôtel.

Terrible, espantoso momento que me hicieron pasar, reservé en el Hotel Rimon Place y resulta que una hora antes de mi check in se comunicaron conmigo para decirme que la habitación era en otro lugar, me llevaron a un lugar deplorable era muy feo nada que ver con sus fotos, se burlaron de mí por que les dije que no quería esa habitación, me dejaron en la calle con mi familia y se fueron, me dijeron que si no quería era mi problema y era lo que yo había reservado, tuve que irme a otro hotel y pagar, estoy en espera que me reembolsen y me resuelva Expedía, son unas personas nefastas y groseras, en verdad que no recomiendo se hospeden aquí, tengan mucho cuidado para que no pasen esta experiencia.

The hotel is beautifully situated in between canals and is clean and organized. The room had a beautiful window view of the canal. Adam at the front desk was very friendly and knowledgeable of the city and provided important information about transportation. The distance from train station to hotel was decent. We walked with our carry on and it wasn’t bad.

Quiet area but still close to main location. Staff was great! We had to check out before breakfast started and they brought us breakfast bags to bring with us!

We liked the location, quiet & safe. The staff was friendly, clean rooms, clean towels, great restaurant in hotel & the waiter was helpful when we were looking for a bottle opener. The location was quiet and lovely school just a block away. Water taxi close to hotel to take to the airport. We really enjoyed our stay.

The property was a surprise as it was so modern though inside an older structure. The best part was that it was so close to the Rialto Bridge and everything else. We were 4 adults and had an extremely comfortable stay. The only suprise was that there were no mirrors so we had to rely on a tiny little travel mirror to get dressed. Overall- a fantastic place. Loved the support from the staff as well.

Our stay in Venice was an adventure from the start! The hotel is tucked away deep in the historic Jewish neighborhood, which makes it difficult to find at first. Thankfully, the locals were incredibly helpful—even though many didn’t know where the hotel was, they still helped us navigate to it. The room itself is very small, and while the beds aren’t the most comfortable, they’re manageable for a short stay. Be prepared for Venice’s unique environment: since the city is on the water, opening the window invites a lot of mosquitoes. We learned quickly to keep it shut for a more peaceful night. The main downside was the shower drain, which was painfully slow to empty. Standing in water while showering wasn’t ideal, but we managed. Otherwise, the neighborhood is quiet and charming, and there’s a fantastic restaurant just two minutes away. Once you get your bearings, the hotel’s location is much easier to navigate. All in all, a quaint and convenient spot for those looking to immerse themselves in a less-touristy side of Venice—just come prepared for the quirks!

Staying here was lovely. We did have an issue at night with an electircal shortage of a light fixture. It was a bit scary, however nothing serious and it was repaired instantly in the morning. I do recommend this hotel for folks who would like to be out of the hustle and bustle and crowds - which we prefer. It was also close to the dock where we got the water bus back to the airport from our hotel - this was super convenient - recommend it.

Modern, great breakfast and historic area

Great spot in a quiet secure neighborhood. Check us in early as the rooms were already prepared. Breakfast was wonderful, Michele was fabulous, attentive and friendly. Highly recommended, with an awesome view of the canal!

EXCELLENT!!! Front desk: Giordana Fato was so kind and gave us precise instructions for going from Santa Lucia Station to the hotel. Always with a smile for helping us. Room: we were at 226 room, it is fantastic!! In a corner, it has an amazing view to the channels, at night it’s like to be inside a postcard sight! It was so comfortable, clean, the windows have screens avoiding the mosquitoes. The amenities are so nice. Breakfast: Fabulous! First of all, the two ladies in charge the breakfast room are so welcoming, always with a smile and an attitude to please the hosts. The meal is delicious: the best fresh made scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, cream cheese, several type of breads, fruits, juices. My favourite part: cucumber and tomate salad!! Simply but so tasty and fresh. Every kosher, every fresh. Really, the best breakfast ever. Location: Campo di Ghetto Nuovo is a nice area, with Venetian neighbours, there is a police station kiosk in the square and it feels so safe no matter if come back to the hotel after you were galavanting late hours at night. 4-5 minutes walk from aquatic bus stations, I recommend to get a transport card, available for 24, 48 or 72 hours. WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER! cleanliness was bad they didn't change the towels despite we were paying 275 euro per night. breakfast was bad too and old woman shouted. location poor. I guess it is not a hotel firstly, it is a guesthouse. they treated very badly since the beginning so we wanted to cancel reservation but they didn't accept cancellation too. an extremely weird place.
