Our stay here was excellent, largely thanks to the manager, Monica, who seems to run the place single handedly. She was always on hand when needed, unfailingly charming, and volunteering helpful information without needing to be asked. Obviously someone who really loves her job! Our room was fairly simply furnished, but tastefully, as well as having the welcome addition of a balcony, with the alternative option of the large roof terrace where breakfast is served, but which is open for use the rest of the time. The only improvement would be to have proper glasses instead of the flimsy plastic ones in the rooms. they would be more in keeping with the tone of the place and also be more environmentally friendly, especially as they are replaced every day.

We were in a pinch trying to find a place to stay and this came up with good reviews. Monica greeted us, made a dinner reservation for us (we had been driving for hours) and the dinner was fantastic! Would recommend to anyone traveling in Reggio!

While the location of this property is close to several local attractions, including one of the regional train stations, the check-in procedure can be a bit tricky for first time guests. We rang the door bell several times and tried to call a number posted at the entrance with no answer. Finally the cleaning lady let us in. We waited 5 minutes for the manager to arrive. For someone who is used to a typical hotel front desk checkins, this was a bit unnerving: Were we at the right address? Do they have our reservations? Wish we had received some pre-checkin instructions from this property prior to our arrival. The room was decent for a B&B. Breakfast was limited and basic although the staff was friendly and helpful. Our stay was pleasant in general. But we would probably stay at a regular hotel next time.
